Seafood ramen

The food was great! We ordered a bit of everything, ramen, pho, sushi and poke and it was all chefs kiss. Portions are very generous as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Seafood pho, separated for takeout

I ordered takeout from Noodle King and it was delicious! The potstickers were delectable, and the Pho was perfectly separated for takeout. The broth and veggies were in the lower bowl with an insert the contained the seafood. The additional sauces and shoots were in a separate container to ensure they didn't get soggy. I ordered the seafood pho and it was excellent. Highly recommend!

We stopped here on our way to Cleveland. Easy access and cute signage. We were seated right away and offered a drink. This was our first time being here and i was well pleased. The spring roll and dumplings were yummy. Crunchy and full of flavor. We got the seafood Ramon and R1. The flavors were amazing and even though i was full i felt light leaving. Also the bathrooms were clean and smelled wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Seafood Ramen and Fatty Beef Ramen!

The food was great, high quality and flavorful. Our server Tyler was so sweet! Very reasonably priced too.

I ordered the seafood pho and it was really good. My daughter ordered the tonkatsu ramen, I liked that even more. They have excellent service and the atmosphere is very clean and open. We will be back regularly!

Spicy tuna roll, seafood ramen bowl.

The interior setting was decent. I ordered sushi from Sakura next door, they have a door between the two restaurants so you can order sushi and ramen. The sushi was good, better than just average. I also ordered the seafood ramen, and it was boring. The ingredients seemed fresh, but the chicken broth was just ok. The only thing that really stood out to me were the scallions on top, the rest was just plane Jane to me. The best thing I could say is that the food wasn't nasty, the environment was good, but it was just meh all together.

Yum!

Mediocre food, great affordable prices for Cuyhoga Falls…read more No frills restaurant experience. Basic seating inside and bathroom is clean. Ramen is very average and same with fried chicken. Broth was not rich in flavor unlike other ramen places. Char siu too fatty for me. Fried chicken was also very greasy unlike tonkotsu should be. I'll update this review when I get a chance to try the curry / don bowls. 3/5 stars for now

I looked up there menu before going there so I could decide what I wanted to get and i decided to order the Torikatsu Ramen which is 鸡排拉面 Fried chicken served w.chicken broth ramen noodle, topped w.scallions, corn, cilantro, broccoli, kikurage mushroom onion and boy can I say it was really delicious and I had a can of diet Pepsi with it. The customer service was amazing as well and they were very helpful and they were extremely quick I ate there and I think I waited maybe 5 minutes for my Ramen. The price of the food is also amazing for my Ramen and diet pepsi it came out to under 15.00. And you get alot of food. The ambiance of the store was decent I think they took over where Jimmy johns used to be at because they are located in between play it again sports and Panera Bread. I did enjoy all of the decor though. Overall this place is amazing and I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Funny Noodle is. Rather new spot in Downtown Akron. It is located were El Gato was (RIP Disco…read moreFries). My daughter and I stopped in to try the Ramen. I order the Funny Chicken Ramen Noodles, my daughter ordered the Spicy Dan Dan and we split the Veggie Bahn Mi. My daughter really enjoyed her noodles. She said they were spicy but tasty. We both enjoyed the Veggie Bahn MI. It was flavorful and fresh! I would definitely get that again. My Funny Chicken Ramen noodles lacked flavor. The fried chicken on top was good, but of course got soggy on top of the soup. Now that the location is a noodle spot rather than a taco spot, I think that the decor should be updated to enhance the experience. Since it is rather newish to the location, I will probably go back again to see if things are better after it get settled.

They have a good selection of pho, ramen, and appetizer dishes. The brussel sprouts were very delicious. They were crispy and had a nice flavor. The ramen on the other hand didn't have much flavor to it. I did get the vegetarian option which I believe tend to be less flavorful, however this was surprisingly plain. Not a bad dish, but will probably get something different if I happen to go again. Since this is a new spot, I'm optimistic that they can improve moving forward. Definitely check out and support this business if you are in the mood for noods.

Overall: It's so nice to have a quality ramen place in the canton area. The seating area is cute…read moreand not super over crowded. The ramen deal with an appetizer was well priced! I liked how much food you got and how you had a few options to choose from. Food: * pineapple passion mojito - 5/5 absolutely DELICIOUS. It was a perfect drink to have with dinner. It was light and refreshing with just enough sweetness. * chicken and pork bao - 4/5 super yummy! I actually liked the pork more than the chicken. It was almost like a buttery taste. It was soft and the meat just fell apart. The chicken was good too but was more on the tough side, probably because it was fried. * spicy beef ramen - 5/5 I will absolutely be back to get this again. Just the right level of spice. All the ingredients were fresh, well made, and delicious. It's the type of food that you can't help eating more of even though you're beyond full. * crispy chicken ramen - 3.5/5 This was still a good choice! I loved the chicken in it. I think this is a very safe choice for anyone who might be on the more picky side. The broth was good but not spicy. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! There are so many options and there is something for everyone to try.

