I was worried because of the bad reviews but again I couldn't find another place. I had concerns when the husband owner was pinning it, and verbally told him i wanted it longer and he (i thought) adjusted the pins. When I went to pick it up they had done it unevenly with one side shorter than the other and made it too short. When I told him he said I did that by hiking it up higher and that it was only uneven by a "little" so when I walked it would be fine. Oh they also didn't give me a price when I brought it in and then charged me $93 to hem less than an inch off. He kept huffing and puffing saying I was the first person to ever complain in his 30 years in business. It was clear he was going to dismiss everything I said and kept saying it was "fine" but for $93 I expect it at least be even on both sides.

This may mark the first time that I've done a review for a dry cleaning place. It took me a little…read morewhile to figure out exactly how you rate somewhere like this, but ultimately it seems like everything that they are doing is pretty spot on! It's run by a couple who have been doing it for a number of years. They were very friendly, took the clothing and got me the information about how long it would take to dry clean the suit very quickly. It was done when they said it would be, and the total price seemed very reasonable. It was $16.99 to get a suit dry cleaned and considering how infrequent it needs to happen, it seemed like a fair price. They were also very kind and answered a couple of very random questions that I had regarding dry cleaning. I wondered how often clothes don't get picked up and what they do with clothing that isn't claimed. The very nice lady that I chatted with said they keep things for a year and if people don't claim them or they are unable to get a hold of them after that time, they give them to the Salvation Army or the Union Gospel Mission. She said it doesn't happen very often, but they've had plenty of people move away And leave their dry cleaning. All said and done, the people working here nice, they did a good job dry cleaning my clothing, the price was fair and they seem to be a nice hard-working group of folks who are doing a nice job with the local small business. Can't do much better than that!

I don't recommend anyone going there for any kind of transaction. There is a disturbing level of…read moredishonesty and abysmal customer service associated with this business. I went there on 9/9/24 and made $5 worth of purchase. After I inserted my debit card, the cashier told me I would be charged 45 cents extra.--something I should have been told before I started using my debit card. I didn't know this before using debit card. I asked for where they have that written to inform customers, and was showed a place where it is deceptively written in small letters and out of customer's view. You have to be really snooping around to find it and read it. I ask if they could make it bigger so that future customers would know they'd be charged a fee for using debit card; a lady who works there told me they would not do that. After claiming she was the manager upon my asking, she now told me to come back the next day to speak to a manager about what I was saying. I wanted to return the items and get a refuse they refused. I feel robbed.
