My surgeon is the Chief of Orthopedic Foot and Aankle Surgery in one of the top ten hospitals in the country. He said, this was one of the worst crushed heels he had ever seen. He said that after he scheduled a two-hour surgery, and it ran something over four hours. There were serious questions as to how well I'd be able to get around, and most likely would require a cane forever. I'm 79 years old, and on Medicare. I began my physical therapy in February 2023. In working with Evolution Physical Therapy and more specifically Nolan Rufa, I went from a state of crutches and limping into their facility, to now walking pretty well and have achieved about 70% of normal. Together, we established and achieved all the goals we set. My current goal is to achieve complete stability. At that time, I expect to be at 80% of normal, at which point it may be time to declare victory. So far, I've had about 120 sessions, some more grueling and painful than others. Nolan was very patient with me as I'm a type A and not particularly easy to get along with, especially in a difficult situation like this one. Over the past 21 months I've had an opportunity to observe others receive physical therapy. Of the four or five therapists I observed on a regular basis, they all seem to have the same desire and commitment to their patients. I'm sure the small size of the facility, personal one-on-one therapy and a good selection of personnel are responsible for my success. Boy did I get Lucky, no cane. Thanks Nolan.

After arthroscopic surgery on my right knee decades ago, I slowly became more and more sedentary over time despite a brief period of training for the occasional fun run or half marathon. My range of motion suffered over time too. Now, I'm done with that, wanting to make every day to be as active and pain free as possible. Kristina listens carefully. She is very professional and, most importantly, effective. She is knowledgeable and experienced, knowing exactly what exercise will strengthen and correct the habits we may have fallen into. After a few weeks, I can already see (and feel!) the results of Kristin's excellent care!

The whole process far exceeded my expectations, as I am 76, and did not know how it was all going to end up. My strength and range of motion is almost back to where it was before my injury. Everyone at Innovative is very professional and cannot speak highly enough about Ralph and all of his team.

My lead therapist is Alexander Torres who is an exceptionally bright and very kind young man. My parents were both physicians and they taught me a lot about medical care, and Alex possesses so many of the crucial qualities a great doctor should have, which makes him an outstanding example of the BEST in his work. INNOVATIVE is truly blessed to have him as therapist, leader and a friend on their wonderful team. Another therapist, Nick Guarcello, an associate with Alex, has also worked hard to improve my condition and his medical knowledge and kind, cheerful personality have been essential in my progress. Also, Andrew DeFranco, an aide to Alex is an energetic, intelligent young man who has been available and has done a great job working on my issues. And last but not least, Christine, the sweet, very helpful receptionist is a great, very pretty asset to the image of your company. I am moving to Austin, Texas tomorrow which is a difficult change, but necessary for me, and I will truly miss INNOVATIVE and I just had to thank you and your team for your attention, expertise and medical wisdom and if I return to this area some day, I will be there right away. Best of luck, great success, and much love to you and your outstanding company and its members.
