It was a pleasure to work with Noe. He is extremely professional, resonable and proficient in his work. I would highly recommend him. He has recently demolised our backyard pool, work was done even before committed time. Quality of work is very good and after finishing the job he did proper cleaning of our back yard. He is very friendly and easy to work with. read more

I talked to a few contractors when I decided to remove my in-ground concret pool. Among them, Neo came out to be on top. He was very responsive and came to my house the same day I called and gave me his quote after explaining the entire process step by step in details. He promised to be done within a week and he did finish it in 4 days. His quote was very reasonable compared to all the quotes I received. I decided to work with him just because I felt that he knew exactly what he was talking about the project and his professionalism. A few highlights; 1. they are punctual! 2. hard working crews 3. pay attention to details (they tried their best to avoid damaging things that are not part of pool demolition - this showed they cared about the customer) 4. after the project, they cleaned up quite nicely, haul everything that I didn't want - it was like nothing had happened before except that your pool area was filled up with dirt 5. as a bonus, they fixed my old and unstable fence door - which was not part of the scope of the project All in all, I am very happy with the end result. Noe's level of expertise on this project was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you NOE! read more

Our first contact with Noe was very pleasant. He came on time and looked and talked like an expert. After interviewing some other companies, we decided to go with Noe. Since he was busy, we ended up scheduling an early November removal back in August. Noe said in the email that he was preparing a contract and would come to our house to finalize the schedule in a week. Everything went downhill after that-- contract never showed up in my email. He never showed up at my doorstep. After left several messages to his phone and sent a couple of more emails, we finally got hold of him but he lost his estimates so I had to resent it. And then he disappeared, no replies to the email and phone messages. I have never tried so hard in my life to give someone business. read more

Noe did an excellent job on my pool removal . He promptly provided a detailed and competitive quote. He explained the pool removal process very well, including the use of barrier layer to help prevent soil settling. He got the job done on time. He also worked with me to add compost to the top 12inches of the soil. My plant will good very well in it. The soil level was even with my concrete about the pool, which reduces chance of tripping! I highly recommend his company. read more

We are glad we hired Noe for our pool removal project. He really is an expert and knew what he was doing. There were no hiccups or anything unexpected. He did the permits, equipment arrived, dirt arrived on time, pool was filled up and all the mess was cleaned perfectly. Everything went like clockwork. He was very friendly to work with as well. I would strongly recommend Noe to anyone. read more

Met Noe on a Saturday to get a quote to backfill my pool. Noe came across as professional, soft spoken and friendly. Had two other quotes. His price came in the middle. I thought it was very reasonable. I am glad I decided to have Noe do the work. He was very thorough and did a great job. We found a 16" metal pipe (no city, county, utilities have any record) and it was dealt with professionally. Veronica (his office admin) was extremely helpful with this hiccup (I would say she went way beyond her scope of work to help me) and with all aspect of the job. They are a great team. No nonsense in their work ethics. I think they deserve more than a 5 star rating. Hope they continue on their path to success. I am most satisfied with the job and would recommend this family business to anyone anytime. read more

We decided to get rid of our pool after the kids stopped using it. We contacted several contractors, and had several no-shows. Noe showed up at the time agreed, offered very useful information, and submitted a very economical bid. The construction went flawlessly, and we sailed through the inspections (despite being in Los Gatos.) In fact, as the inspector was walking out with Noe, they were talking about getting rid of his pool! read more

NOECON completed a full removal of our large swimming pool early this month. We were extremely impressed with the non-stop hard work that Noe did during the project as well as his customer service. He aims to please. Day 0-- the pool was drained Day 1-- after Noe got permits for the project he started the demolition of the pool Day 2-- the concrete decking around the pool was pulled out and broken up Day 3-- the broken up pool and deck were removed and Day 4-6 filling the hole with loads and loads of soil Day 7-8-- removal of the pool equipment and clean up. Noe does all of the demolition himself. (He had a helper on days when he was filling the hole. ) The project was done quickly because Noe worked effciently over long hours with few breaks, including on a Saturday. Some details you should be aware of if you are thinking of a project like this. Even though the the machinery used is relatively small, this project is VERY noisy. In order to access the work site, the very heavy equipment is almost certain to damage existing landscaping and/or irrigation plumbing. In our case, Noe limited the collateral damage, though it would have been nice to know about this in advance. (We had irrigation plumbing that was not buried deep enough to be safe from the project.) Summary-- NOECON's price was competitive and we are extremely pleased with the result. We would not hesitate to recommend NOECON to friends. read more

Thank you Noe and crew for making our pool removal process a smooth one. We appreciate your professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. Having a pool removed can definitely be a stressful experience if not handled properly, fortunately Noecon made our experience a positive one. Now we can move forward with the landscaping with peace of mind that the land we'll be landscaping on was done right! Highly recommend Noecon if you are considering removing your pool. Thanks again Noe!! read more

