I let them know as soon as I noticed the damage. I even provided pictures of the damage. After talking with Shawn, the owner, he agreed to furnish the replacement parts so I could replace the damaged part. It took Shawn longer than I thought it should, but he did work with me and found a suitable replacement part so I could repair the bike. When I presented my credit card, as I had told him I would do when I asked for the service, I was informed that there'd be a surcharge for using a credit card. I disputed his doing that because there was no prior notice. No mention of it in the emails we exchanged, no mention on his website, but he was adamant that he was going to charge the fee ($5), even to offering to take the stuff off his truck and call it square. It was worth the $5 to me to not have to deal with getting someone else to remove the junk, but I'll never do business with him again. Surprise extra costs are a very bad way to do business, but Junk Truck operated that way with me.
