Burrata salad
Leah G.

This review is specific to the restaurant, Noi. We loved the decor, and our waitstaff, Gerardo, Enrique, and Jonathan, were funny, kind, and patient with my attempts at Spanish. The food was phenomenal. We had pizza, fresh pasta, salad, and drinks. The pasta was very clearly made in house, and the pizza dough had a delicious, complex flavored-crust that can only be achieved through a 24 hour fermentation. The seafood risotto and the carpaccio were some of the highlights of the meal as well. Our drinks were also delicious! Our waitstaff was very attentive and overall, we enjoyed the experience immensely. We will be back!

Truffle mushroom amuse bouche- amazing!!

We went to Noi on our first night staying at Hotel Mousai. The ambiance was much nicer outside on the patio, where they have just a few tables. Inside, it's a bit bright and has kind of a chain-restaurant from the 90s feel. They started us with an amuse bouche of truffle mushrooms which were divine. I wish I'd asked for 10 more orders of it. We then got the burrata, which all of the online reviews said was a must-get. And sure enough, it was fabulous. I'm so glad I did my research. For the carb-y course, we shared the Burrata Ravioli and the Gnocchi, at the suggestion of our server. They were fine, but didn't dazzle, and IMO, didn't live up to their beautiful descriptions on the menu. For the main course, we shared the steak (the one that doesn't have a huge up-charge). The steak was fabulous. For dessert, we tried the apple cake, which is doused in Grand Marnier and served very dramatically. Lots of fire. Sadly, the cake itself just tasted like straight up booze, which kind of ruined the flavor. Service was extremely attentive and kind. Prices are insane. I think we both had two beverages (a cocktail and a glass of wine), and our bill came out to over $300 USD, which is just nutballs. Luckily, it was included in the all-inclusive.

I am currently sick from eating at this restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful and the service is great. The exchange rate they use here is lower than the national rate which is very strange. Even though the ambiance and service was good. I will never come back here to eat. I have eaten much better Italian food at my own house or in Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo.

Appetizers: Tritico Del Mar (front) and Carpaccio Albesi (back). Both were so good but the Tritico Del Mar was our favorite!

Hey there! You absolutely *have* to hear about this mind-blowing dinner we just had! We ventured…read moreout to La Capella the other night, and honestly, it wasn't just a meal; it was an entire experience, fantastic from the moment we arrived until we reluctantly left. First things first, the setting is straight out of a postcard. Picture this: you're perched high up, gazing out at this unbelievably beautiful, sparkling blue sea, with an old, quaint church adding character to the horizon. It's truly a dreamscape, especially as the sun begins its descent, painting the sky with the most incredible colors. Seriously, it's the kind of view that makes your jaw drop and your worries melt away. Pure, unadulterated magic! Our evening was made even more special by our fantastic waiter, Jarod. What a star! He was genuinely charming and incredibly attentive, always there right when we needed him without being intrusive. He kept everything running smoothly, offered great suggestions, and truly made us feel like royalty. His warmth and efficiency really elevated the whole vibe of the night. And then, the food... oh my goodness, the food! It was nothing short of culinary perfection. I couldn't resist ordering my beloved pork osso bucco again - it's become my absolute favorite there, and for good reason! It arrived unbelievably tender, practically melting in your mouth, and every bite was an explosion of rich, delectable flavors. Just as phenomenal as I remembered, if not better! Honestly, every single dish that graced our table was impeccably prepared and utterly delicious. Seriously, if you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, you *must* put La Capella on your list. And here's my golden nugget of advice: make sure to grab an early reservation. Trust me, you absolutely do not want to miss that breathtaking sunset; it transforms an amazing dinner into an absolutely legendary one. Go on, treat yourself - you won't it.

I made reservations a few weeks in advance and we were able to sit on the terrace to enjoy the views. They had live violinists (three!!) that were playing, it was so romantic. I loved the violinists, they were all so nice and friendly. I got the guava martini which was good and I ordered the spageti bolognese, which was tender and flavorful. The dish was solid with a nice presentation. They also brought out complimentary olive bread with parmesan grated cheese which was really good. The food and drinks are pricey! For the 4 of us including drinks and dinner, it ended up being almost $70 per person. Service was just okay, our waiter was a little stern and we had to flag to get his attention a few times. I would definitely come here for a special occasion, for the beautiful view and ambience.

Of course the staff did it up in style with flickering lights and what sounded like fireworks . Which in turn scared the living daylights out of me. I was ready to run out of there (this happened after a earthquake scare a few hours earlier ). Those guys came over of course when I realized what was actually happening happening I was in tears laughing so hard. Those guys were so sweet we all had a great laugh about it. I will forever be known as the lady at table 5. Or the crazy lady at table 5. Love this place so much!!!!

BEWARE FOOD POISONING!…read more Walked over here for dinner because this place is constantly recommended by people in the neighborhood. All the seating is outside, which is fine. I noticed right away that the kitchen is tiny. It made me wonder how they manage to put out so much food. Service was standard. Nothing to complain about while we were sitting there, but the aftermath was a disaster. My partner and I both got extremely sick a few hours after leaving. It was pretty clearly food poisoning, likely salmonella based on the symptoms. It is very disappointing since so many people talk this place up. I will not be going back. Would really caution and avoid if older or immunocompromised.

Luis, our server tonight was wonderful, very attentive while providing wonderful dinner recommendations. This dish is so large, the steak is large enough to share between 4 people! Cooked to absolute perfection, this medium rare piece of heaven is a MUST! Service was top-notch with just the right amount of encounters. The lovely low-light atmosphere, star lamps strung from trees growing out of the courtyard, and soft music made this a dinner to remember.
