This is a beautiful indoor pool facility that was recently restored. There are two large pools -…read morethe largest is kept at around 28c/82f and the smaller large pool (which is still quite big) is kept just below bathwater warmth - it's REALLY warm and you don't have to get used to the water temperature at all. There is a schedule for open swim time for the public on their website. It's around 5€ to use the pool. There are separate locker/changing rooms for men and women. Each locker room has hair dryers (1€) and lockers where you get a key in exchange for a 1€ coin that you get back, so remember your coin if you want to secure anything. The locker rooms have changing tables and wooden playpen sort of things to put your baby while you change. There are swim classes at various times during the day so it's important to understand the schedule if you want to use the pool. I've enrolled in two classes. One instructor spoke only german which is understandable. Another instructor spoke german, spanish and english. The pool facility has a website but no way to do online registration so if you plan to take a class, plan to register in person, and to get there before opening time. The queues run out the door and he wait for registration is longer than an hour. During registration, their card machine wasn't working so they were only accepting cash. All in all, it's a nice big clean pool facility but they could benefit their customers by creating online registration. After all, it's 2018. The front desk staff could also use a lesson in smiling and not being so crabby.

This man would not leave me alone until I told him I would call the police. Eventually I had to leave the locker room and dry off in the lobby area. He was that disturbing. Stadtbad Neukölln has very beautiful architecture and history but extremely disturbing visitors. I would not recommend this pool/spa for anyone. There are many other safe and cleaner spa's in Berlin. I will never go back to Stadtbad Neukölln. I highly suggest that the management at Stadtbad Neukölln please keep an eye out for people like this man.

If you find yourself waking up every day going through the same motions, packing the same PB&J for work for the 4th time that week, you my friend, have gotten boring. Comfortable. Comfortable will be the last emotion you'll feel when you're signing a waiver that reads "possible equipment malfunction which can result to fatal injuries or even death". Try uneasy, nervous, FREAKING OUT. Also, try concentrating when the handsome Friedrich straps you tightly in your harness while explaining what's about to happen in the next few minutes. The staff here are excellent at making you feel safe, even when your stomach is in knots. Then it gets real very quickly when you walk the steel plank, feel the wind in your face while you're standing on the edge of the platform. Suddenly, all those people walking around Alexanderplatz look like tiny ants. Your heart beats faster and as you summon every last bit of courage in your being, you're hoisted up by a steel cable on your back and left dangling in a superman pose long enough to realize, you could REALLY die this way, but the least you could hope for is not to sh*t your pants. Then you fall, and fall and fall through the air ... after what feels like eternity (8 seconds!!!) your feet touches the ground and you let out an excited "wohooo!!! I'm ALIVE!!" with your hands waving wildly in the air and these German boys give you a look that says "wow, Asian girls get waaay too excited." Back home, you look at your instagram photo with a satisfied smile on your face. As you bite into your PB&J sandwich for the 4th time that week, you stop and notice it tastes different. Oh yeah, I made it with almond butter today.

Customer service Hotline is only available during the week while the event is only on the weekend…read more Rescheduling is not easy if you make a reservation. But the fall itself is fun...terrifyingly fun. The guys who strap you in & manage your fall are very professional & friendly.

But as I said, I specifically came here to see the pandas, because I'd never seen one in real life. It was only after I got back home that I remembered that this was the zoo where the lady with mental issues climbed into the polar bear exhibit to swim with them. Yikes! It's a great zoo. The grounds were immaculate with wide, winding pathways. There was plenty of room indoors and out, both for the humans and non-humans. I enjoyed watching the anteater waddle around; an animal I have seen before, but my hometown zoo doesn't have one. I thought the aviary part where you walk through with the ground dwelling birds was pretty neat. My zoo has something like that, but the birds are all tree dwellers, save a few ducks. We saw the bald eagle and gave him/her a little salute, and watched as the kudu chased the ostriches. Of course, the pandas were my favorite part. The babies and mom were off exhibit the day we went, but we got to see dad rolling around the outdoor exhibit before taking a nap. The gift shop was great. It had a huge variety of souvenirs to buy, and I had a difficult time making up my mind what to get. Most of my items were panda themed, but I walked away with one or two things to remind me of the overall zoo as well. Education, conservation, preservation...this zoo has and does it all. 86/2025

In that timeframe I was not even able to make it to the aquarium. I felt like I could get so close to so many animals - there was more than enough opportunities to get photos of animals at different angles and environments. They've put a lot interesting design into the areas and buildings, giving a lot of character to the whole experience. I found it a bit hard to navigate the zoo and got turned around several times, which likely contributed to my long visit . Restrooms were also not as easily accessible , one being down a flight of stairs. Overall - well worth the money.

The coaches spoke a mix of English and German, and I could tell that the members also spoke a mix, with some fluent and some not fluent German speakers. The demonstrations were good enough it didn't matter anyways if I understand their words exactly. I also felt comfortable asking for clarification if needed. The gym is a good size - and the classes were capped probably at 12-16 to make sure there was enough space to safely do the workout. There is a bar at the front, and change room and bathrooms at the back. I signed up through Eversports app- and just showed up about 5 minutes before the workout. I told the coach I was a drop in, and that was fine. The subsequent days I actually used the waitlist feature on Eversports, before being accepted into the class, and that was pretty seemless. Overall hard, fun, well organized workouts. I'll come back next time I'm in Berlin!
