The Christian decor was present but not overbearing, probably enough to catch the sentiments of believers. The one point of humor is, I believe, a typo in error. The banana pudding was a complete miss for me. I honestly wouldn't consider it traditional banana pudding. The texture and taste just weren't there, and I would skip it altogether. Ironically, the most enjoyable part of the meal was the store-bought rolls with the honey for dipping. Fresh food is a great start, but Southern food is about flavor. Unfortunately, this meal just didn't deliver for me.

The Broccoli Bites were very flavorful. They were made from Broccoli Bits that were wrapped in flavored cornmeal and fried. I had the Mint Julep and the Bourbon Smash as cocktails. The Bourbon Smash was a special made with Bourbon and smashed Maraschino Cherries and a dash of Cherry Juice. It was very refreshing. My partner had the Lemon Blueberry Mojito which was also a perfect drink for a hot summer day. Our meals consisted of the Seafood Pasta and the Barramundi. The Seafood Pasta was a large bowl filled with pasta, shrimp and scallops. The Barramundi was a nice sized piece of white flaky fish that was seasoned just right. They earned this one and I want others to at least be wary of this place. It was better than eating snacks in our room (in guess...). Food (2/5): The star of this meal was the appetizer- wonton chicken tacos (fried wontons with diced chicken and slaw). We should have stopped there. Bourbon shrimp and chicken was barely edible. Slimy, (drowning in oil) and overcooked. The only saving Grace was the mashed potatoes. They were out of the drink I wanted so the waitress recommend a sangria. It literally tasted like she opened a can of fruit cocktail in syrup and dumped some cheap wine in top. Barely drinkable. Service (3/5): The waited was nice enough but definitely overworked. She dropped by our table twice during the whole meal. Atmosphere (2/5): This placed was packed for Covid time. There was a poor man standing in the lobby there entire time trying to get his takeout order, which I assumed was messed up since he kept returning to the restaurant. The dogs were loaded with chilli and a fork was definitely needed. We had requested cheese on the dogs but this was missing. The onion rings were phenomenal.
