They will lie to your face when they tell you can easily cancel when you decide to move before signing up. I travel for work so I made it clear in the beginning that I'd be canceling after a few months and didn't want the usual scum bag local gym protocol of keeping your credit card information and continuing to charge you long after you have left town but, hey, look at where we are! They are claiming they need me to mail proof that I moved states. They want pieces of mail from my new home showing that I live there as if that matters to close my account. Absolutely sickening. I followed suite anyway, mailed the information and they are claiming they haven't received ANY of the 3 letters I've sent to them. So now my only option to stop getting charged is to close my bank account and open a new one. Absolute trashy dirty gym as well, equipment is always broken, never gets fixed. AC is always out, steam room is broken 75% of the time, pool is not properly taken care of way too much chlorine, showers do not get properly cleaned.

They also have pick up leagues through the summer and fall which helps to keep you on your toes. They also have basketball and handball courts. Volleyball, and hockey courts. 3 baseball fields. The great thing about this park also is that it is host to one of the city's greatest monuments...the Roxbury bandshell. A brick wall built in 1939 by the people of Johnstown during the great depression to signify the strength and survival of the people of johnstown. Also host to the greatest ice cream shop on the planet Roxberry Creamery. Me and the family spend many summer days right here engaging in physical activity as well as tasty creamy treats. My glasses flew off of my face and I thought I was going to fly off of the edge, but instead landed on the ground with a nice bruise on my shin as a souvenir. The plastic "kids slide" is like going down a thin lobster tail and is bumpy on the way down. Anyway. Would come back. The slides are still fun even when moving at a reasonable speed. The rock scramble stairs and the cargo net to get back up are also fun. Yes, I am an adult.

Location: On top of a mountain with an incredible overlook of Uniontown and 15 minutes from all the festivities of Ohiopyle. Activities: Offering a high ropes course, low ropes course, indoor rock climbing in the adventure center, outdoor rock climbing at various locations nearby, a cathedral in the woods, hiking trails to Jumonville Glen, a historical museum, king swing, ga ga ball, 9 square, 4 square, the iconic hike to the cross, partnering with outfitters from Ohiopyle for biking and white water rafting experience, tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball courts, frisbee golf, fire pits throughout campus and inside pavilions, chapel, arts and crafts building, and a swimming pool. Lodging: Either roughing it in the cabins or taking shelter in the air conditioned Washington Lodge. Food: Its summer camp, suck it up. This is an incredible way to spend a week of your summer. The views are breathtaking and the activities range from being adventurous to the more subdued. Will continue to be back here for a good week of devotion, peace, excitement, and fun!

Still a great campsite and State Park experience at Deep Creek. We were here this time in June, but…read moreit's been a long mild spring this year, so it's been cool and wet. There were clouds sitting on the lake for the few days we were here, very misty and Will-O-the-Wisp magical. We ended up traveling to some breweries, Swallow Falls (massive rapids with all the rain), did some local shopping and caught a movie. The camp sites weren't crowded at all and we had no problem making last minute reservations for a Sunday and Monday night.
