The service was exceptional! Every person who works in this restaurant was amazing - the hostess who checked us in, the young people who took us to our tables, the young woman who took our order at dinner & delivered most of it, and the young man who took our order at breakfast & delivered it, and the young woman who kept our water glass full and cleared our plates. We ate dinner here our first night. For starters Husband had shrimp cocktail and I had the blueberry spring salad. Both were good and filling. For our entrée, both had the ribeye with green beans and mashed potatoes. All was good, but it was too much food! We thought we didn't have room for dessert, but we did - vanilla ice cream for Husband and huckleberry ice cream for me. The only reason for four instead of five stars is the limited menu. It is the same thing each night. The same goes for breakfast. For breakfast, Husband had a skillet of scrambled eggs and reindeer/caribou/bison sausage with sourdough toast and I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and sourdough toast (Dakota allowed me to substitute toast for biscuit). The strawberry jam was delicious. The food was good and filling, but I don't know how I'd feel if I had to eat here for more than two mornings!

This was one of two restaurants in Mt. McKinley Wilderness Lodge...and I feel this was probably their nicest. Like 20320, this place had all the rustic charms, but much more modernized. Also, the views from this restaurant was amazing! Also, I felt that they had a better menu. From here, we had a late-night dessert, as well as breakfast the following day. For our dessert, we shared this Creme Brulee with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream...and we lapped it up. Delish!! I forgot to take pics of my husband's breakfast, but my Buttermilk Pancake was also delicious, though they looked somewhat bad, and quite odd (very light colored and thin textured). We also shared Bacon...and they were good, quite typical. I might have given this restaurant 4 stars based on the ambiance and the dessert, but the service here was just bad...as our waiter/waitress (on both occasions) were MIA here and there. It was obvious that they didn't have service staff on the floor. Still, we enjoyed this restaurant...enough to come twice during our short stay at the lodge.

What an AMAZING view of Denali! We sat facing a picture window. Did they want us to close the blinds? No thank you! It's gorgeous! We had the Caesar salad (pretty standard) and the chili in a sourdough bowl (we liked the sourdough). We had the steak with mushrooms (ordered medium rare ~ came out a little more towards medium and a couple of the mushrooms were a little dry) and the shrimp scampi (a little on the lemony side, but still good). For dessert, we had the triple berry crumble (pretty standard) and the creme brulee (the sugar coating was pretty thin, BUT it was tasty). Thank you so much to server Jhon (and the busser who didn't just throw it away) for bringing my hubby's pill bottle out when he forgot them out the table. I totally appreciate you! PRO TIP: Make your reservations on OpenTable and get points! There was 1 Pokestop accessible from the restaurant. There's wifi in the main lodge, but not at the other buildings.

Amazing quality and just the right amount of meal to leave you full but not too stuffed.

Great food and service! The staff was extremely timely and kind. We got the Shrimp scampi and king salmon. They were both delicious. Presentation was on point. The prices were very reasonable.

It was a very nice breakfast experience at this wonderful restaurant inside the McKinley Princess Lodge, Alaska. Food was delicious and service was beyond excellent. The entire place was surrounded with view of Mt. Denali and various other mountains. We devoured all our food with nothing left for the bears to scour. Highly recommended if you are staying in the lodge.

All main foods are so terrible. Too much expensive. Specially Ribeye was cold . They don't care meat status. And service was no good.

We ordered a beer and wine, and waited 20 minutes for it to arrive. Fish and chips: like some shit you'd buy in the freezer section at the grocery store...clearly not fresh. Even though there were multiple servers, I guess we got the worst one. Hard to find, and then she showed up with a second order of drinks. Ultimately, this place is closing for the season and they don't give a shit anymore. Or, management is non-existent. Recommend you AVOID.

Also their beer and wine selection is filled with local drinks. Now here is the bad. Firstly extremely mediocre food. It is also VERY overpriced. If you are staying at this hotel, there is not many options due to being so isolated. So you eat here or somewhere else at the hotel that is even more expensive and average. What's also confusing is the entrance. This is a bar setting but has multiple doors to enter. However you need to stop at a host stand that is labeled for another restaurant to get a table otherwise you will not be served by the staff. If you want everyone to come in from that entrance, label it properly. Especially when there was only one other family in the whole restaurant. Overall I wish this place was better and I wish I had more options to enjoy at this hotel.

We got a table but had to go up to the bar to order which is fine I honestly prefer to do that so you can get your drinks at your own pace. The bartender wasn't nice but she wasn't a Cu#% either so there's that. The whole time from the second we walked in this guy at the bar stared us down the WHOLE time so we stared back and he would occasionally look away but then do it again. Every single person that walked in he tried to intimidate why I don't know he was old fat and a drunk but he seemed like a regular and if he is we counted he ran off 7 different couples because the couples were older over 60 and they didn't want to deal with it. The food fish and chips wasn't good at all the coleslaw was terrible and it was the smallest portion I have ever had the fish wasn't much better. So the inside invite one star that's good and service and the guy at the bar his picture will be attached so when the owner reads this hell he might be the owner but if not and you know him he's costing you business. The outside bar was five stars the lady black hair was nice as can be every time we got a drink she would say cheers very friendly .
