When I lived in NY, there was 1 location in Westbury and in Massachusetts, there are 8 locations. All locations are pretty similar. The Total Wine & More in Natick is located in Cloverleaf Marketplace Shopping Center with other businesses such as Harbor Freight Tools and Burlington Coat Factory. The parking lot is huge so there are no problems finding a spot. The website, https://www.totalwine.com, is very user friendly and very helpful. I looked up the wines I was looking to purchase beforehand and it showed me the price, availability, and where in the store it is exactly located. There are also some delivery options. The prices aren't bad and were reasonable. I used the store pickup option to purchase 2 wines. I put in the order at 8:03am with a pickup the same day at 1:00pm and at 9:39am, I received an email stating my order is ready early. In the store, there is an Order Pickup counter. Very seamless process. Of course, I took a look around the store as well. The aisles were spacious and staff were available to offer assistance and were restocking. At checkout, there was 1 cashier open and when a line started to form, other staff members opened up to help. Total Wine & More has a great selection. Definitely worth checking out!

I had the single weirdest retail experience of my life at this place today…read more A brewery I like that doesn't often ship to Massachusetts announced a list of retailers who would be distributing their beers, Sudbury Wine and Spirits among them. Since they're a 15-minute drive from my house, I called when they opened to make sure they actually had it. No answer. Maybe their hours were affected by the coronavirus. Understandable, though there was nothing posted about a change in business hours on their website or Facebook page--and they proved to be unreachable on the phone, too. Finally, I decided to throw caution to the wind and head over there. When I arrived, the lights were on, the open sign was out, but the door was locked and there didn't appear to be anyone inside. I called again; no answer. I was about to drive away empty-handed when another guy pulled up, tried the door, and then knocked, and someone inside opened the door... Turns out it was another customer. The manager had gone into the back without realizing she was inside, still shopping, so we were all at a loss as to what to do. The other guy and I were there for this beer, so we headed to the back. It wasn't in the display case, but it was in the cooler behind it, so we each grabbed a four-pack--no one likes a hoarder these days--and headed to the front. Still no manager. He eventually emerges, but with no apology for keeping anyone waiting, and no explanation. He looked at the two of us with beer and said the limit was one CAN per customer, let us know how very difficult it would be to enter this new beer into their system and that it would take a long time to do that (he'd been open for over an hour at that point, and the beer had plainly not JUST gotten there), and then admonished us for going in the cooler. I've never heard of a liquor store that doesn't allow its customers into the cooler, and there were certainly no signs barring us from doing so. Perhaps if he'd been present in the store, he could have told us his rules? He also said he'd be calling his distributor and telling them to never distribute this beer through him again, since I guess he doesn't want business during a pandemic that's shuttering the economy? No problem--I won't be darkening his doorstep for any reason ever again. (Also, he could have sold out of the stuff faster if he'd allowed people to purchase four-packs...) The final straw was this: after ringing each of us up, he LICKED HIS FINGERS to open the paper bag he was putting our ONE CAN of beer into, and then grabbed the beer WITH THE SAME FINGERS to place it inside. I have seen so many businesses bend over backwards to be kind and thoughtful during this public health crisis. This was...not one of them.
