Whelp, here we are about fifteen years later and Turners in San Marcos is still one of my main…read morego-to gun stores in San Diego. I have a large gun store about five minutes from where I live but I would sooner drive to Turners to conduct business than to go to the other gun store close by. Yesterday I stopped in on our way to Temecula to do some window shopping and to look at hunting rifles for an upcoming trip. I was assisted by Amanda who has been working at this location and helping me for several years. While I was originally in the market for a new rifle after browsing the selection decided it was also time for a new field gun. Amanda helped me compare a Beretta A300 Ultima and an A400 and ultimately I decided on the A300. The price was a good price and she had a brand new one disassembled and still in the box, so after about fifteen minutes of paperwork I was on my way out of the store. The 10-day wait always seems to drag out, but I'm looking forward to picking up my new shotgun. This Turners seems to be pretty dialed in both when it comes to purchases as well as private party transfers and their selection is always well stocked. I would say Turners as a whole has a pretty respectable footprint in the hunting, fishing and firearms retail community and I like how if I know what I'm looking for that I can rely on Turners to carry it and that their employees will always make sure I'm taken care of as a consumer.

Never buying from Turners Outdoorsman again…read more Customer service is laughable and disgraceful. The only ffl in California that will sell you a 1600$ firearm. then refuse to help you with your warranty, or cover shipping costs. Spoke to management to see if they could help resolve my issue, and was referred to cooperate.

We purchased winter jackets, hiking pants, sweaters, and hiking boots. Thank you to Elliot and "J" for being so kind and helpful. Jasmin at the front desk was welcoming. Free parking lot.

When I first moved to San Diego, I would go to the Prana sample sales at this location. There were great deals to be had. I was sad when they ended and Columbia took over prana, but happy that I could go to the Columbia employee store again. Over the years, I've gotten some fantastic deals on winter wear. In San Diego, you'd think you wouldn't need it, but I get cold easily, and I do travel to colder climates regularly. I've purchased shoes, gifts, jackets, gloves, socks, and other items. I'm sure I'm forgetting. Everything holds up very well. On my last visit, I had a pass from AAA who was holding an event for members. Everything was an additional 20% off except sale items. I purchased a few things and on my way out met with the AAA sales people. If you keep your eye open, you can see passes come up somewhat regularly. Some sales are better than others as sometimes there's not a big discount and sometimes there is. I've been happy with all my purchases and will continue to shop here as long as I can get passes.
