Love this place. Dark guy with the braids is very knowledgeable and nice. I highly recommend

I also sold my Mega charizard X ex promo and they paid me a good 18 dollars when one sold last for 45, they be taxing the hell out of me when I'm just tryna get sum quick cash. if your reading this sell your cards anywhere else but here read more

Don't sell them movies. I got $6 for selling more than 40 movies and they included at least 5 4-movie collections. They will turn around and sell them for $98- $2.00 a piece. Making tons of profit. read more

Best store ever! I have been there multiple times and I just love how much variety there is

I've shopping at Noble for years and the service really depends on the staff at hand. Recently they have been very good on their service and selection. The pokemon cards are reasonably priced and even had hard to find boxes. I would recommend stopping in for a visit if in the area. From vintage to modern, they usually have what you're looking for. Gamer's A is also a rock throw away. read more

I waited for an hour, and they didn't even do business with me and they were disrespecting me because I'm a kid

Just moved to this area of town and love I have a gaming place 5 minutes from my place. The staff was great and took the time to help my son with Pokémon cards and they were very friendly. Definitely recommend. They have games from every system and a good DVD selection. read more

Buy, sell, trade your video games, consoles or other things. I'm not a gamer but this place is pretty cool. If you want an original video game system, games, controllers or components. This is your place. They also sell movies and some other gamer cards (Pokemon, or magic the gathering?) I apologize, but I don't know anything about that stuff. I stopped in to check out an old video game console I had in storage for years. I thought I was missing some wires but it turns out it was complete. The helpful staff hooked it up and ops checked it with their game and their controller because it turns out that my controller was not working. I did buy a pre-owned controller for $15. They have a 7 day return policy if I have any issues. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy this place. If nothing else to reminisce about past video games and consoles. read more

Brandon was incredibly kind and helpful during our purchase. Great service and great selection of magic cards.

Called for a quote on metro exodus for Xbox one. I found it to be $20 at Walmart and I thought if I go to a used game place they might have it for cheaper. BIG NOPE the guy who answered told me they had it used (of course) for $31. How in the hell is that even possible. At Walmart a giant corporation has it BRAND NEW for $20 and at this small place that supposably have it cheaper but BIG NOPE. Don't think I will ever shop here nor recommend it to anybody. read more

A place such as Noble should be passionate and concerned about the needs of their followers to acquire various articles suiting their geeked out desires. Answering phone calls respectfully and honestly should be in one's repertoire as a Noble associate. This is simply not the case for some. The Pokémon community is tightly knit, and it is extremely disappointing to have someone tell one person via phone that cards aren't available, only to tell another they are, not but MINUTES LATER. What's the deal? You hooking up your friends before the public? Aiden, to be specific, is extremely rude and entitled and does NOT represent the collector community, nor his employers, well. What a shame. Supporting this local business is the LAST of my concerns at this point. Keep your overly priced, newly released sets. read more

I've been going here since they were located off Wyoming and Montgomery and I still visit till this day! A great selection of movies, games, TCG, and so much more. They truly keep a nostalgic vibe while being able to stay up to date with everything they do. Love this store and I'm happy it's still going! read more

Four stars because: they have some great retro gaming stock (SNES, N64, genesis, etc.) in addition to the new stuff. They are friendly and happy to help. 1 star removed because their prices are not horrible (see below), but also not the best in town. Note: they don't offer any sort of gaming system repairs. If you're really into retro gaming, I think your first stop should be down the street at Gamers Anonymous... I am very new to retro gaming, but have noticed that GA seems to be the best pricing on both games and systems if they have them in stock. For example, a SNES system at Noble runs $74.99 and at Gamers Anon is $49.99. The difference in pricing on games does not seem to be almost double - more like 15-30% higher on average. I also wish the retro games were easier to browse at Noble Gaming. Even their less expensive SNES titles are in a glass case & are displayed in a manner where you can't browse them without asking them to get them all out for you. I like to drop in now and then to see what they have, and this setup makes it less fun to drop by Noble. Overall, I am glad they are here and will keep going by. I have never needed to return anything, but their policies seem fair if I did need to return anything. read more

