I am an adult driver in my early 30s and I have my driver's license. However, before coming to Noble I had little experience on the road since I spent most of my life in big cities where driving was unnecessary and even a nuisance. For most of my life I never even owned a car, and I had very little confidence driving - I felt nervous just getting in the driver's seat. I decided that I wanted to overcome my lack of experience and nervousness, especially on the highway. I found Noble Driving Academy after looking at several other schools. They were by far the most responsive and easiest to communicate with. The price also seemed reasonable to me ($440 for 10 hours of driving lessons). I took driving lessons before I got my license about ten years ago, and have taken a few since, but Muhammed Bashir at Noble was far and away the best driving teacher I've ever had. Muhammed made me feel very relaxed behind the wheel. He is easygoing and very calm, which sets a great tone for the lessons. He was always on time and very accommodating in terms of scheduling lessons around my busy schedule. What I really appreciated about Muhammed is his skill at explaining exactly what you need to do in various situations - he always explains in a simple and understandable way. For example, I was never sure exactly what the process should be for changing lanes, so Muhammed mapped it out for me step by step. He even got out of the car to show me exactly where I should be looking when I do a shoulder check. I really appreciated that Muhammed always maintained his cool and was able to correct me without making me feel bad. He also worked with me to build up to driving on the highway, which I now feel much better about. I know that I need more hours on the road to fully develop my driving abilities, but in ten hours, Muhammed has gotten me to a place where I feel I have all the skills I need to go out and get more experience on my own. After somehow making it to my late 20s without a driver's license (a product of living in cities and overseas for several years) I finally bit the bullet and scheduled a week-long review to prepare me for the road skills test. There were some initial hiccups with scheduling, which is why Noble only gets 4 stars instead of 5. (If I could, I would give my instructor all the stars.) I scheduled the lessons over a month in advance with the main office, including dates and preferred times, and was not contacted with final information until less than 48 hours (zero business days) before the first lesson. (I followed up twice the preceding week and was told "soon".) At that point, I was asked if my dates were flexible, which--by then--they were not. There was some back-and-forth with the main office but eventually everything was worked out. My instructor, Mohammed, was very helpful during this process and was punctual when the lessons began. Mohammed was extremely patient, calm, and informative during the lessons. He reviewed all the basics with me, as I'd done almost no driving in over eight years, then gradually moved on to bigger challenges, like highway driving and parallel parking. (Parallel parking's not on the test, but he agreed to teach me his special technique anyway, complete with diagrams and mathematical formulas.) He was full of great tips for the road skills test, and each lesson was a mix of new challenges and review. By the end of the week, I was ready for the test and passed it on the first try! My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about Noble Driving Academy of Alexandria, and the assigned driving instructor, Mohammed Bashir. My wife is from Uzbekistan, and she needed driving lessons prior to taking her driver's test for the first time. After some initial research on-line comparing schools, followed by some phone calls, we settled on Noble, and am very happy that we did. Soon after filling out the registration on-line for my wife, the office manager contacted me and explained their pricing and services. After setting up a tentative date for my wife's first lesson, Mohammed called us to to confirm when the date rolled around, and then we discussed the class schedule and driving lesson package. We ultimately settled for the initial 5-lesson package, about an hour to 1.5 hours each. That package had Mohammed scheduling the lessons direct with my wife via text and phone, and coordinating his other student's schedules with my wife's work schedule. After the first 5 lessons were complete, Mohammed spoke with me on the phone to explain my wife's driving progress, and what she needed to work on in order to get ready for the driving test. Anyway, we agreed on another 5 lesson package, this time at a reduced cost because of the repeat business. We also used Mohammed's Noble Driving Academy car for my wife's test (though there was an extra charge for that), because it was the car she was most comfortable driving. Ultimately, my wife passed her driving test on the first attempt, and we have Mohammed's patience, knowledge, encouragement and great teaching style to thank for that. read more

