I'm excited to be the first person posting a review for this wonderful B&B. We arrived at midnight-without contacting Pam in advance. This is my first time staying in a B&B so I thought it operates just like a regular hotel. Despite my ignorance Pam took us in and she was welcoming considering we woke her up from her sleep. The room and the bathroom are kept super clean. Breakfast was EXCELLENT. I was pleasantly surprised. Pam poached 6 eggs to perfection in the morning. There was cereal, yogurt fruits, croissant, toast, tea/coffee, orange juice and the main food. You get to choose from a menu the night before and Pam prepares it fresh in the morning. I feel like if this was a breakfast restaurant I would come here to just eat breakfast. I am posting pictures of the breakfast since it was so mind blowing. I am glad I still have 2 days left at this beautiful place.
I am adding some stuff on this review since I have more great things to add! I tried the other breakfast that was equally good-but I won't describe that any more since I already talked about how amazing the breakfast is here. Pam-she is the owner and host of this b&b was the sweetest host I could ask for. We didn't get so much information the first day since we arrived so late but over the stay she was wonderful and providing us with anything and everything we needed. She gave us information about where to eat, best way to get to the airport. You name it - she will know. She's an expert in the area and she also knows people around town. On our last day when my family was having a hard time finding taxi, Pam somehow found us while she was driving and provided us with a ride even. I am not sure how I can show how much I appreciated the level of care Pam puts in the B&b and the relationship she will maintain with the people staying at B&B.
I guess to sum things up I will be back staying with Pam when I return to St Andrews again instead of Fairmont hotel at St Andrews (I stayed there for my first visit). read more
