I once brought in an iPhone that needed fixing in the charging port (other than that it worked perfectly fine). they took it apart and fixed what they could but when it was put back together the phone didn't turn on. they claimed it was water damage and made us pay 100$ to come pick up the phone. horrible company. would not recommend their service to my worst enemy. read more

Took an s4 in to have the screen replaced. After 2 weeks the screen went completely black. So we took the back in as it was to be covered under warranty. The guy said he would have it ready in an hour. Almost 3 hours later we when in to pick up the phone. We were then told it wouldn't be ready until the next day, and they would call. The next day came and no phone call to say it was ready. So the following day I went into the store. At which time they said it's not covered under warranty and refused to cover their faulty product. This company is a complete rip off. And do not hold up to their warranties. So unless you want to flush $150.00 down the toilet I would not take a phone in for repairs!! read more

I had a time sensitive simple fix needed done on my computer. Was told it would be done for sure within a week if not less time. After the first week I called for update multiple times. They told me they were working on it and would return my phone call in a few hours. Was told 4 times he would call me back over the next 2 weeks, NEVER did they call me back. After 3 weeks of me chancing them i showed up to pick up my computer. Had to wait 40 mins for them to "gather" my computer. Also during my 40 min wait I heard them talking about how they were going to use an old parts they had on hard to fix another ladies computer so it doesn't cost them anything and they could "hose her". I brought in a phone with a broken screen and got it replaced, the next day the screen goes black, so I brought it back in to see what was going on and was told I must have broken the screen( I was super careful and it was in a case). They didn't honor the warranty and I was told to order another screen( now the second screen in 2 days) or I could take my broken phone back. TOTAL scam... I will never ever bring anything back to this place and advice you not to waste your money here. read more

The staff is great, however, the owner(Sheldon Forgette) is full of excuses and does not follow through on an agreement. If you're looking for accountability and honesty you'll only find disappointment here. I wish that Id read the reviews before entrusting this shop for a simple repair. I cannot even give this company 1 star. First, they are not a certified Apple dealer/service as they lead you to believe from their advertising. Best way to find out is to reach to Apple support, they have a list of Apple certified service in our area and NBCD are not on that list. Second, other than my "home button" my phone was in perfect working condition, prior to me bringing it in there (I have a video of that as well). When I picked up the phone for the "home button repair" I noticed the screen was different, it had two holes on the front of the screen that were not there prior to me bringing it in for repair. When I questioned them, the front desk clerk went to speak to the tech and he came out saying the wires connected from the home button to the screen were severed and he therefore had to change the screen. He then said "but there's no charge to you for this". I found this really odd that my new "home button and now imperfect screen" only would cost me $28 but more upset that nobody called me prior to changing the screen that there was an issue. This leads me to believe the damage occurred while removing the screen. Once home, the home button stopped working and now the phone cannot hear or speak to caller on a call. That feature always worked. I was on Apple support chat and they informed me that it was likely damaged while removing the screen. Granted when I reached out to the owner he offered to look at the phone himself. I refuse to return to this business due to the fact they mislead their customers from the get go, that they are certified to repair Apple products when they are not. I have booked with a Certified Apple service provider to now deal with the issue of no speaker/while on a call and another home button as that somewhat worked for only an hour after I brought it to NBCD. Very dissatisfied with the lack of transparency and honesty of this company! FYI, after the certified Apple provider checked the diagnostics, he said a "third party" part was installed which damaged the display/speaker and home button. I will never return nor recommend this company! read more

Horrible experience here, shoddy work and bad customer service. Would have been better off never going here in the first place. They use cheap replacement screens, are careless and damage other parts during repair and will not stand behind the work they do. Now I have to go somewhere else and pay again to have it fixed right. read more

PSA: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I brought in a Mac book air to be fixed for what I thought was a simple screen error, however after countless weeks of waiting around, and receiving my diagnostic fee back when I picked the computer up because they "didn't do the diagnostic"(fishy) I was still left with a broken Mac and 600$ stolen from me. To make a long story short, upon picking up my computer I realized that the "new screen" they just put on the computer had a huge dent and would not work at all. When bringing it back, theIR extremely rude manager told me it was my fault (top notch customer service). So extremely upset I decided to do my homework and when in Barrie took the computer to CERTIFIED MAC TECHNICIANS only to find out majority of the parts in my original computer had been harvested and replaced with a variety of different (BROKEN) parts. So not only did I get the 600$ stolen from me, but my computer is a mix match of broken parts that are all un-sellable. So thank-you Computer Doctors for taking advantage and ripping off a young student, and I really hope karma catches up to that business quick. read more
