Good night mommy I love you , sweet dreams ,and good night
    Sandy L.

I adopted Angel from here in 2012 and my partner wanted to adopt a small breed of dog and we came out with a poodle of 2+ years on paper. It was a pleasant ordeal to us . We rented so we needed the ok to adopt a small dog . We had a 24 hour hold on her and that still let us see her on the weekend. But when we found out that we could get her on the following Monday we got to pick her up . I have her now for 5 years old for sure . Now her name is TinkerBell . He has a mind of her own but I always say we girls got to stick together. Now she's my triple G ( gorgeous , good , girl ) all in that order .

It's only a YEAR later that I'm getting around to writing this review, and the experience with this company still makes me tear up, with gratitude! As a first-time client, I had some special requests, like keeping my dog's body for a few days while I finalized ideas for memorabilia. They honored my wishes with such grace and compassion. When I needed an urn, they went above and beyond, showing me their inventory so I could select the perfect one, as each wood option was uniquely cut and meaningful. Their attention to detail and genuine care for my situation made such a difference. Despite my attempts to give them a cash tip as a thank-you, they kindly refused and asked that I leave a review instead. So here it is (a YEAR later): Caring Pathways offers incredible service with a truly compassionate touch. I can't recommend them enough. The vet, Kaity, and her assistant that came to help us were just as much of a blessing as the ladies at the mortuary. You're all just the most extraordinary team of humans!! Thank you, again!!!! With love, from Teresa & Bourbon.

I have experience with 13 GSD's throughout my life, this particular dog is literally a high drive, anxiety riddle Belgian Malinois in GS clothing. If I wanted a Malinois, I would have purchased one. The breeder has gaslit me throughout the experience. Very disappointIng and disheartened by her disingenuous bad business. I would have never purchased this dog if the breeder had disclosed from the beginning that the bloodline of this dog had aggressive tendencies . I asked specifically for a calm, friendly dog and instead I was sold a very reactiv, aggressive and anxious dog.

Not only do they ensure their dogs are very well cared for, but they make sure they are in top shape and healthy before breeding. Sharon was super knowledgeable and really cares about bettering the breed and making sure you get a top tier dog. The relationship doesn't end when you pick up the puppy. Since bringing our girl home 6 months ago she had been available to answer any questions I may have and offers tons of tips and tricks. I take my puppy to the same vet that sees all of their dogs and he has nothing but great things to say. I would 100% recommend purchasing your puppy from them. Very reputable and just great quality GSDs you will not regret adding to your family.

I cannot express how deeply disappointed and heartbroken I am over my experience at CSU Veterinary…read moreTeaching Hospital. I brought my dog, Lupo, there during a medical emergency while we were traveling from North Carolina, and what followed was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. We were already in a state of panic, far from home, trying to make the best decisions we could. Despite that, there was a profound lack of communication, compassion, and transparency throughout his care. We were never offered the option to stay in any rooms, just to rest for a little. Being 45 minutes away while our dog was critically ill created unnecessary distance during the most important moments of his life. The most devastating part is that we were only contacted when things had already taken a severe turn, and that call was not a supportive update, but a frantic, high-pressure conversation where I felt like I was being almost yelled at that he needed to be euthanized immediately. There was no sense of guidance, no compassion just urgency without support. We were not called earlier as he declined, and we were not given a real opportunity to come and be with him in time. Because of this, I lost the chance to have any meaningful final moments with my dog. By the time we were involved, he had been intubated. That was not what I wanted unless it was absolutely necessary as a life-saving measure, and it ultimately robbed me of being able to hold him, comfort him, or say goodbye in a way that had any meaning. That is something I will carry with me forever. When we last saw him, he was placed all the way at the bottom of a cage. It felt impersonal and distressing given how critical his condition was. There was no sense that comfort or dignity in his final moments was being prioritized. To make matters worse, a necropsy (autopsy) was performed without our explicit consent. This was incredibly upsetting and felt like a violation during an already devastating time. The lack of clear communication and consent around something so significant is completely unacceptable. After his passing, the handling of his remains and the lack of communication continued to cause harm. Because of delays and inability to reach anyone, his body was not released to the memorial service we had chosen in time for us to receive his ashes before our flight home. We were forced to extend our stay, rebook flights, and incur additional expenses... all while grieving the loss of our baby. I understand this is a teaching hospital and that not every case has a positive outcome. But communication, compassion, and respect for both the patient and their family should never be optional. At no point did I feel supported, informed, or prioritized as his owner. Lupo was my world. He deserved better. And no family should have to go through what we experienced here. There was no compassion in here. There was only a severe urgency to give us a large bill.

I was told that CSU operates under a "seven‑day open billing consent," meaning my bill could actually increase even after I had already paid and left the facility. This was never explained to me beforehand, and being informed of it only after raising concerns felt both unprofessional and intentionally misleading. The idea that additional charges could be added for up to seven days after my visit caused significant stress and made me feel taken advantage of during an already urgent and emotional situation. I will be submitting a formal complaint with DORA regarding lack of transparency, inconsistent medical information, questionable billing practices, and delayed release of medical records and x‑rays. I will be requesting that this complaint be reviewed by Client Services, the Hospital Administrator, and the Service Chief overseeing my kitten's care.

They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies.
