The vibe of the cafe was cool, it was decorated with various items throughout. Plus, there was an area where you can read and/or buy books. I ordered a matcha latte and my partner picked a muffin. We got a seat by the window at the back, so that we can cool down and look at the beautiful view. The food was yummy and we enjoyed relaxing there. The aged cheddar pimento spread and curried chicken salad was my favourite dishes. The scones were moist and tasty along with the clotted cream. The sweets were my least favourite as it felt a bit generic and less exciting. Overall, most food was good and tea was pretty good. As there are many other tea house on the west side of GTA, I will unlikely return to this one. But it is definitely nice to try. In the intervening time, a lot of upscale coffee shops have cropped up, and Coffee Culture has stiff competition! They have also expanded, and I have been to another location a few times. That one is fine. We came in here today looking for the free wifi they offer on signs posted outside, but we had great difficulty getting in, and when finally we did, it was very slow and lethargic. Aside from that, the staff was polite and friendly (not to mention how patient they were as we struggled with their internet!), and although they offered to clean up the table we wanted to sit at by the window, and they were quick about it too, under the table was all kinds of garbage! Yuck! As for the food: we each got a breakfast sandwich which were tasty enough (mine was just ok), and the coffee was good although bitter near the bottom. However, the cookies were delicious! Coffee Cultures offers a combo coffee and cookie. I would absolutely get the cookie again. But with such fierce competition out there, and better access to wifi elsewhere, that cookie I order next time will probably be to go. :-( Unfortunate too, coz sometimes you just want to get off the couch and out of the house!! Went here as part of a school progect back in 2023. Every…read morething was eunique even having the items to tuch is always awesome, as many of the stuff are Brale, well most of them since it is across the street from Canada's only school for the Blind, Deffblind, and students with low vision, the W.ross macdonald school. It is a small art facility, easy to get around with a mobility cane, and is a charming destination on those cold and frigid days. I hope to come back soon as it was definetly awesome on days when I was in Hie school!
