The Nordik approach was new to me, and it is unique and very effective. I've been a chiropractic asst for over 14 and a personal trainer for 6. I've been worked on by 6 different Doctors of Chiropractic over the last 22 yrs. Due to a lot of wear & tear from sports & weightlifting, my lumbar herniated for the first time 6 yrs ago. After a very long drive from NC to FL, my herniation flared up, causing intense sciatic pain & serious range of motion restriction. Dr G & Dr A are The Absolute BEST that have ever worked on me. The front desk staff is equally impressive. I frequently get stuck at work longer than anticipated and they always do their best to squeeze me in, when possible. A friend recommended Nordik to me because every 2/4 weeks I would get severe bilateral hip/ back pain that was so bad I could barely stand up, walk or even turn over in bed. I've been seeing Dr. G for about a month and a half and not only did he alleviate my back pain but I haven't had it since my first adjustment during my initial consultation. And not only is my back pain free, but I feel so much better in general. I have more energy, sleep better, breath better and I'm able to be more active which has it's obvious benefits. The office staff is courteous, understanding and very easy to work with on scheduling, treatment etc. After being treated by Nordik, I would never recommend at other chiropractor except this practice. Dr. G is the best! I was in the area visiting family for Thanksgiving and wanted to see if he could help me with some of the back and jaw issues I'd been having for quite some time. I'd heard good things about Gonstead so I'd figured I'd see for myself. After just one visit, my jaw is better than it's been in 10 years. Opens wider and straighter. I went back several times while here and his adjustments have already had positive effects that I can see and feel. My hip no longer pulls while walking or cycling and I no longer have any strain or aching in my back. So long story short, two thumbs way up. Not only is Dr. G super skilled at what he does, but he's personable and will make you feel totally at ease. He does serious work but doesn't take himself too seriously. Really listens to patients as well. I was so excited to get adjusted because I felt the positive effects immediately. Best money I spent while here! The free Wi-Fi in the waiting area was a nice touch too. We live in Europe, so it was nice to be able to connect while waiting. I'd recommend Dr. G's practice to anyone. Go see him! read more

I've been coming for less than two months now to see Dr. G and the lumbar and hip pain I've felt since my teenage gymnastics years is practically obsolete! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the office is clean and refreshing. Typically when choosing a professional of any sort, you have to pick two out of three: good price, expertise, or customer service. It is SO incredibly rare to find all three and yet that is what I have found in Nordik Chiropractic! Chelsea and Karen feel like old friends and are always accommodating in scheduling or providing documentation needed to bill insurance. Dr. Chris made me comfortable from the first visit. I was immediately impressed in his evaluation how he could visually see my structural abnormalities which he then corroborated with X-rays. My first adjustment felt deeply pinpointed to the exact area I chronically had pain rather than a broad adjustment. As an RN, I very much appreciate Dr. Chris' study and referral of journal articles, continuing education, and the empirical evidence he uses to practice and teach his patients. From the start to end of my care plan, my X-rays showed great improvement and I have reduced pain in all of my chronically sore areas. Additionally, my 7 year old son who was born prematurely has always had some development issues and has seen an occupational therapist for years for gross and fine motor skills. Dr. Chris was patient and fun helping my son feel comfortable before beginning treatment on him. Just in the span of 2 months, my son's coordination and writing/drawing ability has so greatly improved that his occupational therapists repeatedly state they cannot believe the improvement from week to week. My husband also after experiencing a weightlifting injury experienced immediate relief after the first adjustment and has also seen reduction in chronic pain and other ailments. Dr. Chris always says that as much as he would like to take credit for these things, it is simply allowing the body to heal itself and work as intended. I walked into his office one day very reluctant since my last experience with a less capable practitioner left me crippled for a day. I was greeted by a handsome devil wearing a big warm smile, I don't believe I was very reciprocal to his enthusiast, instead I slowly walked back to his office styling my new swagger, what I later that day learned was a tilted hip on one side, pulled bone and dropped shoulder, yes, like something out of the walking dead. Little by little the devil faded away and he became more like an angel. Only a few sessions later I started to get my sexy back.
