Very friendly cafe shop with taste gelatos. Service was excellent, tried a few gelato options and a vegan tahini cookie, all were very well.

The Long Version: My husband and I met my husband's sister and her husband here to hang out before we went to see a show at the Studio Theatre. I got a cinnamon bun ($3.50) and a herbal tea ($3.50), and my husband got a black coffee ($2.75). The cinnamon bun was unremarkable in my opinion. It was just ok, maybe even a bit dry, and also on the thin side. Not thick and fluffy. My tea was just a tea bag from Four O'clock Teas (I got Turmeric Cinnamon, which at least is a more unusual flavour that I haven't seen in stores). The temperature was nice and hot, but it was just bagged tea from a brand sold in health food stores. The inside of the cafe is nice. We sat in the front room near the service counter, but there are back rooms that are a bit more quiet. I would say the ambiance is the nicest thing. Service was pleasant. Maybe some of their other baked goods have more oomph and maybe their crafted drinks are special. My experience was just ok, but it might have been what I ordered. Street parking or paid parking lot parking only, but the lots are free on weekends and you can park on the street for 2 hours for free. Review #39 (2025)

I needed to do a pitstop between Peterborough and Ottawa. Perth, it was!…read more I don't recall ever visiting businesses on the south side of highway 7 in Perth. I saw Tim Hortons. I hadn't visited a Timmy's so far this year and broke that trend by pulling into the parking lot. There was plenty of parking. I parked and walked in. I used the washroom first. It was reasonable. It had two stalls. Everything was clean and maintained nicely. I saw the hype for its dream cookies recently. I decided to get one. I went with M&M's because I'm a fan of the candy. There were two women on staff. Both were busy, but were nice and cheerful. I placed my order with one of them. My dream cookie was $2.29 before tax. It felt a bit steep, but I paid nonetheless with my debit card. I had my Timmy's barcode scanned first and then paid. I got my cookie in a bag. I thanked her and headed into my car to continue road trip 2023. There were lots of places inside this Timmy's to sit down to savour a baked item or beverage. Most had the same thought as I did. I need to get back on the road, so I will savour my cookie somewhere else. I had my cookie in my hotel room. I can see why these cookies are a dream. Mine had a crispiness on the outside that I loved. I had my first bite and it was chewy. It was a pleasant surprise getting such a balance. The M&M's were mini ones. This cookie was perfect. This Timmy's does have a drive-thru. It's rare that I don't take advantage of it. Maybe next time. It's a decent Timmy's. I had a good experience. I'm glad that I stopped by. (218)

We have Timmy Ho's in Rochester, but none do as much business as this location on Dufferin, which…read moreis also the main highway route 7 from Toronto to Ottawa. And even on their busiest time, Saturday morning, when the locals want to get together for coffee and a chat and the Americans, like myself, have packed up from vacation and want a breakfast for the road, they run like a well-oiled machine. The drive-thru is scary towing a trailer, so I parked in the lot which boasts rest-area size spaces. Canadians are organized! One line inside which breaks into 2 - 3 orders stations which move well. Then to the pickup stations (2, one on each end) where you may wait for you sandwich to cook and be assembled, but if you are just getting coffee it comes almost immediately. Dedicated beverage people is how they do it. Now why isn't this all over? I've waited at a Dunin' Donuts for JUST coffee while the people ahead (No fault of theirs) are getting their westerns on toasted bagels and flat croissant sandwiches, Speaking of croissants, this location makes the best sausage, egg, and cheese croissants in North America. I'll have to try the Tim Hortons here in Chili and see if that is a true statement or it just tastes better on vacation!

There are not a lot of tables to eat at - only 3, with a few couches interspersed. The staff and patrons are friendly. We got there early today, and had time to look around before our friends got there. This gave us time to wait for a table, It gets busy in here, so ordering can take some time. However, the food was a while coming out. Our food came out well before our friends' food. However, the food was tasty when it did come out. Unfortunately, my eggs were a bit better done than I like them, but the meal was still edible, while we were eating and our friends were waiting for their food, the waitress admitted that they were short staffed by 2 people (you could really tell!) Later on, we heard they had run out of eggs. Although it is an interesting place, with an eclectic menu, and it's not next door for us, I would not be in a hurry to go back. I would give it one more chance, though, in a while, hoping they get their staffing issues sorted.
