I have been to the store a handful of times and each time the general impression I got was a…read morelaidback, too casual setting for a business, I noticed the staff members talk to you like you have no idea what you're talking about; for example one time I had a staff member tell me what an ethernet cable was even though I have a background in computers. I remember another occasion where there was a discussion about tax exploitation from someone who was a duel citizen.. when you walk in it's pretty cluttered and quite dusty even in the product photos you can see an accumulation of dust. Nobody knows any of the prices and when you try an inquire about a certain item they redirect you to more expensive unrelated items, I understand trying to upsell but when its a certain component for a CPU, maybe don't. I don't think I'll be back here maybe unless I want to know how to cheat the tax system with crypto when they openly discuss it.

Recently I used their services (due to them being close to my home) and found the owner to be very…read morerude. I had requested three prints to be done the same day and I was told this wouldn't be a problem. I sent the files to them in the morning and didn't hear anything back so I went down at 4:00pm and there was nothing done (Side note, I had also sent them 3 prints a day earlier and those weren't printed either). The owner then came out and started talking down to me, letting me know they need at least 48 hours to print and going on like it was my fault they didn't communicate that clearly. The way he was talking was very condescending to say the least. I was not told there was a two day wait (seriously what print shop does that? Two days?). There is also no literature in the store stating this anywhere. Then I was handed a knife and instructed to cut my own prints. Like they had done me a favour at all printing them in the first place. So unprofessional. The kicker is that I wanted to remain with them as I have a 300-400 custom prints I need down for a show in the fall. You always hear about supporting ma and pa shops (which was the reason I went to them), but not if those shops don't understand how to speak to their customers with respect. There are other print shops in town as well. I'd recommend places like Print3 or or Moyer Printing. Excellent service, and they'll treat you with respect. Beatty won't get my business anymore.

I lost my signal for my downstairs television and Bells answer was to charge me $75 bucks just to have a technician come look at it. I called Derek for help. He was far more knowledgeable then the idiot from Bell customer serves and a whole lot more helpful. Derek does much more than satellite service. He also did a very professional job installing my wall mounted television, set-up my home network, and has recently branched into home automation. Derek has saved me a bundle in all my home electronic needs.

The moving guys were excellent and the work we asked of them was hard so we gave the 4 movers a…read more$100 tip each unfortunately the management and organization of the move was TERRIBLE! They came with 2 trucks but they left with one empty and the other ONLY 2/3 full. I was told by one of the moving guys that it was done because they didn't want to work late. 3 days later was as soon as they could complete the "1 day job" so 4 days in total for 2 trucks and even then they only partially completed the job with 1 truck and left us with a freezer and other stuff still there. Mike is second generation, and knows his trade! With eight rental properties, we've had them do clean ups, water removal, humidity checks, fan/dryer/dehumidifier rentals, duct cleaning, and carpets. Always a professional job at a good price. Twice they have rescued commercial spaces after flooding (one a clinic's basement due to poor drainage, the other a large recreational company with a ruptured water main that had frozen). Saved us a considerable amount on the water main! More recently, we had the ducts cleaned in in a newly acquired residential unit, removing years of dust, dog hair, and smoke residue.
