We live right above the daycare so also get to see the teachers as they take the kids on outings or do outdoor dining on nice days. We know parents who commute across town to come to Prep Tiny Tots even though they've moved, since the love the daycare so much. Highly recommend! Takes ages 0-2, stop by at pickup (~8a) or dropoff (~5p) at the door all the way at the end of the ally just south of the Argyle condo building to ask about enrollment.

I was desperately looking to secure day care for my daughter after getting word of a new job. Anyone who has kids knows how hard it is to find a good one. But I had looked into this day care before and read the good reviews on yelp, so I called. I initially only wanted to know if they had space in my daughters age group. The woman who answered the phone said she didn't know and to call the director, Ms. Zaki, the next day. I did, and lucky for me (not), Ms. Zaki answered the phone. Sweet as can be, but said she couldn't talk because she was on the floor with the babies and she would call me back in 30 mins. I gave her my name and number and I basically waited by the phone. Nothing. After about 2 hrs I called back. No one answered and the mailbox was full. The next day, I called again. Nothing. Mailbox full. So my husband and I decided to drop by. Someone answered the door and I asked to see Ms. Zaki. They went to get her and came back and said Ms. Zaki was on the phone but I should write down my name and number and she would call me as soon as she was off her call. Great! I did just that and even wrote my daughters age and the date I was hoping to have her start. (I still hadn't even been told if there was availability.) I waited all day for a call. Nothing. Next day, called again. Nothing. At this point I felt it's obviously a bad sign and decided to move on with my search. The least the director could do is return calls for people inquiring about her day care. It's rude not to. At the very least, she could have told me over the phone if there was no space for my daughter. I don't know how she runs a business like this, but I'm glad I took my search elsewhere.
