I first called True Vine on a day when I had nowhere else to turn. I was in 10/10 pain. After doing virtual reality boxing, I completely misaligned my lower back. Two discs shifted and were pinching nerves. I couldn't sit. I couldn't lay down. I couldn't move without excruciating pain. I was 28 years old and six months away from my wedding -- and I genuinely thought I might not even be able to have my first dance. Dr. Kevin was in Costa Rica at the time, but the staff immediately stepped in. Dr. Marisol was slammed, yet Tirsa -- by the grace of God -- got me in that same day and took my X-rays. I couldn't move even an inch in any direction. I couldn't extend my neck back at all. Little did I know, my life was about to change. After my first adjustment, I felt hope. I developed intense chest pain and could barely breathe -- literally one second in, one second out. For someone who normally has strong lung capacity, that felt suffocating and terrifying. Not being able to breathe is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Dr. Kevin adjusted me, and when it didn't immediately resolve, I did end up in the ER just to be safe. But the following Monday, I went straight back to True Vine. Dr. Kevin spent so much time with me -- explaining everything, working meticulously, adjusting thoroughly. He truly went above and beyond. After that second visit, I was 90% better. A few days later -- 100%. Breathing naturally. Freely. Fully. I was in tears. You cannot put a price on being able to breathe. And beyond those two major moments, my life has changed in ways I didn't expect: - My PCOS symptoms have healed. - My vision has improved. - My mood improved so much that I've been able to get off some medications. - My most recent X-rays show over 50% structural improvement. I came here about a year ago for an adjustment (nothing too serious, just some tightness and…read moremoderate upper back pain) when I initially moved down to the Palm Beach Gardens area. Several hours after my first (and final) visit, I truly wish I hadn't. I have always been skeptical of chiros. Chiropractors are not required to hold a medical degree, hence many are not doctors. The one I saw did not seem very experienced, especially after the intense pain and immobility I suffered shortly after my visit. When I arrived, my immediate intuition was, "Dang, this place is run down, I hope this isn't a reflection of how my appointment will go." Additionally, all the chiropractors pictured on the wall in the waiting room were no longer practicing at this location, nor were there any photos of the chiropractor I was about to see. Although the lady that adjusted me was very kind and amicable, she had a great deal of trouble 'releasing the tension' of my upper back. She had to try several different methods, and her final method partially worked (for a very short period of time before getting worse). She eventually had to grab me from behind and pick me up, essentially bobbing me up and down. When I had found a good chiro later on, he explained her method was a very generalized one. When I asked if she needed to take x-rays, she told me that wasn't necessary. Hours later, I was about a 6 out of 10 on pain. When I came in, I was a 3 out of 10, at worst. As the days went on, it became so bad I could barely get out of bed. Finally, I decided to go and give another chiro a try. This time, I really did my research on the specific chiro, and not simply the practice. As I was walking to my car to drive to the new chiro, I had to stop several times, almost falling over due to the immense amount of pain and shockwave feelings going through my back. It was one of the most unbearable pains I have experienced. Several weeks later, I reached out to the owner of the practice to explain my issue, as well as request a refund (I figured this is the very least they could do for causing more of an issue, and I wasn't about to go back and see the same chiro or office that put me in this state). I was never called back as I was told I would be, nor refunded. Long story short, I highly suggest finding another chiro. And more importantly, look at the reviews and listen to word of mouth of those with a medical degree. They generally have a much better understanding of your body and what is going on with it.

Patient beware. This person is in my network of federal blue cross blue shield. My copay is $30…read more Part of the office visit, aka what my insurance covers is an "exam". They want to charge another $80 out of pocket on top of what my insurance pays and my copay for an "exam". So first visit they try and charge you $110 instead of the $30. Which sounds pretty sketch and pretty unethical but I guess they've been getting away with it....‍. I am a nurse taking care of Americas veterans, breaking my back, not getting paid a livable wage by the government and they want to come try and stick their greedy hands into my empty pockets when they should just be taking the hundreds of dollars insurance is paying them plus my copay. This has a real double dip feel to it. Unless they are giving out happy endings after the visit, I cannot fathom how you can charge the insurance for an office visit/exam and also charge the patient an exam fee. It definitely has a real fraudulent feel to it. You took my insurance info weeks in advance. Therefore you knew what was covered and what my copay was. I wasn't a walk-in where you can justify the out of pocket charge. If what you claim was factual, you wouldn't have tried to charge me out of pocket for that visit plus charge my insurance for that same visit. That's insurance fraud. When I contacted my insurance company, even they said the office finding out what's covered and my copay and then charge me my copay first visit, is the correct way to do it. Other chiropractors have the ability to do this. Papa chiropractor and tidal chiropractor seem to know how to do this. So you are either committing insurance fraud by charging the patient out of pocket and also charging the insurance for the same visit, or you are too stupid to know how to properly do your job. The fees this patient should've been responsible for were my copay not my copay plus your insurance fraud out of pocket charges.
