Dishonest and awful. Overall they have no accountability, lack of professional customer service,…read moregodawful diagnostics, and abysmal integrity. To be precise, my mother went in to have my brother's Switch repaired, which to anyone obvious it's a USBC-Port issue which Google claims UBreakiFix can in fact fix - they don't ask any questions, plug a chip into the device, claim it's the battery, then take the device. She paid 140, wasn't even called that the repairs were done, then after picked up and plugged in at home, the Switch still doesn't work. She calls, no refunds, they tell her they can't do USBC repairs, which is absolutely ridiculous. Instead of offering at least half the 'repair' price back or the entire thing free of charge since they didn't even fix the issue, they simply say 'no can do'. These guys could've at least tested after 'repair' that the battery was even the issue and gave a call and stated so, even directed us to another place that has people who do microsoldering to fix the issue, because the issue CAN be fixed - they either don't have anyone with the knowledge to do the repair or quite frankly, they enjoy ripping people off. Multiple negative reviews that exist about UBreak follow this trend, so our fault I guess, but DO NOT take your devices here if you want honest work done. These guys will rip you off; fail to fix the issue, do nothing, pretend to be courteous in a response to their negative review, and overall fail to make up for their shortcomings. DO NOT take your devices here.

There were no warning symptoms or messages. As luck would have it it was 3 weeks out of warranty. I spent an hour on the phone with the manufacturer 's Tech Support troubleshooting and trying to restart it. I could hear Windows 10 coming back up but couldn't see a thing; not a glimmer, flicker or squiggle of light on the screen. The only physical support/repair offered was via mail to the vendor and then forwarding onto manufacturer for repair in 7-10 business days with an estimated cost of $510 + shipping, handling and insurance. Hell, I could buy a refurbished one for that without the additional hassles. I literally spent part of the night searching for a local repair guy. Called mid-morning, spent 15 minutes talking to Alex about my ill Zenbook and arrived at 2 possibilities and repair costs for each option if needed. I had an appointment for 2 PM and was out of there 45 minutes later for way less than $100 with a clean, WORKING Zenbook and a 60 day warranty. Alex knows his stuff, delivers AWESOME honest, good workmanship at a very reasonable cost without BS or the run around I got from the manufacturer. YES the Yelp reviews steered me to him!

I agreed to his price, and he knew what help we needed. Alex was a no-show. I was worried and called a few times. No reply back. I waited for a couple of hours in case there was a good reason and because I had waited several days to get this work done. I even called later in the afternoon to give him a chance to let me know what happened. Several calls into him without the courtesy of a return call. That all happened six days ago, so no excuses at this point. Meanwhile, I lost valuable time. And need to schedule someone legit to come out and help. Someone late who does not offer an apology does not return a call, does not bother to clean up his mess, and wastes your time (and money) is not worthy of your business or consideration. Meanwhile, there are a couple of legit computer experts with professional approaches to helping others and earning their fees. Alex P. from SpringGeek is not one of those people. Call Compu10 or Techno Guy Computer. Anyone but Alex and SpringsGeek. Or even buy a new computer, because it is gotta be better than waiting for Alex to no-show! Stay away from this bush league operator.

They had difficulty…read morerepairing it and instead of putting it back on me and saying tough luck, They shocked me in their level of customer service. The manager, Mark, immediately got involved and explained that since they could not repair it to my satisfaction they would not just replace the same kind of phone, but upgraded me to an iPhone eights plus and as a bonus for the inconvenience of being without my phone, Mark increased my memory from 32 MB to 64 MB. The screen is bigger, with a brand new battery, twice the memory and is easier to use and view. When is the last time you receive this kind of legendary Customer Service? Me? Maybe in the 50s! LOL. They do so much more than just batteries, so if you need any kind of technical service provided, head straight down to batteries plus on Austin Bluffs Parkway and if there's a problem, talk to Mark, the manager - he will make it right.

While I wasn't sure of the exact name of the cable (which turned out to be a USB to Mini-B), I brought my old cord with me as a reference. When I asked an employee at the front of the store for assistance, I was directed to a couple of general areas where the cable might be located and was left to search on my own. Unfortunately, I initially purchased the wrong cable. After testing it in my vehicle and confirming it wasn't the correct one, I returned to the store and asked for help again. I was once more directed to the same section without any hands-on assistance. Eventually, I was able to locate the correct cable myself, and I appreciate that Best Buy had the item in stock and the price was reasonable. However, I was disappointed that, despite the store being relatively empty and my explaining that I was in a hurry since they were closing soon, I was unable to get direct assistance from staff on either occasion. Overall, I would give three stars for product availability, but only two stars for customer service.

The call center (over seas no less) told me that the warranty I purchased from Best Buy will not provide any repair services until the 1 yr Samsung warranty has run. They gave me the "Customer Service" number for Samsung (which is closed) and I have to have the TV serviced through them. Wish they had told me how this works up front. Now I have to deal with Samsung to get a repair. This is non-sense. Why did I pay Best Buy nearly $200.00 for a warranty that does not kick in until Samsungs's warranty expires. I suspect I will be without my TV for quite some time. Completely unacceptable!