When getting carried out they packed the ingredients separately from the broth which I loved. We got the spicy on the side and I was so glad we did because in my opinion it packed heat. The spicy is like chili crunch oil . Prices were average , I believe probably on par with other ramen spots . My husband teriyaki tom broth has a delicate thickness to it. We both said both broths felt rushed. They weren't really savory and tasted bland, and underdeveloped. It has a good beginning/starting flavor but should have shimmered longer. Not the best ramen or worst ramen. Simply in the middle. We ordered carry out so I can't speak to the service or overall atmosphere. The restaurant was clean inside and front cashiers were nice! We also ordered the creme brûlée Thai tea it was delicious!!!

I think the restaurant portion of this place gets about a 1-2 star but the market portion was…read moreactually pretty nice with fresh produce, fruits and unexpired snacks, desserts, dry goods. So my food experience was probably more of a 1 but if you get to stop by their market, I was happy with the goodies and groceries I found. Like a couple of people said, this place was haphazardly run for sure. There was only one worker for the market and the restaurant. Even though there was only 1 other table of people plus my party (4 people), it seemed to be too much to handle for the 1 worker. Service was super slow, he couldn't really answer any questions and nothing really met expectations. The menu was the worst one I had ever seen in terms of misspellings and wrong pictures and inaccuracies and I'm comparing it to other Asian menus that tend to get some typos every once in a while. This menu never had one complete line without a couple of typos...which, you know, if the description and picture were accurate enough, it still wouldn't have mattered. There were multiple pictures of their pad thai dish that looked like a thin eggy crepe on top of stir fried noodles--extremely appetizing. Server said off the bat that nope, the dish does not look like that at all. Okay...fine but then please get a different picture. I ordered the Egg Noodles soup that clearly listed: Egg noodles with scallion, carrot, cilantro, mushroom, ground chicken, ground pork and ground beef. Literally none of those items were in my dish except for a few strips of carrot. The "egg noodles" were the cheap vermicelli clear noodles, no ground beef but really stringy, tough pieces of leftover beef and only celery pieces instead of mushrooms, cilantro, scallions. It was completely different. Server offered no explanation to the differences nor a discount or anything... Someone ordered the baso (basil) fried rice and it looked amazing. The other 2 in my party ordered chicken pad thai which looked really corn starchy and pink instead of the more natural brown sauce I'm used to at better Thai restaurants. Nope, not coming back here!

Horrible experience overall…read more We went in about 2pm on a Sunday when a lot of other restaurants were closed and there were 2 other tables in there. That's it. It looked half closed inside and was a bit in disarray. We honestly should have just left. Took forever to get a drink order placed and once we did took even longer to get it. I noticed that everyone around us got everything they ordered really haphazardly. Tables got nothing together. One person would get a drink. One person would get an appetizer. Once person would get a set of utensils. Nothing was organized. Again. Should have left. We placed our orders for 2 entrees and a sushi roll to be eaten as an appetizer along with egg rolls. Quite some time later one entree came out. No utensils, no soy sauce, no eggs rolls, no sushi. Then 5 minutes later another entree. Same issue. Then 5 minutes later the eggs rolls. Still no sushi (which was asked to be an appetizer). Finally the sushi. Still no chopsticks and no soy sauce for the sushi. Husband took ONE BITE of the sushi and realized it was bad. He sent it back. I mean, it was really bad. Rancid. They said they'd remake it. We said no. It was supposed to be an appetizer anyways and we had lost all desire to eat there now and we also didn't trust their kitchen after rancid sushi, so please refund it. They agreed. They gave us the wrong check. A cheaper one for a different table. I was trying to be honest so I told them. They got mad at me. The owner started yelling at me. Literally yelling at me. What the heck?!? For being honest?!? When she finally gave me the correct receipt she refused to take off the sushi. I reminded her we sent it back because it was absolutely rancid. She started yelling louder. Screaming so loud someone who was there placing a to go order said "if you're going to treat your customers like this I'm leaving" and he left without his order. Then, this woman, the owner, has the audacity to say to me that she did not want to "serve (my) kind" (someone disabled) at her restaurant. She said disabled people were not welcome at her restaurant. (I have a service dog so it's obvious I have a disability!) I just about lost my mind when she said this. I was totally shocked by this comment. She still wanted to charge me for the rancid sushi we sent back. I refused to do so and told her that if she was going to discriminate against me I'm going to have no choice but to dispute it with my credit card because I will NOT be accused of stealing, or dine and dash, from someone who is so discriminatory, and I will NOT be charged for food that was rancid which we sent back after one bite. I stood my ground. Finally she took off the charge that she told me she'd take off always. She's a horrible business owner. She's a rude and disrespectful person and the food is disgusting. Don't go here.