This place gets a lot busier than I expected at 2pm. Went in to sell some movies. There was a couple ahead of me already sold them 150 dvd's! My eyes grew wide as soon as I saw the 200+ movies they walked in with. Because of this I had to wait about 15 minutes before I was helped. As I waited I saw a 2 people come in them 2 more next thing I know they had least 12 customers in the store. I'm a patient person and normally I would not make a big deal about waiting but my time was limited to 45 minutes before I had to be at work so the wait was a little stressful for me as I had such a small time crunch. Other than that it was a pretty pleasant experience. The gentleman there were very friendly and helpful. They looked over my 42 Blu-ray movies, seasons of boardwalk empire, and Silicon Valley season 1 to make sure the disks were in good shape. Of course I had no doubt they wouldn't be just because I take care of my stuff so they were almost flawless. They gave me a fair amount in cash for the movies and I definitely will be returning to them next time I have some movies I'm no longer watching or games I'm not playing. read more

Took my nephew here on a lark because he wanted a game at the Game Crazy next door (Coors location). Went inside, and the inner card geek and gamer woke up. They even had Atari games! If I were 12 again with money to burn, they would get all of it...and I would have been mowing lawns, etc. to get more. Awesome selection of computer games of many vintages, sports cards, and gamers' paradise for those into pokemon, magic, etc. Also, they have Manga too. Seriously, these folks hit on a lucrative business model i am sure!!! read more

Noble Gaming - Amazing prices - Videos & Video Game Rental Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Good prices on used DVDs. Used games are slightly higher priced than GameStop. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

There are better places to spend your money. None of the upper management play or care about any of the products. Employees are always unhappy. Customers are not valued. There are always shoplifters selling merchandise stolen from other stores. read more

They offered to pay me 5 bucks for a system they sell for 40. The guy even said it if I could find a better deal elsewhere, then go already. I wasn't rude at all. It was unprovoked. All I said was that 5 bucks seemed a bit low. Definitely not coming back. read more

Noble is a great local store for video games and consoles from every era, DVDS, comics, and collectible card game collectible cards. Since I don't read comics or play Magic the Gathering, I prefer this store to the other overall. The video game selection is fantastic here. They have a good selection of titles for this-gen consoles, their prices are lower than some more corporate stores, their return policy is forgiving, and they always have something interesting for me. Still, that's not why this place is awesome. You can buy PS3 and 360 titles at a lot of places, what you can't find everywhere is NES, SNES, Gameboy, Atari, Sega, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, etc., games. And Noble has tons of them. Games are generally in good shape, and they guarantee that the game works (or you can return it). I bought 3 of my 6 consoles from Noble, and I have had (knock on wood) no problems at all with them. As far as I know, there are no other stores in town that sell these games, but I can say they are much more reliable than buying them off Craigslist and usually a bit cheaper than Amazon (with shipping and all). read more

Noble Gaming - Videos & Video Game Rental Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

I found a boxed copy of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker here for $25. When the cashier pulled it out of the case, he said, "Actually, I need to check the other location real quick." He comes back and says that he has to wait for one of the other workers to come back before he can give me a quote. I said "You can't sell it to me for the price its already marked at? That's shady." and he said, "Well, no. The price recently went up." So I walked out. You know, I had a similar experience at @GamersAnonymous a few years ago where they had a rare game marked too low, but they sold it to me at that price anyway because it was the right thing to do. I won't be coming back here anymore. read more

I got a noble gaming for their fantastic Pokémon card collection that they have for sale their prices are a little bit higher than what you pay otherwise for example some of their cards are overpriced however there's also some really good deals on some Pokémon cards they also have really good deals on the Pokémon card packs like rolling sky's and all those other great sets that you really like so I definitely recommend stopping here it's a great place especially if you're going to buy singles or packs an example of one of the overpriced cards mega Charizard EXfrom generations not worth $40 but that's just one example other than that everything's pretty priced right so definitely stop bye read more

My favorite comic book store. Kind of sucks that they're all the way up in the stupid Heights.

Better of the two locations but still not good as it can be. I am a long time shopper here, Im talking 5-6 years but in the last year or so it's gone down hill drastically. For one customer service ain't at it's best, I mean I know you're a market towards the gamer freak in all of us but still treat everyone with respect, it goes a long way. Second the trade value for games, movies... ect has, in my opinion, gotten worse than game stop and that says a lot! I used to get a nice store credit for my trade ins now all they give is penny's on the dollar. Being a collector or film I still like taking a trip here every now and then to see what new films they have but what I don't like is the price mark up, Oh Yeah we noticed! Times getting really hard I guess Huh? All in all this location is better of the two evils as they say but hey That's how it goes right? read more

