She does her job quickly while staying very thorough. In about 35 minutes today, she took x-rays, diagnosed my jaw pain (and answered follow up questions re: my frequent gum chewing and mouthwashes), did a full cleaning, and even gave me a restaurant recommendation that I asked for. She also has removed stains on my teeth that other hygienists/dentists haven't done previously. From other dentist offices, often I had to wait in the waiting room for awhile, spend 30-45 mins for a cleaning, then wait for another dentist to evaluate my condition; easily an hour+ in total. I've never had to wait long in the waiting room in the last 2 years and I am very impressed by this. Sue is very knowledgeable when you ask her questions and I appreciate her analysis and explanations.

He is conservative and doesn't do expensive unnecessary treatments and try to up-sell like so many dentists these days. He (and his lovely hygienist and dental assistant) puts you at right at ease with his calming manner and is a very good and thorough dentist. He did an implant crown for me recently, and I was so anxious about the ordeal, since he was fixing another dentist's mistake. It looks beautiful and I am very happy with the whole process and outcome. If you are looking for a small town dentist feel, then this office is for you. I highly recommend Dr. Joshi. :).

My first…read moreexperience in finding a dentist was going for a provider in Chatham who did a lot of advertising and self promotion. I was not happy with that dentist and searched for an alternative and took a chance on Dr. Joshi because he accepted my insurance. However he is exactly the type of dentist that you would want to go to. Key positives about his attitude and demeanor: great bedside manner, fantastic with kids, personable, comes across as sincere and honest. However professionally he is a standout. The quality of his work is terrific and he errs on the side of doing less versus trying to convince you to get too much work done. He works in a small office in Madison NJ and it is fine, but not fancy. If you are looking for a great dentist in the area, make sure to give him a try!
