All are recorded so if something comes up and you have to miss, you get the recording. The sessions are very relaxing and have allowed me to take what I learn and use it at any time. Meditation does not have to be confusing and learning different chants (like I imagined). Beth guides us through relaxing classes to focus on different breathing techniques. You will leave calmer and more relaxed.

What can I say about the amazing community that Beth has formed with An Anchored Life?…read more I took classes in person with Beth when she was teaching in NY so I knew that she was a gifted teacher but had no idea that her gifts (or anyone's) could transcend the airwaves and work so well on zoom! I have been taking the Wednesday class off and on as my schedule allows for a few years now. The community that Beth has created is a big part of it for me! Theoretically, I could meditate or do a guided meditation on my own but it is not the same. Not only does the community connection before and after the class enhance the experience but Beth asks us to set intentions before class and magically works them all in to the guided meditation. The recordings of the class are just an added bonus for weeks that just feel too long between classed! Beth is a very gifted teacher and I am so grateful that her gifts continue to impact my life in the virtual setting! Oh and, just like most things in life, I get way more out of the practice when I do it regularly so this is a good reminder for me to sign up for class this week! :)

Before finding this meditation I was a mess of stress and anxiety...even over the smallest things in life! This meditation has made my life a million times simpler and changed my perspective on life as a whole. I am so much more resilient in situations that used to get me down, able to express myself better, it has rid me of constant nightmares allowing for a more restful sleep and more productive days, improved sooo many of my relationships and has truly increased my energy & even my skin and face is brighter and smoother since starting. I always joke and tell people that meditation is my Botox ;) I am also a competitive figure competitor which requires extremely regimented meals/eating plan alongside a huge allotment of time to the gym daily for a solid 4 months out of the year (on top of my full time job)! My body response to my training and diet this year has been unbelievable smooth in terms of fat loss and I attribute it entirely to meditating and ridding myself of stress which has in turn aided in my weight loss. So amazing! I realized no matter how much I exercise to take care of my body, I must also take care of my mind. I try to come for an hour a day (more when I can) and travel frequently with a wacky work schedule; anyone can fit this into their schedule! I leave feeling so refreshed every time. The teachers here are wonderful and genuinely want you to succeed. I have only completed 2 levels of 7 and am so excited to see what other changes will occur as I progress. I could go on for hours about the wonders that this center has done for me! I now realize what a necessity this is in life :)
