I was worried because of the bad reviews but again I couldn't find another place. I had concerns when the husband owner was pinning it, and verbally told him i wanted it longer and he (i thought) adjusted the pins. When I went to pick it up they had done it unevenly with one side shorter than the other and made it too short. When I told him he said I did that by hiking it up higher and that it was only uneven by a "little" so when I walked it would be fine. Oh they also didn't give me a price when I brought it in and then charged me $93 to hem less than an inch off. He kept huffing and puffing saying I was the first person to ever complain in his 30 years in business. It was clear he was going to dismiss everything I said and kept saying it was "fine" but for $93 I expect it at least be even on both sides.

I went there on 9/9/24 and made $5 worth of purchase. After I inserted my debit card, the cashier told me I would be charged 45 cents extra.--something I should have been told before I started using my debit card. I didn't know this before using debit card. I asked for where they have that written to inform customers, and was showed a place where it is deceptively written in small letters and out of customer's view. You have to be really snooping around to find it and read it. I ask if they could make it bigger so that future customers would know they'd be charged a fee for using debit card; a lady who works there told me they would not do that. After claiming she was the manager upon my asking, she now told me to come back the next day to speak to a manager about what I was saying. I wanted to return the items and get a refuse they refused. I feel robbed.

Whoever her name is that closes up this place had arrived in her car and said it closed at 9pm which was posted on the door but I told her I didn't know because online it says different. I was trying to get my clothes out of the washer mid wash and she immediately called the cops on me. That is so uncalled for and disgusting. There was an emergency button on the washer so I figured if I pushed it maybe it would drain and unlock the door to get my clothes. I asked her why she was calling the cops and she said for trespassing when clearly I'm tryin to get my clothes and the laundry mat was open and running for me to go in like normal. She wouldn't give me even 5min to get my clothes. I will be talking to management because that is not a reason to call the cops on somebody. She had one nasty attitude and Delaney Laundry mat should be ashamed they have employees like this working for them. Completely shocked and lost for words on how horrible my experience was and the disrespect I was given over a honest confusion on what time they closed.
