From the guys that bought you Shanghai Street dumplings, this place is supposed to be famous for their SuZhou noodles.
We ordered their spring onion oil noodles, which is very very tasty but be mindful that it IS quite oily.
We also ordered their deep fried fish which you can eat as a whole. The batter has bits of seaweed in it which was delicious. My friend thought that it was slightly too fishy but I quite like it.
Most surprising was the XLB. It was plump and juicy. I know these guys are from Shanghai St but I didn't expect their XLB is good. I haven't actually been to Shanghai St but my friend said that the XLB at Noodle Wizard is actually BETTER than Shanghai st! Wowsers that's a big claim!
We were a bit mystified though about the lack of vinegar and condiments, and it turns out it was self service. Just wish they had told us that! read more
