We went to Noi on our first night staying at Hotel Mousai. The ambiance was much nicer outside on the patio, where they have just a few tables. Inside, it's a bit bright and has kind of a chain-restaurant from the 90s feel.
They started us with an amuse bouche of truffle mushrooms which were divine. I wish I'd asked for 10 more orders of it.
We then got the burrata, which all of the online reviews said was a must-get. And sure enough, it was fabulous. I'm so glad I did my research.
For the carb-y course, we shared the Burrata Ravioli and the Gnocchi, at the suggestion of our server. They were fine, but didn't dazzle, and IMO, didn't live up to their beautiful descriptions on the menu.
For the main course, we shared the steak (the one that doesn't have a huge up-charge). The steak was fabulous.
For dessert, we tried the apple cake, which is doused in Grand Marnier and served very dramatically. Lots of fire. Sadly, the cake itself just tasted like straight up booze, which kind of ruined the flavor.
Service was extremely attentive and kind. Prices are insane. I think we both had two beverages (a cocktail and a glass of wine), and our bill came out to over $300 USD, which is just nutballs. Luckily, it was included in the all-inclusive. read more
