The park is beautifully laid out, and all the homes are meticulously taken care of. It's in a lovely setting and just makes you feel comfortable and right at home. If you're over the age of 55 I highly recommend you check this place out.

All other parking options in the area will cause you to be towed. We didn't see any wildlife and the round trip walk only took 25 minutes so we'll finish our walk someplace else. Difficulty was easy - some slight inclines and some roots to avoid in the path. Lots of beautiful greenery.

The park has many permanent residents, spots for long-term stays like ours, and several pull-thrus for overnighters. Not easy to get a reservation but well worth it if you can. Price is very reasonable. The park is kept very clean, laundry facilities are wonderful and not too expensive ($1.25 per load washer and dryer), and there is a sweet little stream running through the park sided by a large grassy area that was wonderful for our dog to run and play. No one objected to him being off leash there, but he comes when he's called, so I'm not sure how people would react to a dog that isn't under control. There were some ducks in the stream and a little bridge that crosses it. We felt very safe here and had quiet neighbors. There was noise from Trosper Road, but not more than the usual two-lane road, and certainly better than freeway noise would be in some of the other parks. Fred Meyer, UPS/fax store, Albertson's, Wal-Mart, and Costco nearby, also gas and coffee shops and other smaller stores. We would love to have found a house in this area. Would definitely recommend this place for short- or long-term stays.

There will always be a minority of maybe 5 percent in any community (even the very expensive gated communities) that are never happy and are very negative about just anything/everyone generally and moves on/out, because they are so unhappy, as is the case with the one negative review. The best strategy is to be kind, friendly and giving no matter what this small minority does, because that drives them up the wall. In other words, treat others as you want to be treated.

It's so pleasant to walk in to our community center now and feel like we belong, we are welcomed and encouraged to have fun things going on each week.
