I decided to get a pint of beer which was good as I expected and my boyfriend got the strawberry milkshake, which he really enjoyed but ended up drinking way too quickly. I think a bigger portion of that might be better. I think this is a great place to stop when out drinking or to have your last pint before going home if you've been out all day and it's getting late. Definitely a must go.

If you are a fan of tweeness then you deserve to make a pilgrimage to this bar where the clientèle is Norwich's hipster population, infact it would be a safe bet to say that between this bar and the Norwich Arts Centre is the epicenter of hipsterville in Norwich. Saying that it is super-friendly and quirky. The staff are very nice and the selection of live music and cabaret is very typical of Norwich's music scene (mostly acoustic guitar sets). There are stacks of Vice and various other fashion magazines hanging around as well as a pile of boardgames in the corner (Ive played many an intense game of Scrabble here). The drinks are a little expensive but this is balanced out by the fact it's genuinely a nice place to drink and some nights there is a cover to see bands but this is usually "optional". Conclusion; hipstertastic but ultimately nice.

I am not usually one to complain about my experience at Cuba Revolution, but unfortunately…read moreeverything was awful this time. I had pre-ordered our meals and I received a confirmation this was passed over to the Norwich management team before we were due to arrive. When we arrived, we were informed they were not aware of our pre-orders so we ordered on arrival. We were then waiting for an hour (baring in mind it was small meals and it was not busy in the restaurant) and so I asked if we could get these to go as we didn't have all afternoon to wait for our meals. Once we had settled up, we were not offered any money off for the inconvenience and to top it off we were missing one side of sweet potato fries and the rest of the food was charcoaled like it had been sitting under a hot counter for hours. We are very un-impressed and wasn't able to eat the food as it was cold and inedible. It was sad that no one came to check on us after 30 minutes to even give us an update as to why the food was taking so long. Safe to say, I regrettably will not be returning for food anytime soon.

It's a little trashy, but drinks are 2 for 1 during happy hour and they're strong. They also had a…read morelive band going which was fun. We tried a few appetizers and they were ok but not very good. The main highlight was watching a very drunk old man dancing, singing and ripping his top off before being escorted out by security. We opted to sit outside, but the outside seating area was extremely small. Be prepared to be cramped anywhere you sit as the inside is limited for seating space as well. Nonetheless, the waiters were very nice and attentive. While my business partner drank a bloody mary (he said it was the best he'd ever tasted), I ordered a pint of Adnams Ghost Ship. I like my beers a little on the hoppy side, so this choice was perfect: not too hoppy, but still carries a citrus taste. With a menu heavily slanted towards brunch, I ordered the traditional English breakfast and was satisfied. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly worth recommending to the casual visitor.

We came one morning from brunch and loved the eggs! They do a fine cup of coffee as well. The "American Style" Pancakes where however anything but American Style. Being an American I can say I've never laid eyes on a pancake like that and I've had my share. They tasted nice, but it was essentially a couple scones made from pancake batter. We went back again for breakfast a few weeks later and brought friends from London with us and tries more of the egg dishes, bacon, and chorizo this time which were all stellar. Franks is quickly becoming our favorite breakfast and brunch place in Norwich. This Thursday we are planning of stopping in for dinner to give it a go.
