With the completion of this room here with my family, it is a doable thing to do and you won't come out of there ready to brawl. Booked the room beforehand on their website. Pricing for these rooms is reasonable. When you think about other modes of entertainment, it is right on par. We took on the Bigfoots Revenge. The room felt a bit claustrophobic at first, but I chalk that up to them actually theming this out to the max. You weren't just in a room, you went into an experience. The staff here are amazing. They nudge you if they overhear you having an argument of what type of animal might have been on the wall. Like other rooms you are allowed clues, but it's best to see if you can see if you figure it out on your own. Spoiler alert, we escaped. Once out, you have the option to take a group photo of victory. Definitely give this place a try.

I had been craving to get another escape room in and I was excited to see they had a room in Westmont. I did all the setting up online before we got there to make it as seamless as possible. If you do sign up online, make sure that you reserve for four spots. If you don't, they can cancel on you, which isn't cool if you already paid. As of now, they only have one game available and another appears to be on the way soon-ish. The difficulty was up there for the room and it was of a pirate theme. As usual, you get the rundown of the rules after you sign your waiver. You are told how to ask for clues, given the time limit and set to watch a video before the countdown begins. We went about at our own pace. We did some puzzles out of order, but that did not effect the outcome. We got out that was all that matters. I had a good time, would come back when another game is added or this one changes over.

I feel like the game masters can make or break an experience. The room was awesome. Very well decorated, good ambience for the type of game we were playing. We needed quite a few hints to get going, which is completely fine. It was difficult to tell when a door or cabinet or drawer unlocked and opened because you couldn't hear it. It was a tough game but we love a good challenge. We did not escape this game but it would have been nice to have been greeted afterward to say "good job," but we were met with the same Young lady opening the door, without a word, we left. Id recommend giving the players an idea of how they might be successful next time or at least telling them thank you or have a good night. I also think asking if people would like a picture at the end of their game would be awesome. Overall it was a little disappointing because the rooms themselves were awesome.

This game was very interesting; however, it was more for just solving puzzles than for involving…read morethe story line. We did the heir to throne room and they gave us information for about 6 different puzzles at the beginning and it was impossible to tell what we had to start with. We kept on finding new stuff and trying to figure out clues that we had no context for which had us mixing clues for different puzzles and devolving into impossibilities. Once we finally had to ask for a hint (about 25 minutes in) it guided us to answer the first clue then we quickly went through the puzzles... One issue is that the game masters did not guide us along, it was apparent we had no idea what we needed to focus on but they left us clueless as we tried to sort through ALL of the information they gave us access to right at they start... it wasn't very logical. We basically had about 32 mins to solve 60 mins worth of problems. Another issue is with the "game masters". Our initial game master was different than our final game master so we didn't have continuity for who was following us in the room. Additionally, our last game master didn't seem familiar with exactly where we were and what we needed to do so they weren't very helpful with what we needed to do. We had fun, but because we initially tried to solve all of their problems without help we failed. Once we asked for a hint, that first problem led into ALL of the other problems. We were so short on time we didn't have the time to solve the next problems so we had to keep asking for hints knowing we were now short on time. In conclusion, for this room if you haven't answered the first clue in ten minutes then ask for help because they'll just let you flounder until it's impossible for you to win. Additionally, it's all about finding clues and answering puzzles, don't expect to be too immersed in the theme. The puzzles are theme based but we weren't too worried about not being heirs to the thrown at the end and were just worried about solving the puzzles.
