Maybe the fact that it was 3am and I was starving made it even better, but by God I'm going to be in trouble if I can stuff one of these into my mouth anytime I get hungry after hours. The first thing that popped into my head was to have pizza delivered. This place was close and offered late night delivery so I placed the online order. Considering this is London they have excellent price point and delivery was quick and prompt. Having never ordered from this place before, I decided to call just to get a confirmation a short time after placing my order. A staff member who answered was super helpful and mentioned they were already on it that my order was in the oven. Sure enough, the food arrived about 30 minutes later to our hotel. Pizza was surprisingly pretty decent as I had no idea what to expect considering their price point. No issues here!

Chosen Bun is a burger take-away and delivery shop located in Fulham. Their concept is simple: do a good burger, and make sure it will still taste good after it was driven around town. To solve the challenge of transporting a burger properly, they designed special packaging. I noticed this little shop on Fulham Road one evening when I decided to walk part of my commute instead of taking the tube. And soon after that, I came back to check out their burger. The shop looks very much like a fancy fast food restaurant. Staff are very friendly and it seemed that the atmosphere in the kitchen was really good. To the food, I ordered The Shoveman, a beef burger with cheese and bacon, with Belgians, that's their chunky skin-on chips with rosemary salt. After a short while, my food was ready and handed to me in their signature packaging - I stayed in store, but it was still interesting to see what they came up with. The burger tasted pretty good. It was not too messy to eat, the juicy patty was cooked medium and the burger was full of delicious flavours. The chunky chips were okay, but I had better chips in London. They are chunky and crispy, but not all are crispy. They are finished with rosemary salt, but they are far from other rosemary chips I've tasted before. Anyway, there are still some other interesting items on the menu that I'd like to try. As of now, they only deliver to a few post codes around the Fulham area, so in case you plan to stop by to pick up your burger, Chosen Bun is roughly between Fulham Broadway Underground station and Parsons Green Underground station.

All of the dishes were presented really well and thought it was such good value for money for the quality of food we were getting. The atmosphere is nice and casual so you can grab a salad or sandwich for a quick bite if you don't want to go for a proper sit down lunch. I'll have to come back and try the salads. Lastly, we had coffee and the sweet potato muffin which was amazing. There aren't many places these days that do proper homemade goods and not the kind that is defrosted! Service was lovely throughout. When I started reviewing on Yelp years ago, I wanted to share the love of small businesses like this because we are all used to chain restaurants and coffee shops but when you find a hidden gem like this - I'm just selfish as I want to make sure I can come back again and again.
