Not sure who catered the food but for a buffet it was good and I don't normally eat buffet type food. Parking would be the only issue. With as many people that was there parking became a premium very quickly. The sound system provided excellent audio from microphones the announcers were using. My daughter talked of little else to cap off her night.I requested china service for dinner which apparently wasn't noted in the managers notes.approximately 5 hours before the event I was verifying china and was told no,it wasn't in her notes sorry. I replied sorry doesn't fix anything go ahead and set it up.no go. Additionally the bridal party was for 12 they set up for 8 ,when pointed out simply brought more chairs to an already crowded table to ends,my girls brought chairs for their table.my guests reported the limited beer selection was warm as well as the wine.they did not reserve a table for myself and father as requested so we arrived from church with no place to sit.The catering service cut 2/3 of the cake and left so I look over to family cutting cake.I brought this to the managers attention who said they only cut part of the cake?! ( the top was not to be reserved and already cut.) The outdoor gazebo had zero decorations even though I brought it up the day before.the bathroom door had broken locks which I discovered that night.Completed disappointed and would recommend somewhere that was operating as a business and not just a side hustle.clearly they had my money a year earlier and where uninterested in hiring appropriate event staff ,or in customer service.

THEN, while I was chatting with guests, I noticed mom and the manager by the cake table.. come to find out, she was again arguing with her, telling her she said we were responsible for plating and cutting the cake! Which we would have never agreed to. I was also looking forward to a final dance with beautiful lights and mums under the gazebo in the back, and that too was not set up. If you use them, keep your contract and have them sign off to what they agreed to!!! We told them we wanted a winter wonderland theme and when I say they delivered- I MEAN IT! Every detail was perfect from the lights, table settings, backdrops, linens and all. They were very punctual and kept us informed every step of the way. The food was delicious too- all of my guests kept complimenting the food. My daughter loves to cook so they planned a special pizza making part of the party for the kids and they had all the ingredients and personalized boxes for the kids to take the pizza home. Writing this from the perspective of attending a wedding here…read more.. And from my vantage point, The Grand Ballroom is a lovely venue. A staff member was waiting for guests when they walked in to hand them tickets to validate parking so we could park in the nearby garage for free. The ballroom where the wedding was held had tall windows that let in a lot of light. It felt a bit historic, with large chandeliers, but also enough of an elegantly-appointed blank slate where you could do what you want with decorations and it wouldn't clash. After the ceremony, everyone went up a floor to the balcony that overlooks the ballroom for cocktail hour, while the ballroom was flipped for dinner. The servers were friendly with drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and the staff in the ballroom pulled out the tables, which had been pre-set and waiting on the side of the ballroom. While anyone could see them setting up from the balcony, this did not cause any loud noises or interruptions. And then we headed back down for dinner, which was a mix of chicken and steak, I believe. It was delicious. Overall this venue was perfect for this wedding of less than 100 people -- the setting for a beautiful night.

I worked with Natalie after that and she went above and beyond. She was there for every question and concern I had. She was there on the day of my event and was so hands on and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff! From helping me with communication on road closures and traffic with Pride falling at the same time and day as my event, to setting up and breaking down, she was there. The Garden Room came with the patio and it was the perfect place to bring together my vision of a summer garden party. We had the perfect amount of food from their brunch options and add ons and it was delicious! We also still had the inside room to keep the food and utilize before we went outside for the brunch. I'm not sure what the capacity is but if definitely felt like if accommodated a decent number of people without cramping us together. The floor was perfect for dancing and the bars were easily accessible. The catering quality was good. We had three different types of sliders (pulled pork, ham and cheese, and veggie) all were good. They had an excellent selection of cheeses and the desserts were petite and fantastic (perfect size for trying a few). The Mac and Cheese was good but maybe a bit garlicky. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The service was friendly and efficient. This event center is definitely worth a look!
