Quick service and food is super awesome…read more It wasnt plan to have a quick lunch here, because we are not hungry, since the restaurant was full, and waitress was showing a promotional flyer, lunch special for 9.90 with soft drink, we were thinking that the portion will be adjusted according to the price. We were very happy with the size meal that we received, just enough for us, perfect size! Chicken pad see ew was so delicious, not to sweet and chicken was so tender. Tom yum fried rice was presented nicely, with the muscles as the garnished. Prawns, squid and chunks of of cut salmon was added in this fried rice, I can't complain. Some more the bangkok style lemon grass pork chop Is so addictive, pork is tender and flavour just burst in your mouth, on top of that sunny side up egg and side jasmine rice just make this dish is the one that I'll come back for.

Quite empty, slow service, but friendly, and great food so.. can't complain too much. I actually didn't get to try their curries though. I really liked their raw options.. Salads are usually a staple in thai food: but it wasn't bad, but I felt like, it wasn't worth it here except for maybe the shrimp one in the martini glass.

The special price of $3 a plate was a good deal and the staff were very friendly all saying hello and goodbye! For people who don't like sitting on stools there are booths and tall chairs along with a menu of ordering your own sushi if you don't want to stand at the train of sushi. The shop does not look that appealing while in Westfield, though there tends to be a popular demand any time of the day. Great range on the menu are from 9$-15$ and taste simply great. I went to this restaurant over a month ago and only remember one thing about it - the fried ice-cream had been fried for too long that the insides had half melted. Utter sadness to end the meal. I'm sure it must've been a one-off but just be careful all you fried ice-cream lovers out there! So I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and award them a 3/5. I'm so nice!

For starters we got the Satay chicken and money bags. The money bags had a lot of coconut in it but still tasty. For mains we got the Chicken pad se ew, Beef masaman curry, Beef oyster sauce and the Chicken satay stir fry all to share among 4 people. Overall, all dishes were quite tasty. Especially the Masaman beef so tender! Service was good and i had the ping pong cocktail with lychees and that was sweet and not too strong alcohol wise and so it complemented the meals.

Good sushi here at Sushi Dragon in Gymea. It's convenient, fast & affordable…read more While Gymea is a new location for this chain, the store itself has an element of appearing disorganized & this seems to translate into the staff who often appear out of their depth. Phone-in orders here can be a bit of a language barrier minefield, but once you navigate this their sushi is pretty good. The sushi train is also a convenient option should you choose to dine in. Good stuff.

While I have never actually visited this restaurant, I have gotten takeaway from it before! One of…read morethe most delicious Thai restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing (in some sense :P) The stir fry vegetables were incredibly delicious, and the coconut green curry was creamy as well! The curry puffs were the winner though, crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and potato-filled inside! One thing? When this restaurant says 'hot' they mean hot. My lips and tongue were numb after eating the super spicy meal. I'm Indian - I usually handle my spice so you know I am saying something here!

I couldn't decide on a restaurant for my birthday this year but knew that I wanted something in the…read moreHills District, where my parents are based. My brother recommended this Thai restaurant, tucked into a quiet street, off the main Old Northern Road. I booked a table for six without any problems, and a delightful evening ensued. The restaurant is quite posh and spectacularly lit, with cool lounges and booths. The food is as impressive as the decor, and the service attentive and efficient. We started with a couple of platters of mixed entrees (dim sims, satay sticks, curry puffs, spring rolls) which arrived quickly and were devoured just as quickly. In fact, my dad, who stepped out for a moment to grab the camera from the car, almost completely missed out on the starters (I think we left him a dumpling). We soon wished we had slowed down a little because it was time for the mains. I wasn't the one who ordered but it seems like we got a bit of everything-every time I looked up, a waitress came over with yet another delicious beef, chicken or seafood plate, or another serving of perfect fluffy rice. When everyone was so full we couldn't move, the staff knew when to give us space so I could enjoy the company of my family and loved ones (and the presents of course!). I was certainly spoilt that night-what a great find! But keep this one just between you and I ok? This is the best Thai food I have tried in the Hills area. I recommend BYO for group celebrations so you can reserve your hard earned cash for those scrumptious dishes.