My 15 year old son went there Jan 21 to buy a gift with his own money for his older brother, a used silver-edition Pokemon game for Game Boy. The clerk that sold it to him PROMISED that it worked, so he bopught it & took it home. A week later, the birthday-boy tried his new game, onl to find out it didn't work. I went to take it back, and the manager told me the game could only be returned if WITHIN 3 DAYS!!! I protested that my son was PROMISED that it worked, we were sold a defective product, etc, but to no avail. I asked that he please have the owner give me a call to appeal the issue, and 3 days later, I still have not heard from them. Youngsters, beware!! I will NOT allow either of my kids to shop there again and it's practically across the street from us - Game-Stop from here on out!!!! read more

Reasonably priced. Great service. A multitude of gaming optioms for a true OG! (Original Gamer)

Overall a good place to find old video games and get a better deal than Gamestop when trading in.

Helpful staff great stock knowledgable people! My only complaint is the pricing on some of the magic card wares. like 49.99 for a current set fat pack is 10 dollars overpricing. read more

I am NOT a gamer but my child is. I needed the cable for an N64, the one that goes from the game box to the TV ( I now know it is called an AV cable). I went to Noble and asked for the cable that goes from the box to the TV. When I got home my child told me I had a power cord and not an AV cable. I thought "no problem, I will just return it". I went to Noble the very next day with the power cable and the receipt and the clerk refused to give a refund because the box was opened. I explained that it I was given the wrong cord but still no refund, not even an exchange. To make matters worse I had to pay again for the correct AV cable. True story. Buyer beware at Noble. I know I will never go there again. I will buy what I need on Amazon and wait a day or three for the mail. Never had a problem with a refund from Amazon. read more

Most DVDs are scratched but they do clean them if you ask. But the whole store smells like fat sweaty men with bad Body Oder. And that's in both stores. Prices are not bad but it's hard to shop holding your nose and squinting your eyes at the smell read more

Sit down kids, and let me tell you a true story about Noble Gaming. Lets go back to somewhere in the 2000's. My friend Tiny and i are browsing and he asks to see a card. He is mostly blind at this time due to keratoconus thus he can not read the card through the glass. Their response to this was "are you going to buy it? if not no!" this of course led to us not using noble for many many years. Fast forward to about November 2015, we finally check the other noble out on Coors for Force of Will . We met the nicest manager in history, Anders, who even offers to judge for us over the phone as we attempt to learn the game. The kindness totally changes our mind about Noble Gaming and repairs the damage done by the original store. Over the next few months we got into the tournaments and met great people and judges including another employee who we called fairy because of his deck. We had a great time this past year, We bought over time about 10 boxes, and attended almost every tournament since December. Approximately we have spent 1300 dollars there over this year. I could have gotten the boxes far cheaper online, but paid the extra out of a sense of loyalty. I now regret Every penny. My trust in this company has been betrayed again as they have arbitrarily decided to fire the two people that restored it. Both Anders, and Fairy. I wish them to know in no uncertain terms, that unless they decide to reverse their decision, my business with them has concluded. If the people in question contact me directly saying the decision was reversed but they declined, ill consider and also edit this post. In the mean time i will make sure that i post this on every social media site i can. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB regarding the original incident, and i will be recommending to Force of Will that they remove them as a official store, as they do not need to be associated with a store that treats their employees and as a side effect customers this way. read more

I came in to sell some Magic: The Gathering cards. After looking through all of my cards, they picked out 10 that they wanted to buy and paid me $35 for them. Hoping to sell the rest in bulk online, I went to a couple of websites and found that one of the cards I sold would go for $70 online. Yes, I realize that I should do my research before I go, and expected that, with some work, I could probably get a little more, but I didn't expect to get ripped off that badly. Too bad for me that all card buying is final. read more

Noble sucks so bad. Worst collectibles store ever. Horrible comic selection and their games are way over priced. Also the love to rip people off. I had to N64 games which according to Gamers Anoynomous are rare. Zelda Ocarina of time and Mario 64 both of which they are selling for 40 a piece. They're offer was 5 credit 2 cash. Seriously? I thought. So I take them to Gamers Anoynomous, and they give me 15 cash for each of them. I think Noble employees get commission based on how much they rip you off haha read more

i walk in to the store looking for some magic the gathering cards. i have really bad eyesight its something like 20/200, i ask one of the people at the counter to look at a card and he said (are you going to buy it?) i told him i am just looking right now and he then told me ( well then you don't need to see it) after that i will never go back. read more
