GO ELSEWHERE. This was our second year staying here at this…read more"condo". First of all, there is new management and it has went drastically downhill from our stay last year. There is no office access. We saw multiple people trying to access the office, obviously it was not communicated to them that this is now a "no contact" facility. 2nd complaint- there were SEVERAL huge bags of laundry sitting outside on the patio of said "office" for days. 3rd complaint- the 4 people "on staff" who were of which no identification that they were employees until we saw them with brooms, mops, etc. They were extremely RUDE. In example, a larger heavy set man was there and we asked him to unlock the laundry room so we could do our laundry. He was very rude in his response and asked what we needed and if it was personal items or needing towels, we said personal items and he laughed and said "ok, well it should be open", not offering to open the doors for us after we just told him it was locked. So, we found the second employee on staff who was identified with a "maintenance" name tag, and asked him if he would open the laundry room for us, he kindly opened them for us. 4th complaint- there was another said employee that was not uniformed violently pushing the chairs in the patio and taking guests personal towels that were laid out on chairs to their laundry basket. He was also going up to guests who were eating and asking them if they were finished with their food. He was very rude to interact with and he was not professional in any manner, just as the heavy set gentleman. 5th complaint- MOLD. There was mold all on the inside of our shower and growing on the shower curtain (see photos). 6th complaint- This is the icing on top of the cake- our flight was scheduled to leave very early, so we had to get up and going around 3 am. Waking up and walking into the kitchen, there were not one, but TWO COCKROACHES crawling on the floor!!!! My phone was not with me and as soon as I moved to go grab my phone, they ran straight under the refrigerator. As if the complaints above weren't enough for us to ever return, the last complaint was. This establishment used to be so well ran and high class. All I can say is wow, we will never return to Belleair Beach Club. It was also communicated amongst other guests we had met there that they have been staying there for years and were also very disappointed in the way this establishment has went downhill very quickly.

Several of the units are privately owned, either way, such a nice place to stay and relax. Location is key in choosing a vacation rental. At Belleair Beach Club, you're literally minutes from Clearwater, Indian Rocks Beach, St. Pete and Tampa. Just about anything you want to do is a short drive. Plenty of good eats in the area as well as nightlife activities. Only negative I have for this years trip is the slight eyesore of the massive pipeline spanning the beach with the ship sitting about a half mile offshore - but not to worry, they're just dredging to increase the size of the beach so it will be even bigger when we return!!

It actually exceeded our expectations! We arrived a few hours early and they let us park in at the hotel. Which was great since they are located 2 blocks from the beach. The room was very spacious and had a full kitchen, 2 tvs etc. The biggest surprise was the balcony for the guests. It was right outside our room. Hanging chairs, comfy rocker/gliders overlooking the town. It even had an ice machine, water machine with different flavors, temps and could even do sparkling water. An elaborate coffee machine was also there that made lattes, mochas and standard coffee. They have beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and even carts u can use to walk to the beach. Coming back, they have an outdoor shower and hose to rinse off. We decided to stay for a bit the next day and we were told we could keep our car. there til 4p- so we enjoyed the beach some more! We've already told others about this great find.

Which included a full espresso bar and infused water station to name a few. Both stations were free! The common areas were so fun and welcoming with hanging chairs, other comfortable seating and great views from the balcony! Our family used the immaculately clean grilling and dining area twice throughout our stay and saved so much money from having to go out to eat. Finally, the location is great with views of both the ocean and marina. 5 stars and we will be going back.

First of all, we want to say the staff was kind and accommodating. Our original room was a dungeon and they "upgraded " us at no charge. They really wanted to make sure we were taken care of and we greatly appreciate that! The pictures were a bit deceptive. Seemed like it was more than what they were. Room was good. Small, but adequate pool. They had a number of ice machines, which really helped. When we got there, one stairway to the upper floors was taped off for days. The elevator on our floor was out of service a number of the days including the day we left so we had to lug our luggage down the stairs. At 68 and though I am in great shape, it was really difficult. We would probably pass the next time we come.

The property is well maintained and clean. There are volleyball, tennis, shuffle board, and corn hole courts free for use. Two medium size pools with hot tubs. BBQ areas for those who wants to grill. Plenty of secured indoor parking avoiding the hot sun (your car will thank you for that). Good WiFi connectivity. And of course, the amazing beach in their backyard along with a beach bar serving any drinks you want. If you choose this place, it is a must to reserve a beach view room. Nothing else will justify. My room came with 2 queen beds and a couch with a pull out couch along with a small kitchenette (full-size fridge, stove, dish washer, and kitchen ware). Pretty good size dining room table for eating in. But the biggest disappointment is the bathroom. Alden resort needs to remodel the bathroom. The ware and tare throughout the years are showing bad. Handicap accessible bathroom does not mean just adding a bar and in the wrong place. The staff are respectful, courteous, and provides great service. Overall, my family stay was great and this will always be an option for get away/staycation.
