I was in the International Baccalaureate program while I was here and I took additional AP courses as well. It was intense, challenging and a lot of work. Though at the time I hated it, it really did prepare for me for college, and earned me a lot of scholarship money as well. The diversity at Springbrook was something that I have now realized was a blessing to grow up around (after attending college in Miami and seeing how people there have no understanding of true diversity.) There was never a shortage of diverse racial and ethnic groups at SHS and we actually interacted with each other....get that! LOL. I've heard quite a few whispers that it's changed a lot since I've graduated and not in a better way but I can't speak for that....I just know that SHS provided me with an experience not too many of my peers have been able to receive. I'm a proud Blue Devil for life.

The 2011-2012 years was the peak of this school. The basketball team were 3 peat champion, teachers were good, and student life was balanced. I have a sister who graduated in 2016 & a cousin who graduated in 2020 at this school and it has really gone downhill. Lot of gang fights, bomb threat to this school, and the environment turning very ghetto. This place now sucks and I wouldn't send my kids here in fear for their lives.

I was apprehensive about this place at first due to the location. However, after meeting Dr. Crump and touring the center, I decided to give this place a try. I am beyond pleased with that decision. If you're looking for a place that emphasizes education, child development, administration involvement, parent engagement, safety, and most importantly discipline, this is for you.

Our son went…read morefrom being nervous about attending school to loving school - thanks to the amazing learning environment that Quality Time Learning Center (QTLC) creates for children. The school came highly recommended by parents whose kids (most who are now teenagers) attended QTLC. The word of mouth testimony from these different sources convinced us to give it a try and we are glad that we did! Our son did learn and grow a lot! He was always excited about his teachers (Mrs. Creek and Ms Amy) and classmates. He transitioned into Kindergarten this Summer and we are excited to see him put into practice all that he learned here (QTLC's curriculum is more advanced). We are still in touch with some of his classmates and their parents from Pre- K - thanks to the friendships cultivated here. Throughout our time at QTLC, the administrative staff and classroom teachers were very friendly and responsive. We really appreciate Mr. Crump and all the team members at QTLC. Please keep up the excellent work! God bless you all!

Lowell created an individualized learning plan that quickly helped her improve her reading and math skills. She found new confidence thanks to the caring, supportive teachers and staff. We've seen her dance in front of the whole school, perform at piano recitals, speak publicly, tryout for teams, and make many new friends. The family community is wonderful. It's the kind of school we'd been hoping to find for so long.

Lowell has done so much to support our kids academically and socially, including during the difficult pandemic years. Our boys love going to school, and they have a vocabulary to express their feelings in amazing ways. The teachers are first-rate and the small classes and first-name basis with everyone has helped our kids feel like they are part of a real community that has a set of progressive, shared values. The campus is awesome, too, from the classroom spaces to the beautiful outdoor front field and playground spaces, plus being across the street from Rock Creek park. I was a public school kid, but my wife sold me on the benefit of a K-8 school, and I'm so glad she did. We are so glad we chose Lowell, and we know our kids will see benefits from the school throughout their lives.