I have nothing but praise for Noble Driving Academy. From my first interaction to my last, every single staff member I came into contact was very professional. I'm in my late twenties and needed to finish learning to drive (never needed to really drive since DC has such good public transportation). After some initial research on-line in late February 2012, I decided to make a more detailed inquiry with Noble based on the philosophy they espoused on their website. After filling out the registration on-line, the office manager contacted me and explained their pricing, services, etc. This interaction alone was miles ahead in terms of professionalism compared to other schools I had made initial calls to in the past. I signed-up for an initial package of six two-hour lessons for a bit over $500. My instructor was Mohammed Bashir. He is a great teacher! Mohammed is really nice, clear, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He always texted me the night before our lessons to confirm when he was coming and was always flexible with scheduling. For my first lesson, Mohammed taught me how to perform a basic safety check of the car, and I got behind the wheel in an empty parking lot with a lot of turns, etc. to get use to the car. The next lesson we went on the road. For the next several weeks, I met with Mohammed for two hours most every Saturday and Sunday. Under his tutelage I steadily improved at a good pace. My English is not the best so please forgive my mistakes in this review. I normally don't do reviews but I believe that people need to know about Noble Driving Academy. I am 46 and never had the need to drive a car in my country, but I learned that was not the case in Northern Virginia. I called few places that literally hung up because it takes me an extra time to understand due language difference. I called Noble Driving Academy and spoke to someone by the name Roger. I was suppressed that Roger was very tolerant because he stayed on the phone for about 45 minutes and never said anything about my language barrier. He was very understanding because he compared my journey to friends and many of his students. I asked for his recommendation on packages and was surprised that he didn't recommend the most expensive. In fact, he suggested a mid grade package and said we can add additional hours as needed to fit my budget. My instructor was Adeel and he was very patient with me and answered my questions. He took me in different areas to expose me to heavy and light traffic. I can proudly say that I am a safe beginner-licensed driver solely because of Noble Driving Academy. I am a adult and had zero driving experience. I looked at different driving schools from Alexandria and DC area, and made inquiries with a few in order to pick one. Besides the many great reviews Noble Driving Academy had that no one else had, it was also the one that replied fastest, gave the most helpful information and had the best price, so I picked Noble Driving. I started with a 10-hour package as advised, and renewed for more based on my progress. I passed the road test on my first try. I am very glad that I picked Noble Driving Academy. It was a great learning experience for me. My instructor was Muhammed Bashir and he was great. He had a very friendly teaching approach and good teaching skills. The stuff for me to learn and to practice in each lesson was very nicely organized based on my progress, and was always a combination of challenges and fun. I had no knowledge about driving whatsoever prior to this, and was expecting a long and stressful learning process. I was looking for behind-the-wheel driving lessons for adults with a flexible schedule, and Noble Driving Academy provided that, and more! I contacted them through their website and Roger gave me a call to walk me through how the lessons work and pricing. We set up a time around when the first lesson would begin and said I would get a phone call from the instructor. When the time came, the instructor, Muhammed Bashir, called to set up my first lesson. Even though he was also teaching other students, he was able to fit me in on a weekend. My lessons with Muhammed were great, he started by gauging my driving skills, then refining them through tips and instruction. He was always calm, and talked me through the procedures and routes. He gave great advice as to what to expect during a road test, and in situations on the road. I cannot recommend Muhammed enough, just be flexible with your time when it comes to scheduling your lessons and you will be able to learn, practice and improve. I was very reluctant about driving due to anxiety issues. I was also worried about someone thinking I was stupid for knowing so little about driving. However, I would recommend Nobel Driving to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat! My driving instructor was Muhammed Bashir and he was the absolute best! He never made me feel uncomfortable and was never judgmental of me in any way. He is an amazing teacher. Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, clear and encouraging! We practiced about 2 hours a day every single week day and he was great about calling the night before to schedule a time for the next day. Considering I am a single parent, he was great about being flexible in terms of practicing either while my daughter was at school or when I could find someone to watch her. Noble Driving Academy is the Best Driving School in Northern VA. This groups level of HIGH Class Service is something that other driving instructors should look to get on their level. They were extremely fast and timely from responding to phone calls and being on time for my instructional classes. I started with to go with another area driving school until they did not ever call me back. My instructor was very helpful in giving me some great tips on driving in crazy Northern Va