His measurements were accurate and the design result looked great but the finished product showed uneven panels that are very noticeable. I pointed out each area that needed to be sanded and repainted, and after briefly sanding and painting those areas, Eric indicated it was done. Eric is a very confident and fast worker. His design capabilities are good, but his finish carpentry skills need improvement. He gave excuses as to the unevenness of the panels, indicated it's a ceiling and wouldn't be noticed, and didn't listen to my desire to have a well designed coffered ceiling with a smooth finish. I have hired a partner, who said the unevenness of the panels was terrible, to sand, putty, and repaint the ceiling. This has been a much more expensive project than I wanted. If I had Eric just install the ceiling design and then hired a painter to make everything even so it would have a smooth finish, I would have been better off. Buyer Beware!
