I've had Allstate with another agent before and Mercury Insurance. None of the agents I've worked with have been as patient and helpful as Norman. When signing up for insurance with Norman, he was giving me tips and advice that no other agent has ever given me. I truly appreciated that because it would help me in the future if, knock on wood, something were to happen. I've spoken to the other workers at the location and they're alright. Haven't had an awful experience with them. But Norman is the best in my opinion, sucks to see that others had different experiences. In regards to the actual office/building, it's on the second floor and parking can be kind of annoying. read more

I was referred Norman and had high expectations, but he is all talk and no follow up. For home insurance, he requested five items for underwriting. I sent the items within an hour. He sat on it for two weeks with no communication. I then ask for the status because the promised completion time was in a week. He hadnt even looked at it and made the excuse that I did not send correct information. Even if that was the case, you would think an email, text or phone call would solve the problem. Imagine my surprise as he had done nothing. He then said, "Don't argue with me." And then hung up on me. He's a salesman that can't back up what he says with any kind of service or professionalism. I will not recommend him or Mercury to anyone. read more

My husband and I have been Norman's clients for almost 20 years. His kind and friendly demeanor is very welcoming. His professionalism and expertise in the insurance field is top notch. He works for his clients and is very honest and open. He's always available or someone in his office is and willing to help in any and all situations. He cares deeply about his clients and those that work in his office are of the same caliber. We wouldn't go anywhere else for all of our insurance needs. In fact, we have our car, life and property hazard insurance through Norman's Allstate office. Norman Tsang, David Mak, Sonny Nguyen, Tracy Zhang and the rest of his staff are exceptionally the best. Thank you for taking good care of us for many years. read more

The best Allstate, agents are very polite and are always there for you no matter what to assist in any situation. Anthony and Norman make our lives so much easier with any claims and problems we have regarding our insurance and policy and we would not want any other insurance group because of them. You will not find any other insurance agent as patient and helpful as Anthony and Norman! read more

We've had our Homeowners insurance with Norman for many many years. I used to have Farmers for my auto insurance but changed to Allstate several years ago and I'm so happy I did. I've been a member with all state for years now. There's a reason I have never switched... it's Norman and Sonny. They're two agents that go above and beyond for their clients. They will look out for your best interest! They answer your calls and if they don't they respond to you within a couple hours or less. With the pandemic and everything going on they have continued their unwavering help and support. Can't thank them enough, they really make you feel like family! read more

Norman has been mine and my whole family's insurance agent for as long as I can remember. Home insurance, auto insurance, and life insurance. If we needed anything more, he'd still be our guy! He's extremely approachable and helpful. You can tell off the bat that he has your best interest at heart. You are the priority. It's such a peace of mind knowing that my insurance agent has my back. He's been in the game for a long time which means he's super knowledgeable so ask away. No matter how small or big of an importance your question is, he will answer it. Above all, Norman is genuinely a great person. He just happens to own an insurance agency as well : ) Hands down, my recommendation for anyone who's looking for any type of insurance. read more

I never thought I would do a review for where I get my insurance, yet here I am! Insurance to me are like girls to guys.. cryptic, confusing, frustrating, expensive, & always changing! Norman does a great job turning insurance into the sexy girl you want to marry! (Who knew insurance could be sexy?!) I literally know very little about insurance and don't really care to know more than "How much?". However, Norman was fantastic and made sure I understood what I was paying for. He wasn't there to just sell me something, but really took the time to help me make my big girl decisions. There is a sense of trust here which is uber important when it comes to things that you don't know much about. He is so fantastic (best in the biz!) that I have constantly name dropped him to any friends, family, and strangers having issues with their insurance. Bottom line: Interested in sexy insurance? Great.. now stop reading and go to him already! read more

