Dr. Ayuso is amazing! Love how knowledgeable he is and how friendly the staff is at the Middleburg…read moreoffice. He even went so far as to come in to St. Vincent's Clay County outside of his typical on call time to deliver my baby via emergency csection because he knew we were most comfortable with him. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because I have had to go to orange park 2x and both time the staff there is rude. I also had a question about my bills and simply asked for a phone call back to explain it before I paid, but it took constant phone calls and finally driving there in person to actually get in contact with the office manager. The bill ended up being correct, and I paid it at the time that the service was explained further. I just was disappointed in how hard it was to get ahold of the person responsible for explaining my bill to me.

***FLEMING ISLAND*** Watching my sister's experience with…read morethis office has been heartbreaking. She has left most of her appointments in tears because she felt dismissed, unheard, and treated without compassion. Pregnancy and women's healthcare are already stressful enough, and no patient should walk out feeling worse than when they came in. The front desk staff have also been rude and dismissive. It seemed like they rarely knew how to handle basic questions or situations without having to go ask someone else for help, making the office feel disorganized and unprofessional. Instead of making patients feel welcomed, they added unnecessary stress to every visit. I sincerely hope this practice takes a hard look at how they treat their patients and improve both their customer service and communication. Everyone deserves to feel respected, listened to, and cared for, especially during such an important time in their lives. Based on what I've witnessed my sister go through, I would not recommend this office. If I could give a review with no stars I would.

Check in is just like any doctor's office, you sign in and wait to be called up. If they are not busy they will check you in and take your co pay or other form of payment when you sign in. The waiting area is very spacious with some magazines for the old school folks; there is also a small table with puzzles and books for young children to hang out at. Every staff member I've encountered here are very professional and very friendly, from the receptionists to the medical assistants. My first time here I met with Dr. Greenhaw, who took the time to get to know my medical history and what my concerns are when it comes to my health in an informal office meeting. For my first visit though, eventually my primary doctor would be Dr. New, who took the time as well to know a little bit about me. Honestly, I was a bit uncomfortable of having a male doctor as my gynecologist, but Dr. New is very professional and always have a female medical assistant present for all my appointments. I also liked that they are more flexible with hours and will make appointments on the weekends at their other location in Baptist South, which is very convenient for me with my sporadic work schedule. Even if this location is a bit far for you, they have other locations as well, even as far north as Fernadina Beach. I'm glad at this point that I've decided to come to this location from now on after the bad experiences at the Beach Blvd location.

This review is for the RIVERSIDE LOCATION at St. Vincent's, Dillon Building, Suite 310…read more The women who work here make *ME* want to be better at my job! That's a HUGE compliment because I also work in the medical field and it gives me a reminder what it's like to be "on the other side." The Technicians, Receptionists, Nurses, Doctors, and the Midwife inspire me to increase MY empathy and go the extra mile for my patients too. I honestly can't praise them enough! I have been seen by both Midwife Amy L. Zechella and also by Doctor Caroline J. Carrion. I never feel rushed, all my questions answered in detail, and I feel completely confident and safe in their hands. I've never had trouble getting an appointment when needed and the wait time before seeing the doctor was minor. My only negative comment would be is their phone service. 90% of the time the phone goes to voice mail if you call. The receptionist OR nurse will call you back usually within the hour but sometimes it's nice to speak with someone immediately. However, when the nurse DOES call you back she is THERE FOR YOU! I've never gotten the feeling like she was rushing through the call because she had another patient on hold. They will ask the Doctor/Midwife questions for you and relay the answer and call in RX's for you if needed. They are a LIFE SAVER!!! Theses women have my utmost respect and I can't share my gratitude ENOUGH!

First time patient, had to go for yearly since I left my fabulous doc in St. Louis…read more Check in was easy, only waited about 15 minutes before they called me back. I had already filled out the paperwork since they sent it to me a week ahead of time in the snail mail. A nurse escorted me to the bathroom to give a urine sample. I came out and she had disappeared. Another nurse sent me to a new waiting area. A third nurse found me 10 minutes later in the waiting area and tried to get me to give another urine sample and asked where my paperwork was? I'm supposed to carry my folder around? She asked me which bathroom I used for the specimen. I don't know, how many are back here? 5 minutes later the 3rd nurse finds me again with my urine and folder and proceeds to give me my vitals. She is really nice. At this point I am unimpressed but then I met Dr. McCauley. He is by far the kindest male doctor I have ever met and I have never had a male ob/gyn previously. He met me in his personal office first and got to know me before he sent me to an exam room. He was quick, professional, and kind. Even though the process to be seen by him was a little disheartening, I will be back to see him. All in all, a great doctor!!

Im almost 8 months pregnant and ive been mislead this ENTIRE pregnancy. First i met brittney whatever its name is. And i dont even feel comfortable who will deliver my baby i just dont know who will accept me so late in the pregnancy. So ive been told i had marginal cord insertion and referred to a high risk doctor. And I TRUST THE HIGH RISK PLACE MORE THAN THESE PPL. like that IS HOW BAD this place is. Thats not even the last of it. So i FINALLY got a job after having bad morning sickness and they told me that I now have A SHORT CERVIX. So I AM CRYING EVERYDAY thinking my son will die at anyday im counting his kicks and all and im scared to even wash his newborn clothes or PACK ANYTHING. Im arguing with my sons father blaming him and hes blaming me. But when we go to the obgyn they got the WORST attitude brittney stay acting like she cant open her eyes but judging me and its just... dont do that. Your like the same age as me sus. Just stop. Then they give us another patients paperwork and got mad at us for the paper they gave us. DO NOT GO HERE. If i could go anywhere else i would and could. Dont even bother calling they might call back they might not. Roll the dice you might give birth before they answer. They dont communicate in the office with whos calling who and its at this point where just deliver my baby and stfu because yahl are really pointless. I have been going to the high risk doctor and ill flood them with questions before this obgyn. I havent had much ultrasounds i guess the high risks makes up for it. But let me find a charge to my medicaid like they are. Seems petty now but being told your baby will die twice and they not even be sorry about it REALLY JUST ROCKS my jaw.
