Horrible! I gave the lady a bunch of clothes for alterations and a. She did not get them done at all so on my vacation I literally had nothing to wear and b. I explained to her and called her a couple times where not once did she say she was not working on them. C. One of my peices was missing from my bag where she claimed that's all she has for me when I knew 100% I gave it to her, and I told her I wasn't leaving without out so she "found" out surprisingly! The good: garment was ready on commitment date The bad: a couple drops of grease got on pants and was told it would not be a problem. The ugly: got home and looked at pants. Grease stains still there. Whatever was used caused additional damage to pants. Store owner said nothing as he just smiled and thanked me for my money. At this point even if I removed the strains the pants are ruined. Thought I would try this place in spite of the poor reviews. My mistake. There will be no repeat business. read more

TO THOSE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN: This place is not for you unless you are in a pinch and willing to submit to an extra charge for hypoallergenic laundry detergent. Im from CA, and being completely naive to the fact that maybe not all laundry businesses utilize hypoallergenic detergents by default, I dropped off my laundry and went about my day. Fast forward to the next day, I was pounding away at my keyboard doing work, and I had the sudden thought that maybe I should call and verify that they use hypoallergenic soap. After all, no one wants to sit next to an adult male in his 30's on a plane while he's scratching himself ALL OVER, riddled with irritated red skin. The man responded with "Oh, we use original Tide. Best stuff on the market." I'm hella allergic to that s**t. I asked if they used any non-scented soap for skin retards like myself. Apparently, according to him, NO ONE IN OREGON has sensitive skin. "Oregon has a different climate than California" My response verbatim: "It's not the climate that irritates my skin. It's the chemicals Tide uses to scent their detergent that irritates my skin enough to make me want to scratch myself with broken glass and razor blades for relief." Response: "Okay, I'll check the store but I've never seen anything like that. Im gonna have to charge you extra." Seriously? Step out of your bubble. I'm sure they do a good job with their dry cleaning and wash/fold for people who have that good skin, but you're not willing to accommodate for customers with health issues? Am I the only one who thinks this is absolutely absurd? I provided 3 stars only because he took my sarcastic criticism and general aggravated shock in good stride, then went out and bought some detergent. My "extra charge" is my gift to any of you future patrons with sensitive skin. I'm just going to continue my day and pray he doesn't destroy my laundry out of spite. UPDATE: So upon my return, I had a small chat with who I think was the owner/manager. I told him if he is going to provide wash and fold service, he should take into account skin retarded people like me, that it's a potential law-suit waiting to happen. I mean, anaphylactic reactions could become a legal issue. According to him and his 20+ years of service, no one has ever asked him about skin sensitive detergent. NEWS FLASH: Not everyone knows what they are allergic to, and you being the professional should take these things into consideration. I pray to God no one went home and started to break down wondering why they had rashes all over their bodies To be fair, he said my clothes would be available for pickup after 5PM, but accommodated for me to have it ready by 3 so I would have clean work/street clothes. What I received was a bag of laundry that was 1/4 damp (my socks and underwear), and a hole in the crotchular region of my jeans. It was in an area that was seemingly worn out from how long I've owned them so I can't say whether it was them or I who created the hole originally, but AGAIN, something they should notify the customer about before (if they see it) or even AFTER? Common sense seems to be lacking at this business. Lack of communication, and provisioning me with wet clothes, I'm knocking my rating down to 2 stars. If it's not ready for pickup, DON'T PROMISE ME a 3PM PICKUP. A job half done is not a job well done. Amirite? I'm a being too mean? I went to work with wet underwear and socks. Took in pants for hemming, cleaning, ironing, and to add a strap at the cuff to close the pant around the ankle. The hem was ok but the pants were not pressed, and the added strap was put on backwards and the button whole was just a cut in the fabric and not a real button hole. Will never go back. I dropped off 2 dresses on a Wednesday and was told they would be ready on Saturday. I came on Saturday and the man told me that they weren't ready and he didn't know what happened but that the dresses would be ready on Monday morning. I was having family pictures taken on Sunday and was planning on wearing one of the dresses so I had to go out and buy a new dress. I came in, not Monday, but Tuesday around 11am. I was told that they still weren't ready and needed to be pressed. I was asked to come back in 2 hours. They were finally done but I received no discount for the inconvenience of having to come 3x to retrieve my items. read more

I had them replace the zipper on a waterproof, seam-sealed rain jacket, and I got it back badly and sloppily done. There were perforationations in the waterproof material where they had sewed it wrong and taken it out, rendering the jacket no longer waterproof and looking quite bad. The zipper was also put in higher on one side than the other so the collar doesn't even line up anymore. The jacket is essentially ruined. I refused to pay and took the jacket. (I had provided the new waterproof zipper so I only refused to pay for their labor.) read more

I'm new to the area and found them on yelp with decent reviews. I called on Monday to ask when it would be done if I brought my huge load in that afternoon. Wednesday afternoon I was told, so I brought it in. The gentleman was very courteous and told me it would ready Wednesday after 5, they close at 7. I come Wednesday at 6 to pick up my dry cleaning and it isn't ready. He tell me my ticket says it isn't ready until Thursday but I remind him that he told me it would be ready Wednesday afternoon. He does at least offer to give me part of my dry cleaning that night but I decide to get it all together the next day. I pick it up the next day, take it home and find one my dresses still has a spot on it and one of my sweaters has a hole. I won't be bringing my dry cleaning back here unfortunately. read more

Terrible service...... I just moved to this area and I need a new cleaners.... I was hoping that Norge cleaners would be the one as they are close to my new house. I brought in five shirts and three dress pants. I asked to have TWO cuffs and ONE pocket hole to be resown and I paid $50 in advance. And I told them NO hurry. When I returned, several days after they told me my cloths would be ready, the guy (I think he is the owner) told me they did extra repairs and that I owed an additional $22. They did NOT call me.... they just went ahead and did the extra work without informing me.... if I knew ahead of time that it was going to be $77 I would have just bought NEW pants..... TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I have a VERY tight budget.... what happens if I did not have the extra $22??? read more

I have been going to Norge cleaners for over ten years from previous location and they always do a wonderful job of dry cleaning and tailoring. These people pay attention to detail; tissue for the sweaters and they are carted for fabric balls, lint in always cleaned off, paper is put over the clothes once they are finished, clothes are put on non slip hangars plus the clothes never have wrinkles and are cleaned beautifully. Dropped off a down comforter to clean..gave me a date when ready..but was not ready when I went to pick up. I asked to prepay but he accidentally charged me $345.00 which he initially denied. I since had the charge reversed and paid the standard $35.00. The next day the comforter was picked up but it was not mine. I returned it and was subsequently given 3 separate comforters but none of them were mine. The owner insists that one of them was mine. This has been occurring over 2 months. He has never reached out and contacted me on any occasion..I have been the one who had to continue to call and go to his store to try and locate my quality comforter. He just recently hung up on me and was unprofessional due to the fact that I said I refused to take someone else's belongings home as my own. He has not yet returned my comforter or reimbursed me for payment. I am following up with BBB and other avenues to resolve this. read more
