Clean, fun, unique experience! With an added bonus of great food and drinks available with happy, fun service! Awesome time to relax and enjoy the natural serene surroundings!

Came across the Norris Hot Springs as the Bozeman hot springs were closed due to maintenance. It was a bit out of the way but we were pretty happy asI feel like it added to the secluded feel. It's not so much of a hot spring than more of a giant hot tub/pool but it was incredibly relaxing nonetheless. It doesn't have the absurd sulfur smell you get either which was nice. When you enter there are changing rooms immediately to your left with provided baskets and curtained areas for you to undress/change as needed. We left our bigger bags in there with clothes but brought our purses and what not to the pool area. We came on a Thursday in the early afternoon and it wasn't too crowded so finding a table with a few seats was fairly simple. Although it was a cooler day, the water was plenty warm!! We mostly sat on the side with the cold water spray because it offered a really great balance. We were also lucky that the sun was out and we got some great vitamin D. It was pretty cheap to get in and the food available is reasonably priced. My sister in law ordered the giant nachos that honestly was enough to keep our crew of 6 fairly satisfied. They do have a water fountain available, you can bring your own bottle or ask for a cup at the concession window. Stay hydrated and be sure to drink some water while you're there!!

We've been stopping by here at least once a year. I usually come a group of friends but this time I had the pleasure to bring my daughters. If you enjoy outdoors and hot springs this is a great place to stop by. There is food, alcoholic drinks, refreshments and merchandise available for purchase. There are tables where you can enjoy relaxing, eating or just visiting others. There is also some shaded areas. There's a camping area as well. There's a ladies room with lockers and baskets available if you need to change into or out of your swim wear. It is an open room so theres no doors or curtains dividing sections for you to change in. There's a different room for the gents. There are no indoor bathrooms but honey buckets, which were nicely kept. Not trashed nor stinky. We ordered a pizza, it was crunchy just as I love it and cheesy. It was delicious. The water temperature was great, just what we needed to relax our bodies. They do have live music at times, you'll have to check out their calendar of events for that information. You can take your drinks into the hot spring except those served in glass. Everyone I've usually encountered are always friendly and respectful. It's such a neat place. Do bring a lock with you to use a locker or do as we did. Take your items out with you, find a place where you can keep an eye on them and where they won't get wet.

So fun, don't miss it. Definitely a bit of a "granola" experience, but in all the best ways.

Great hot springs, but it's a little bit too much of a drive from Bozeman. The live music and poolside bar are awesome!

Just OK food but is made a bit more special when considering much of it comes from the garden.

Bozeman Hot Springs - Great beverages

The facility is clean and nice. The gym area has everything you need and hasn't been busy whenever I've gone. The outdoor pools are incredible with fire pits, soft music and overall incredible ambiance. It's very romantic! They of course have saunas, steam rooms, cold plunge and towels are included. It's worth the price to visit at least once and it feels especially wonderful on a cold winter day.

**November 2025: Monday Afternoon Visit**…read more Of the different activities I researched before coming to Bozeman my mom requested a spa/very chill activity during our visit so I found Bozeman Hot Springs which definitely fit the bill! I was reviewing a couple of different hot spring options, but this one felt more like a resort and had both indoor and outdoor pools which felt like a more luxurious experience. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was nice and peaceful. I was told the indoor pool did not have chlorine since it was drained daily and the outdoor ones did. I saw other guests bring their own beach towel. The business does provide a towel, but it's somewhat thin and flimsy. They also provide lockers (with a lock) and there are showers if you want to rinse off before/afterwards. My mom and I went on a weekday, but I was informed that on that weekend they had a band play on Saturday and that on Sunday it was EdM night which would definitely be a different vibe. I think we spend less than an hour there as our body soaked in the necessary minerals. I do recommend brining a bootle of water as you might get dehydrated. Otherwise - fun!

The Super 8 in Livingston, 54 miles from the north entrance at Gardiner, offered a room for $114. And those are the cheap end. I kept looking and found Lure Me Inn in Ennis, Mont. Sure, it's 70 miles from Yellowstone (an hour north on a highway with a 70-mile-an-hour speed limit). It's a beautiful drive that takes you past Quake Lake, formed in 1959 when a magnitude 7.5 earthquake dumped 80 million tons of rock into the Madison River and formed the lake. The Madison is a renowned fly-fishing stream for rainbow trout. The rate for a cabin with one bed was $75. I believe the cabins with two beds went for $89. The open room includes the bed, a dining table, a two-burner stove, refrigerator and microwave. Dishes, utensils and pots and pans were also supplied. There was also wireless Internet and DISH network television. The separate bathroom included a combination tub and shower. There was also a sitting bench and plenty of towels. Owners Melissa and Tom Rogers were friendly and clearly enjoy hosting people. They were a delight.

There wasn't room for anything else. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked until we wanted coffee. They furnished the a 12-cup coffee pot, but all we could find was 3 little bags of coffee that make 9 ounces each. If you don't wash the dishes you use, you get charged. I couldn't help but wonder who had previously washed my coffee cup. I ended up washing it before and after use.

The first time was just to soak for the day, which was only about $15 for a day pass. It felt amazing on a cold snowy day. I came back recently to experience the winter getaway package while my friend was visiting. It includes a night stay in the lodge, dinner at the restaurant, access to the breakfast buffet and of course the soaking pools. It was such a relaxing weekend and a great value! The lodge is very rustic and cozy. The restaurant is very nice and feels more upscale. The food was incredible, but I would love to see more vegetarian/vegan options. There are some salads and a mushroom pasta, but it was very heavy on the dairy- delicious though! The bread before dinner was AMAZING and the staff were really on top of things. My favorite part about the restaurant was the breakfast buffet. I loved the pancakes and huge assortment of tasty breakfast food. I felt so pampered having such a wonderful breakfast and then soaking in the pools. I would highly recommend staying at Chico for a fun Montana staycation or vacation!

Bartenders, Austin, Jamie and Ethan were awesome. The female bartender working with Ethan and Jamie had been very rude and condescending - she gets zero stars! Hopefully that miserable bartender will have a better attitude...
