I enjoy visiting San Marcos when I am in that area to take care of my personal business and my medical needs. To summarize my visits at the City of San Marcos, I had a really good experience in visiting their beautiful park and lake, they have an excellent community college and a SMSU, really good variety of restaurants to dine inside at and their San Marcos Civic Center and Library is a huge building and it is a great resource in giving me more information about their fun events to do in San Marcos. Some of their medical offices that I had experiences with whenever I had one appointment at the True Care and the Quick Care Office in San Marcos, CA. I was given quality healthcare at this Quick Care Facility. Their physician assistant her name is Dr. Bernardo, she was very caring to my medical concerns and also their staff of employees was very caring as well to me. I still will give the City of San Marcos, CA (4 stars) a good review because it's not fair to this City of San Marcos because of (two people) that is a family owned restaurant business. These two people gave me really poor customer service when I ordered a turkey sandwich at their Italian restaurant that was last Friday on June 2, 2023. As I said before, First Impressions are very important to me and First Impressions Count with me. I believe the City of San Marcos has a good community college that has given me a quality education. I attended Palomar Community College for two years which I majored in Computer Technology. I graduated and I was Certified in this field. Palomar Community College has very good instructors who really care about their students in wanting them to get a quality education for their future. It was great for me to attend a community college that really cares about me. The City of San Marcos also has a new University called San Marcos State University. I have a good friend Danny who is attending SMSU now and he is majoring in Biomedical Neuroscience and is working on his master's degree currently. Danny said all of his instructors are very passionate people and they enjoy teaching. I believe this is true. I have seen this San Marcos State University when I have driven on the freeway this University stands out and is very beautiful. I am not a resident of the City of San Marcos but I have visited San Marcos a few times to eat out at some of their restaurants like Pizza Nova has really delicious Italian Food that was on Friday, May 19. 2023. I did receive excellent customer service from Adrian their restaurant manager and every one of their servers has treated me with respect, kindness, and appreciation for my business. That is the way a successful business is operated. I also saw some other new restaurants in this strip mall on Twin Valley Oaks Road that I would like to drive over soon to the City of San Marcos and dine inside some of these restaurants. I saw the Spaghetti Factory Restaurant, Thai Asian Restaurant, A Sushi Restaurant, Brothers Coffee Shop, and this Chicken Restaurant that has live music and is open for lunch and dinner. I want to try out these new restaurants in the City of San Marcos soon.

I used to come to this street fair more often but now gravitate towards the Oside one on Thursday…read more Omgah, it's Thursday lol. But back to the review, please take time to go on the first week of May! There was around 500 vendors, I might be wrong but it was about six blocks full of fun things to be found. They do need some more things for men but then again, women are more in to shopping as a collective. If you love jewelry, small business finds, and food, it's definitely something I will be coming back for. I can't wait to go next year and replenish my earring collection. Recently started to collect them! We also had the most amazing freakin cake!!!! OMGAH!!!! I promise, if you like a cake that isn't dry, even a coffee cake that isn't dry, this company is worth ordering from! I am going to be ordering some yummy gifts for people in the future. It's called Dolce Monachelli's they do have a website and it's the best Bundt cake you will ever have. They have a cute sampler you can always get as a gift bc I will be gifting with these cakes! I think this is the best cake I've ever had! Sorry I don't have picks of the cake lol it was just too good and I forgot.

My friend and I went together and it was soo much fun being able to try brands I had never heard of as well as new flavors from brands I did know. My favorite was the Casa Azul which uses tequila and was actually one of the last brands I tried. They also taught me that most other seltzer brands use malt liquor which can upset your stomach and give you a worse hangover. This makes sense why seltzers are one of the only drinks that give me a hangover. All in all, it was a lot of fun! My friend and I arrived right when the second timeslot started and a lot of the brands had already run out of the shirts and koozees and whatnot that they brought to hand out. It's a bit unfair and they should either order more things or disperse equally between the morning and afternoon timeslot.

There was hardly a line when we arrived for our 11:30-2 block and we were IDed, scanned, and wrist banded very quickly. I liked that upon walking into the venue, we were able to pick up some clear bags courtesy of buzzballs, sunglasses, and water. Our tasting cups also had a helpful card to know what vendors were there. Overall, it was fairly small with about 20 or so booths. Our favorite was probably the Mucho Aloha Lemonade. Thanks to Hannah and Yelp for hooking us up!
