They didn't have high chairs when we got seated, but the staff was so accommodating and quickly ran across the street to borrow some from another restaurant. The host gave us a rundown of the place and all of the different areas: board games, bocce courts, arcade games, old school gaming systems and TVs, golf bays, and putting green. Some activities were free and some needed a gaming card to play. There are dining tables and bar stools inside, as well as picnic tables and more seats at the bar outside. It was a beautiful night, so all of the large windows were open. Their bar included signature cocktails and mocktails, as well as limited beer and wine options. The food menu wasn't very extensive, but we tried the buffalo chicken dip, caprese dip, guacamole and queso, Thai chicken tacos, and a flatbread. The food came out quickly, and everything was pretty good; it wasn't anything spectacular, but decent to snack on while you play games and enjoy the atmosphere.

In-house catering and bar service are also huge pluses. Food is good and great selection of alcohol. Another great perk of this venue is an on-site day-of coordinator. If you have a slightly higher / more flexible budget and want the ease of everything under one roof, highly recommend. Bella Sera does have different packages to accommodate a range of budgets. We personally, could not put a price tag on a 100% stress-free, peace of mind wedding experience. We have no regrets! From day one, the wedding coordinator, Andrea was AMAZING. She is very warm and welcoming, highly knowledgeable and experience, extremely prompt and organized, and flexible. There is defined outline / timeline that you receive so always know when to expect communication and/or if something is due. Clear-cut and transparent. From an aesthetic standpoint, this venue is STUNNING! Although it is Italian inspired, any theme and decor truly can fit the space. Another selling point of this venue is the ability to have an outdoor or indoor ceremony and proactive, streamlined measure in place to convert the space if you have to move from outdoor to indoor. We could not imagine hosting our wedding anywhere else. It was a dreamy venue for our 1920's Old Hollywood Black Tie Optional wedding in September 2026. Cannot say enough good things about this venue. All day-of staff were great and on top of things to keep fluidity.

I was extremely disappointed with the Mother's Day brunch experience this year. My family and I had…read morevisited before and absolutely loved the atmosphere and food, which is why I encouraged my family to celebrate here for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like our previous experiences. This was not a cheap brunch, yet it lacked some of the most basic brunch offerings -- no omelet station, no waffles, pancakes, or the variety that was offered in the past. The food overall was very disappointing and nowhere near worth the price. What made it even worse was the dessert area. Once desserts ran out, they were never refilled, and several members of my family never even had the chance to try them. For the amount charged, this is unacceptable. I even asked the host about the omelet station they used to offer and was told it was removed because the lines would get too long. That is not a good excuse. Other brunch places like Grand Concourse still manage to offer omelet stations, waffle stations, eggs, meats, and much more at a similar or even lower price point. I left embarrassed and disappointed after recommending this place to my family for such a special occasion. Sadly, we will not be returning, and I would not recommend this brunch experience to others looking for a quality Mother's Day celebration.

They have a pool and feature a lot of events for the kids e.g. movies nights). Keep in mind though that all of these activities are an extra charge in addition to your membership fees. There is a $500 minimum food and beverage requirement every 6 months (Jan-Jun) and (Jul-Dec). There's also a $40 per month service charge for the servers, but that means you don't really need to tip. However, we always leave our server a few extra bucks. I love the ambiance. They are in the process of renovating. We like to eat at the bar or sit on the upstairs covered terrace and enjoy spectacular views of the golf course. The service is always outstanding -- attentive and friendly. Food: Breakfast and lunch are great value. I love their omelettes and some lunch items. Dinner, in my opinion, is not good value. It is pricey and mediocre. However, I love their "make your own pasta" on Wednesdays -$20 which includes a mini buffet of two salads, a soup, pizza, a couple of entrees (e.g. sausage and peppers, meatballs) and dessert. They also do on Thursdays a "Member Appreciation" entree which is also reasonably priced. Recently, we went on a Thursday. My husband got the Member Appreciation entree which was prime rib for $20 and I got the Spots and Crab for $42 (pic attached). All entrees come with choice of soup or salad and two sides. Prime rib was really good. Spot and Crab was okay. I really enjoy the club. It's a good hang and opportunities to get decent value.

