I asked him a hundred questions that had nothing to do with drywall, and he answered every one of them -- patiently, in plain language, knowing full well I wasn't going to be a paying customer. He pointed out a few things I hadn't thought to look at. Not once did he make me feel small for not knowing. You could tell he wasn't doing it for the job. He was doing it because that's who he is, and because he could tell I was a little over my head. In my experience that's rare anywhere, and rarer in the trades, where it's easy to take advantage of someone who doesn't know what they're looking at. Jim did the opposite. Extremely difficult to schedule an estimate…read more I called in late March and was told to wait for the owner/estimator to call back for an appointment several weeks later in mid to late April. No one ever contacted me. I called twice again in late April. First time no one picked up the phone or responded to my voicemail. Three days later I called again and the receptionist would not connect me directly to the estimator so several phone calls were exchanged. In the end, only 1 appointment time was offered to me 9:30am and I asked to move it earlier to 9am since there were no appointments before me and I needed to attend a 10am work meeting. I was told nope. I gave up because it's hard to work with inflexible unresponsive people.

I returned after they left a few days later and saw that one walls was not painted, there were spots that were missed, and they hadn't taped around certain areas (like light switch panels), as the paint didn't match, and it looked a bit messy.