Norman has been providing quality auto insurance at a great deal to my family and I for years. He is very professional, and provided all the relevant information we needed to know about our coverage and the plans offered. Family friends have also gone to Norman for life/home/auto insurance, and they have all been exceptionally satisfied with the service provided. The office location is on the second floor of the plaza where the Shun Fat Supermarket is located off of Atlantic Blvd. read more

When did you get a Yelp page Norman?! I've had auto insurance with Norman since 2006 when I bought my killer Saturn Ion. I haven't looked back since. He's been very proactive about ensuring my policy is as effective as possible - affordable yet comprehensive. Good student discount, safe driver, etc... I can't even list all the ways he saves me money. More importantly, though, he's extremely approachable and really cares for his clients. He has called me before to remind me that my policy's premium was due to avoid a lapse in coverage. He's given me suggestions on modifying my comprehensive coverage and my deductible as the value of my car depreciates. I haven't been in an accident yet, knock on wood, but I have no doubt that he will be truly helpful when that happens. Norman looks out for the best interest of his clients, and I couldn't recommend a better agent for your insurance needs. read more

Norman has been an absolute pleasure to have as an agent. This Norman guy has been super helpful for all of my insurance needs. My family and I have purchased our home and auto policies from him for years. He truly does go above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. Last time I was in an accident, Norman personally called to make sure everyone was alright. He cares about his customers not only as clients, but as people. Super cliche, but you really are "In Good Hands" with Norman. read more

So many stuffs can complain... I had a car insurance with this agent before. Because their problem, I never receive my insurance card (they said they didn't input my room number...). However, I contacted them more than three times with email or phone, and even drove to their office to ask them update my address face to face. They always told me they are sure they change my address this time, however, it never worked. Ridiculously, the first mail I received from them is that they remind me to pay new bills.... Of course I cancel it! Then, the agent I contacted seems to leave the office, and I didn't receive any notice until I email him without any response. Also.... I am not really sure why this agent can receive 5 stars from all comments. But I really sure that I get terrible experience from them. For comparison: Now I apply insurance in AAA, and I receive my insurance card in 2 weeks without any remind or phone call. read more

So my wife and I upgraded her vehicle a few months back, getting everything ready as we're planning to start a new family next year. It's been a long while since we shopped around for insurance quotes/pricing/coverage. We're crazy busy all the time, with the ongoing pandemic as well, we simply just added the new car to our existing policy (combined with HOI). I usually dread talking to insurance agents because there's almost NEVER any good news, right? Haha. I decided to finally call around & thank goodness I had the pleasure to speak with agent Anthony. Man, what a genuinely caring and detailed professional - Impressive!!! Anthony asked me all the right questions, many meaningful questions that other agents I've dealt with would have never bothered asking. He kindly went over all the comprehensive options/coverages that I currently DON'T have, and what to consider to protect my family in the future. Great follow up & best of all very easy going (no unnecessary pressure) - we're excited & getting ready to make the jump over to Allstate once our policy expires, thank you Anthony for being our agent - keep up the amazing work and awesome attitude! Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I were absolutely astonished by you! I'm going to start referring all my friends & family over for sure, Happy Holidays! read more

Anthony was the one who helped me out and I highly recommended him to you all! I was in a wired situation which my previous insurance company cancelled my policy without letting me know and therefor I have to get my auto insurance started ASAP. And at the same time my car got no battery so Anthony just came and just started it for me! read more

The service was very good, the reply was very timely, the explanation was very comprehensive, and the premium price was also low

I had a hard time looking for an insurance that can lower or help me with my payment . Thankfully found this Allstate office at alhambra and Norman was a big help. He not only helped me with insurance but added more options that I never thought were available due to my last insurance that was lacking to inform me of these options. read more

Norman is extremely patient and helpful as he took his time explaining everything to me as some insurance terms are pretty much a foreign language to me. He'll get into the nitty gritty of all the details cuz most of the time I just have a blank look on my face when people throw insurance vocab around. But above all he's really easy to talk to. I went through Norman for my motorcycle and auto policies and would recommend him to anybody shopping around for insurance. read more
