No BS at this repair shop. Honest and capable. Jeff can fix it. He is the mechanics mechanic.

The folks they have a great - they just don't have enough of them, and the ones they have are often working non stop from start to end of shift. I cannot fault these folks for the wait time - yes, it has usually been an hour and a half to two hours of wait time when I bring my vehicles here for an oil change, but once they get my vehicle back, they work quickly and efficiently. I'm grateful for this service center, because we don't have an abundance of auto service centers in the area (and the ones we do, much like Walmart, are often super busy too). When the associate was taking my information, right off the bat she made very clear it would be a bit of a wait - they only had two technicians working when I arrived at the start of the day, and already they had at least six vehicles and a full waiting room. I let her know that was fine, and she relaxed instantly when she saw I wasn't going to moan and complain. It isn't her fault either that we don't have enough auto technicians in the work force right now. It would be MY fault to be a jerk about it and scoff or complain. As it is, I'll sit patiently and gracefully as these folks do their jobs, and appreciate I have somewhere to bring my vehicles for service.

It was just a disappointing first experience after spending a decent amount of money. We took our car here for an inspection at the end of February. We were told we needed new brakes for around $800 to pass inspection. When I picked the car up and started driving home I noticed that the car was making a high pitched squealing and grinding sound, so I immediately turned around and returned to the shop. I was told something about a clip that had come loose or not been attached correctly when the brakes were replaced but was told it was fixed and I was good to go. I drove home with no issues (I only live about a mile from the shop). The next day my husband ran a local errand and the car started smoking while he was stopped at an intersection. I immediately called Monro and had to push a bit to get them to look at it that day. I had to have it towed from my house to the shop because I didn't feel safe driving it even a short distance. When I went to pick it up again, I asked what happened and was told that this time, no lubrication was applied to the brakes. Apparently it was originally done by a newer, or a junior technician? I'm not totally sure, but essentially it was two massive errors in a row. I was assured that a senior technician double checked it before I left, and that the junior technician that had made the two errors was being "talked to". I'm just glad that I didn't get on the highway either time and attempt to go any type of distance, and that there was no apparent permanent damage to my car. Anyway, I never heard back from them after that. Since then, everything has run without issue, but this was not only inconvenient but potentially very dangerous. I don't think we'll be back, which I hate to say, but I'm not super trusting that things will be handled correctly in future.