But aside from the ample parking, what matters to me? Coffee. And this place has vending machine coffee and no snackbar. Blech. A positive is the temperature inside the rink. While decidedly cool, it isn't a meat locker and that's important when you are essentially stationary for an hour. It has a 100% functioning scoreboard, also a huge nice to have. On the downside, the players benches and penalty box obscure the view along the boards. Rinks where the benches are opposite the bleachers are better. If f this place had fresh coffee I would give the rink 4 stars - but they don't so they get a 3.

The trail is great for beginners or if you just want a quick jog. There are several benches you can sit down on along the way, plus a tree stump in the woodsy part that you can also sit on to rest. It's a very well maintained trail that smells like freshly cut wood chips, and has a nice variety of terrain. I didn't see any dog poop (it's a no-dog park) and no litter at all, which the multiple trash cans around the loop definitely help with. While a good portion of the trail has the wood chips, some areas could use a bit more. After rain, a few spots can get muddy and it can get a little marshy in the grassy part where there is no trail. The outer loop is about 1.2 miles, and there are several spots where the trail branches off. There's a more "woody" section and a more "grassland" section, which keeps it interesting. It's also not hard to find parking at the church across the street. There's a lot of birds chirping and tons of squirrels and bunnies, and every once in a while you'll spot deer. Inside the barn fence there are lambs and sometimes horses, which is a nice touch. Also kind of cool is that there are wild chive plants around this trail which is common in the Pittsburgh area, and you'll find some growing in the park if you know what to look for.

The hotel is very clean and the lobby had plenty of seating and even some board games. The back of the hotel had a patio with a grill and even a basketball court. The gym was a little basic but it's a hotel gym I'm not expecting it to look like a Planet Fitness: Miniature Size. The only things holding this back: The breakfast is a big hit or miss. The pulled pork I had on saturday was so dry and unflavorful I nearly choked. The milk was also room temp (not great for cereal!), the handicap rooms are also way too far from the elevators (right near an exit for a staircase but if someone is in a wheelchair that doesn't help much). Additionally despite the hotel being as big as it is, there are only two luggage carts I waited almost an hour when I checked in and checked out. Doesn't help when some guests can't be bothered to bring the carts down after use and just leave them unattended in the middle of their hotel room floor. Also the sleeper couch is very uncomfortable woke up with neck and back discomfort and pain every morning :/.

3.5 Oldie but a…read moreGoodie. This Holiday Inn Express and Suites is located in the affluent Southpointe area near Canonsburg and close to shops, restaurants, gyms, condos, and schools. I chose this hotel strictly due to the price, as the other two hotels close by, the AC Hotel and the newly renovated Homewood Suites, were priced much higher at the time of my booking. I booked a massive one-bedroom king room at a very reasonable rate. This hotel is an older style of Holiday Inn and Suites and does not have the modern look of newer Holiday Inn and Suites. The decor and the furniture seem very 90's or early 2000s style; even the TVs in my room were more than 10 years old. However, the room was clean and very spacious. One odd item to note was that the room had a kitchenette, but all of the cupboards and drawers were empty. No plates, glasses, or cutlery were available. The bedroom had its own TV and heating/AC unit; the bathroom had a shower and toilet, with the sink outside the bathroom. The main living area had a desk, a table and chairs and a kitchen island with additional seating. The lobby is massive and opulent, with a very large area for dining and eating the complimentary breakfast. There is a business center and additional meeting rooms on the first floor. One highlight was the fitness room, which was in a very large room with an abundance of fitness equipment, which was perfect for a three-night stay and allowed me to change up my daily workouts. The hotel comes with a pool, but the pool area has no humidity control, or at least it wasn't on or working during my stay, which made staying in that area very uncomfortable, especially on a hot and muggy summer day. The guest laundry has two washers and two dryers, and you have to pay by credit card or use an app that allows you to pre-pay the fees and use the equipment through the app. The breakfast was good and abundant with multiple hot and cold choices, but on one of the days, with more than 30 minutes left in the breakfast service, most of the hot food was finished, and I was told they weren't going to replenish it. Aside from that, I had an overall pleasant stay. The hotel could use a modernization at some point, as the rooms have no USB or USB-C charging ports but many electrical outlets available for chargers. The channel selection is basic satellite with no streaming capability. Wifi is strong enough for general use and multiple devices. If you are looking for an affordable stay in the area, this hotel might work for you.