NOECON just finished the complete removal of our pool. Like a few other reviewers here, in order for us to expand or build on the site in the future, a full removal and soils/engineer report was required. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Noe and his crew do top-notch work. Veronica is the point person and is responsive, thoughtful, and professional. The quote was very reasonable, and NOECON took care of everything - permits, soils testing/engineers report, etc. Fill-in exceeded compaction requirements. A real pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!!! read more

We wanted to close the swimming pool in our home because our children grew up and we don't use it very much. This year, with electricity and water restrictions, we decided to demolish the pool and use that space for a backyard garden. We got 5 quotes from different people. We talked to various people and checked out YELP reviews and though all the people who gave quotes are highly rated, we were impressed by Noe. His quote was not the lowest but I felt that he was sincere, knew what needs to be done and was available for the dates that we want. He did an excellent job overall. His two people were hard workers, very helpful and knew what they were doing. With minimal damage to the ground that they were moving Bobcats, they completed the job thoroughly and within time. IN addition, when i asked them to cut the concrete around the pool, they came up with a design that will match other parts of the concrete and I was impressed. Finally, when they had to put some wood around a tree and steps in the back yard, they replaced the old wood and put in some concrete to make sure what they do is excellent job. It was much above and beyond what is expected. To summarize, Noe and his people were professional, on time, did excellent job and went above and beyond the contract to keep me happy. They were very nice people to deal with and yesterday Noe waited for 2 hours for the San Jose Inspector to come and certify the project. I would highly recommend Noe -- In fact, he epitomized quality, customer service and timeliness that I talk about in my business classes. Way to go Noe! Noecon removed our pool and regarded our back yard. Noe was very professional and responsive. I was impressed that he took the extra time to lift our fence out of the ground so we kept the full post so it would be sound in the future. They have notifications that you can give your neighbors for noise. We had quotes from five different companies and he was by far the most professional, took measurements during the quote and had a clear plan. They didn't have separate up charges like others, everything was clear all the way through. They also took care of the gas and electric themselves instead of subbing it out to others. I hope I don't have to deal with removing a pool again but if I did Noecon would definitely be the first (and now only one) I would call. read more

Noe and his crew made my pool removal process a smooth one. They demolished and filled in pool, then graded my lot in the winter of 2017. Rain added delays, but Noe worked when it was possible. The work was very well done and I am very happy with the project. It was a pleasure to work with Noe, he is very knowledgeable and had suggestions to make things better. He explained the process very well and did what he said he would do. I am very satisfied at the end of this project and will recommend Noe to anybody needing this type of work done. He was great to work with. Thank you, Noe! read more

I am more than happy with the work that was performed by Noe for our pool removal project. He was removing a pool in our neighborhood and we decided to talk to him about having our pool removed as well. Right away we could tell he was extremely knowledgeable and it was very easy to speak with him. Noe took care of everything from getting the permits to removing all of the waste from the pool. I could honestly say this was the most hands-off I've ever had to be with a contractor. Throughout the process Noe was very professional and was always available to explain to us the progress and next steps. When the pool was fully removed he spent almost an entire day cleaning the driveway, street, and backyard. We almost could not tell that a project had even occurred. I highly recommend Noe for your pool removal project. read more

Noe and team demolished and removed my swimming pool in the summer of 2015. The work was very well executed and the removal was completed on schedule. Noe was very good to work with. He explained the process very well and did what he said he would do. He does most of the work himself. Overall, very satisfied at the end of this big project. Thank you, Noe! read more

After 36 years having great times using our 40 foot pool, we decided to remove the pool and enjoy a new landscaped backyard. We selected Noe, the owner of Noecon General Engineering Contractors for many reasons, 1) Noe is on the job full time everyday and, 2) his bid was less than the others. Noe did a great job in a very difficult access to our backyard. He was very professional and was a pleasure working with him. They cleaned up after each day and even power washed the street. I would recommend Noe for your pool removal read more

