DON'T COME, UNLESS YOU COME CORRECT BECAUSE I'M WATCHING YOU!…read more Dear New Merchants, Businesses and Others, If you don't know by now, I'm here to let you know that the city of Duluth is my adopted place of residence and I need to make sure that anyone moving in is actually going to elevate and enhance the downtown area. I love that evolution is taking place and the biggest change you will notice is the new eateries. They have recently added Dreamland barbecue, O4W and The Chocolaterie, but my favorite will no doubt be the new light Italian restaurant with the "walk-up" window. I love this concept and have been wishing for such a spot since moving to Georgia. Last night, I had the displeasure of trying 04W (Old 4th Ward) and I was not impressed in the least. I have zero tolerance for restaurants that do not season their food or have elevated price points for less than mediocre food. It was so bad that I wasn't just annoyed, I was borderline angry and actually woke up at 4 am thinking about that tragic food. I then took it one step further and actually edited my review because I just could not let it go! I have never eaten at any Dreamland so this might provide the perfect opportunity for me to do so. When I realized The Chocolaterie is the same chocolate shop that was once located in The Collection, I did not know quite how to feel. I had tried this shop before but was not pleased because the candy I purchased was not fresh and actually had to be tossed out. It was so hard that it was inedible. However, I am willing to give them another chance. I think that a chocolate shop is a very nice and much appreciated addition to the downtown area. Yes, this chocolate is crazy expensive but all fine chocolate is expensive and will cost you a major organ, just be ready and bring the card. This is the perfect treat after a nice savory dinner. Overall, I am just very pleased with the new options for eating because they were sorely needed. The one thing I really appreciate about the recent changes is that they did not forget to address the street and traffic. As you enter town from 120 or turn onto 120 from Lawrenceville Street, you will notice the new wider road that is going to be very helpful in better managing traffic in the area. I welcome all of the recent changes and can't wait until all is completed so that I can come down for dinner and a show. I welcome all of the new businesses but please come correct and don't destroy my Mayberry! Can someone please direct the manager of 04W to the local H-Mart so that he can get some fresh herbs and seasonings? Thank you!

Never got a call back I even e-mailed the specified -E-mail designated by the receptionist. When I finally went in person, Ms. Ward told me to my face I never called. She asked what place of buisness I needed the permit for I told her and she automatically "without looking or searching" told me it wasn't within city limits. Didn't know she had a computer for a brain! If she would have just called me back in the first place I wouldn't have wastes my time. Worst civil service ever! Sincerely- the girl that did call you. Lazy! I swear.

I surprised my hubby at the Atl location on Friday the 3rd. Yes this was on his bucket list and we…read morereally enjoyed ourselves!!! Starting it off, it was really hard tryna find the location, followed by tryna find the "entrance" once in the garage despite the green neon signs with arrows that got you questioning what it says. Yes drive to what appears to be a black gate/wall, it will rise up once ur close enough SMH. The lady was super nice, thorough, and clear in the information she provides. We had nvr driven one, so it was loud, bumpy, appeared slow when driving in the city. But once you open it up on the highway and feel the power, BABY, it's amazing!!!! Of course we in Hot Lanta so I'm sooo glad we had the rooftop. Our cell phones were even over heating. So don't lay it in the cup holder or the surface made for ur phone to sit. The engine temp was always displayed and stayed at 210-214 degrees So you know it was a scorcher. 10-4pm drive around the city and mountain areas was really nice. It kept raining unfortunately and it cooled the engine but we were soaked. Do we pull over, do we keep driving. Couldn't find the indicator to let us know the skid prevention was activated despite engaging the button. So that was scary on a 3 wheeler in the rain. That was one thing that wasn't discussed that I encourage you to ask. We couldn't tell if the way it drove was normal or not. Occasionally smelled the brakes, but they worked great. The Bell Mountain gps took us to a gated community and not the mountains. Could not find it with apple gps. SMH. So we just enjoyed the road and scenery. Checking back in was smooth and the lady was engaging and pleasant. I wish they would let you park for free and not have to pay the $40 for parking since we are doing business with them. This is indeed a very expensive activity, and well worth every penny!!! Big shoutout to the phone personnel, maybe Kim???, that was super nice in helping me make my reservations and making sure I had a rooftop. I really appreciate you walking me through everything. And to the nice lady checking us in and out, thank you for ur pleasant personality and the help you provided as well. Pleasant and nice personnel makes a huge difference for businesses and I'm so appreciative of you ladies.

i HAVENT PERSONALLY RENTED FROM THIS BUSINESS. I will say that the customer service is NOT good!…read moreOne of North Atlanta Slingshots customers totaled my parked vehicle in November 2025! Of course I did police report, the customer who was visibly intoxicated, sat with me for an hour waiting for the cops, then she drives off 10 minutes before the cop pulls up!! Of course, its a hit & run now! so, I reach out to the business about the situation. They (Shawn) has been NO help at all. When I spoke with (Shawn) he tells me, "None of our vehicles has been reported damaged". What type of business do y'all have going on???? I have gotten lies that he has contacted their insurance company & their insurance company will reach out to me. It's been since November 2025; NO ONE HAS CONTACTED me. I WOULD DEFINETLY NOT RECOMMMEND this business!! WHY ARE YOU EVEN IN BUSINESS???? The lack of assistance when your vehicle has caused someone else issues, speaks VERY LOUD-UNPROFESSIONAL, ILLEGAL, DISREPESCT

Let me put it this way: Every city should have a Buford Highway. All along this road for miles, you will find one plaza after another filled with all kinds of Latino, Asian, Indian, European goodies and so, so much more. El Rey is a great taco shop, Sweet Hut has lovely bubble tea and pastries, and Bismillah is awesome for curry, and that is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. You could spend a year driving up and down this road and never eat at the same place for dinner twice. Oh and don't get me started on the delicious Crawfish Shack, which sells the cheapest and most delicious Cajun style crawfish in the area, despite being Vietnamese rather than from the Bayous of the Deep South. You might see me in the Buf along this highway. It's so awesome I always want to get naked.