traffic. Before her 5 private Behind-The-Wheel lessons with Muhammed Bashir of Noble Driving Academy, my 20-year-old daughter only had experience driving in a parking lot and on little-traveled inner roads. As a result of the lessons, she now feels comfortable driving on major roads with traffic. My daughter describes Muhammed as very encouraging, patient, and professional. He pointed out what to expect on a DMV road test and what to avoid. He progressively challenged her when she thought she was ready. For all of us, her driving lessons with Muhammed were a very positive experience. Before the lessons, he talked with us about how he hoped to space the lessons, answered our questions, and how he would challenge her with more difficult situations when she was ready. By far a much better experience than I would have thought driving school would be. My instructor Muhammad was very understanding with my time constraints and explained the process for getting my license in a very easy to understand way and made the entire process as painless as possible. We had no issue with scheduling because they were so flexible. He even went out of his way to help me learn parallel parking, something that isn't required to obtain the license anymore. Not only did he help me perfect my skills with the physical aspect of driving, but he reviewed the laws of driving, the special restrictions on a license for a teenager, safety, and the theories that apply to driving itself (ie, how you can line up your car when parking and helpful tips like that). It was a wonderful and much less painstaking experience than I would have ever imagined. read more

Noble was recommended to us by several of my daughter's friends for behind-the-wheel and we're very happy that we used them! They explained the process with accuracy, the price was very reasonable (less than the county!), they were always prompt and they were very flexible with the scheduling process (something the county definitely isn't!). My daughter's instructor was Mohammed and he was very knowledgeable, very patient and he made my daughter feel very comfortable behind the wheel. He was also very flexible with the scheduling of the sessions which we greatly appreciated with all of the snowy weather! Mohammed also took the extra time to work with her one-on-one which helped build her confidence and skills. I called around numerous schools and even registered with another school, who never showed I called Noble Driving Academy who followed up on time and even went out of their way to provide feedback on my kid's progress. The Noble Driving Academy staff has perfected customer service and the importance of safe driving. My kid is a licensed driver in VA and we have recommended all of our friends to attend Noble Driving Academy. I was very nervous going into the behind the wheel driving program. I thought that I would be instantly kicked out because of the poor driving skills I had at the begging. I met up with my driving instructor Muhammed Bashir and he was so welcoming,nice, and made sure that I felt comfortable in the car and not nervous. I would remember asking so many questions about what was ok or not while I was driving and he would always answer respectfully and kind and tell me what was wrong and not. In my experience with him driving I don't think I could of had a better driving instructor then Muhammed. Hes really knows how to teach well and it actually sticks! I enjoyed Noble Driving Academy from the first call to the day I go my license. I spoke to a guy name Roger (office manager) who spent about 30 minutes on the phone going over the process and setting clear expectations. I never once felt that Noble Driving Academy committed more than what they could deliver. I enjoyed my instructor (Adeel) who not only instructed me about driving but also defensive driving. I had lot of fun during my lesson and all the other students where always enjoying their time. The lesson where on point and fun. You might not believe it but I ride with her know. She has really impressed me with the knowledge she has for driving now. Nobel Driving Academy is the best! Muhammed who was my instructor he's a very nice, cool, and very paticent guy! He is the best instructor if you make a mistake he doesn't yell at you like your parents would but he just tells you not to worry and he tells you how to improve. He taught me how to drive. I actually took drivers ed and behind the wheel for a very affordable price!!! They were all very nice, and I am very happy and pleased with the service they offer! I had a super great experience with Noble Driving Academy! I did both the classroom sessions and the behind the wheel. They worked hard to accommodate my program to my schedule and adjust the process to best fit my personal learning method. I worked mainly with Sultan within the driver's ed sessions and he was wonderful at reviewing the information in amusing ways while continuing to emphasize the relevance of the lessons. My driving instructor was Mohammed, he was very kind and helped to remind me to keep calm while I was driving. Wow what an experience. The noble driving academy was wonderful my driving instructor was Muhammed Bashir. He was awesome, but that wasn't all everything I learned about the road is because of him. All the parking and switching lanes and even watching out for the cars. The way he taught was wonderful. If i ever felt uncomfortable on the road he'd make it a lot easier for me!