When I decided to remove our back yard pool I researched contractors the best I could. I was impressed with the YELP reviews for Noe. He seemed like a relaxed and capable person when he came to the house to give me the estimate. I felt comfortable speaking with him and I knew I could work with him. His bid was right in the middle of the three contractors I called. I had no idea the process would involve anything more then filling in the pool with dirt. However, before we were finished he found a gas line problem that had existed for years despite three other contractors coming to the house to install a gas cooktop, a tankless hot water heater and a new HVAC system. They were all licensed and everyone of them used this same unsafe cobbled together gas line. Of course nothing was said to me about not following building codes! Noe repaired the problem in order for the project to pass inspection. As a general contractor he can work with electric, gas and plumbing problems. The gas line fix was done at no additional cost to me. Noe originally told me the job to fill in the pool would take 4 - 5 days. As he was finishing the job on day 3, well in advance of 5 days, water started to flow from a spot in the parking strip into the street and down the storm drain. After digging quite deep into this area of the parking strip, Noe discovered the water was leaking from the main water line to my house! Apparently this "pipe" original to the property from 1968 had a slow leak from the cement patch used to connect to pieces of the pipe that had been damaged sometime in the past!!! A cement patch! I couldn't believe it! But I saw it with my own eyes. I think the weight and vibration caused by the semi trucks backing over this part of the parking strip to dump the dirt used to fill the pool onto my front yard was the last straw for this old, patched area of the water line. I was sick with the thought of finding someone to fix this water line, and the added expense over and above the cost of removing the pool. Noe said "we do water lines". He had turned off the water to my house to stop the leak, so I was without water for about 18 hours. He arrived the next day with the materials to temporarily patch the water line, so I could have water again, pending obtaining the permit and putting me on his schedule to replace the main line.. Its an older house and things happen! But by contracting with Noe who is a general contractor the problems encountered along the way, separate from filling in the pool, were all addressed as they came up. Can't ask for more then that! Noe told me at the beginning of the job "I won't leave until you are happy". He kept his word. I would whole- heartedly recommend the services of Noecon General Engineering Contractor (Noe) to anyone. PS ---his wife Veronica is a joy to work with over any details of your project. She'll back to you with answers to your questions whenever Noe cannot answer his cell phone. They are a great team! read more

We hired Noe to remove an old pool in our home we bought a few months back. His price was fair and he looked very honest. Which is why we choose him for the job. They were on time and did the job well. When I mentioned that I don't want the original shape of the pool seen(ours was an oval), he even made it a rectangle and cut off the concrete on edges where we wanted to put a raised bed for fruit tress. He was also cooperative when we wanted him to put topsoil on the filled-in site and bought bags from homedepot! 5 stars for the service! Thank you! Would recommend him to anyone looking for a pool demolition. read more

My hubby & I walk our San Jose neighborhood often. Feb. 2016 we curiously watched our new neighbor getting their swimming pool removed. From what we saw street side the 2 men were very neat with all materials (coming & going), efficient & orderly, they were very courteous, considerate and respectful of their employers' home/yard and for their neighbors' safety and surroundings. During the construction the front yard, driveway, and street were always left clean and neat at day's end. Upon them completing the job we walked over and thanked them and complimented their work & cleanliness. Being an observer and neighbor I highly recommend this company. Their website is very impressive just like their work ethics we witnessed. Note: Today, 4-22-16, I recommended this company to a neighbor via our neighborhood Nextdoor site. read more

Noe filled-in a large in-ground pool for us, including removal of concrete decking all around the pool in April 2015. Noel did a great job. The work was done as scheduled and he kept us informed about every step in the process. His quote was not the lowest among the three quotes we got, but they were all within a couple of hundred dollars of each other, and Noel came with the best recommendations from his clients, so we chose him. He was kind, courteous, and accommodating of our requests for scheduling the heavy concrete breaking work, since we had an infant at home and didnt want much noise when the infant was asleep. read more

We just did a full-engineering removal and back fill of our pool. Noe's price is very reasonable and he accommodated our schedule with no problem at all. Everything for the project went through very smoothly and on schedule. It was amazing to see what a clean and nice job Noe and his team did with our pool and the backyard. At the end, Noe handed us all the paper work (permit, inspection report, wet stamped engineering report etc... ) in an envelope and told us all the paper has been filed and all done!. The experience working with Noe and his team was just great. ! I would strongly recommend Noe to any homeowner who needs such project to be done. You can't be wrong to go with Noe. ! read more

Noe did an excellent job! After looking at the pool, he gave us a quote, which was reasonable compared to the other quotes we had gotten, and he explained the process very well. He was willing to take us to his previous projects similar to ours and show us what he would do. He did everything he promised and was a very nice person in general. He cleaned up the pool surroundings and the back yard, front yard and even the neighbor's property after finishing up the job. We are more than satisfied with the job and if you're looking to close your pool, we would recommend this company for the job. We would recommend Noe any time. read more

We just bought an old house in Atherton with a deep swimming pool built too close to the house. It was a pleasure having Noecon General Engineering Contractor team help us in removing the pool. In 10 long days of hard work, Noe and his friendly team have transformed a leaked, ugly and dangerously looking pool (deep and too close to the house) into a spacious leveled field of plantable soil. As a young, energetic and considerate owner of his company, Noe has been diligently involved in all challenging activities of the swimming pool's Full Engineered Removal project: getting the permit from the town of Atherton, getting the geotech engineer's plan and compaction test results, driving the bobcats to demolish and later back fill the pool with good dirt, hauling the debris, passing inspections, and cleaning up after completion. He took a lion's share in the burden of tough, heavy, noisy, tiresome works to help his workers. Noe is honest, punctual, polite, patient and helpful. He treated us - his customers - with respect, integrity and professionalism. We are very happy with Noecon General Engineering's service and highly recommend this company without any reservation. Noe, thank you for a job well done! read more
