When I walked in I saw two employees on the phone taking care of customers. I browsed the store checking if I saw the water filter I needed. I didn't. One of the employees said they do not stock the filter but they can order it. A-1 is known for stocking older model replacement parts and what I call off parts. I had an old oven from the 1950's and the element burned out. I went to A-1 and they had that old part in stock. I was told I could order the water filter from Amazon and get it quickly. I didn't think to check Amazon for the water filter. Thank you A-1 for that recommendation!

It was not at the location I was at so the nice woman helping me was able to check their other locations and found the part for me. I went to the other location and the young man that waited on me went right to the part and had it in-hand in less than 2 minutes. I was in & out with correct part in 5 minutes. I highly recommend this business and it is refreshing to experience skilled & knowledgeable employees at this day and time. You will not find this level of service at any big-box store. A pickup truck had pulled up behind me and he finally got out of his truck and went into the store and drove off a few minutes later. When I arrived no vehicles were parked in front of the store. I finally got out of my car and went inside where 3 employees were working the counter. People that had arrived after I had were being taken care of. I asked why no one was responding to drive thru. I was told they were too busy and they were not responding to drive thru. I said I had arrived there before some being taken care of in the store. They did not care. I said it doesn't take long to take a prepaid package. They still didn't care. I tossed my package on the counter by the manager but forgot to wait for the package to be scanned in. I have dropped off pre paid packages before and had no problem with it being shipped. I was upset at how I was being treated and disrespected. It appears this package is now lost and they can care less. I know I should have waited for a receipt, but my package was right next to the store manager. As far as I know it is still illegal to mishandle mail. I believe they should discontinue the drive thru if they cannot handle it. Adam, the owner, never responded to my request for telephone call to discuss the situation. I had left my number at the store he also owns that is next door to Mail pro.
