I come at least once per week/every other week as I leave a bouquet of flowers on my sister's grave nearly every weekend. What's changed recently I feel is the level of customer service. I had been returning to this store for so long because I truly enjoyed the florist there Geoff. I haven't seen him in quite some time - not sure if he relocated or left the business - but the new staff doesn't have the same professionalism, kindness or presence that he had. It really makes a difference! I'll keep returning in the hopes that I see him again soon - everything he crafted was so beautiful and I just haven't had the same quality of product or experience since. I made a vase. My wife made a bowl & lid. I accidentally broke a part of my vase off at the top while making it. But Cait gave me a great idea. Why not put roses at that spot? She showed me how to make them. I would have never thought that I could make something like this. 2 weeks later we went back to paint our pieces (a few doors down at a different studio). Even after a few coats, the paint looked dull. Then we went back at a later time to pick our pieces up. WOW!! You can see in the included photos. The firing brings the colors out so vibrant. Disappointed a bit today. First of all, the selection of ceramics to paint was sparce. I wanted to…read morepaint with my Granddaughter however there was nothing that interested me...and with the $10 sitting fee...I didn't think it was worth it with the lack of choices. She decided to paint a vase for her Mom and a small leaf plate for her Dad. There was really nothing she wanted for herself. Like I mentioned the selection was terrible. Secondly, we were left upstairs by ourselves while the only employee was working in the basement. She was very sweet and pleasant but how many times can you ring the bell and have her run up the steps? We struggled with a few of the small bottles of paint and they were out of brown paint. We got most everything on our own. Not sure the reason we needed to leave a tip?!! Last time here I was even more disappointed as I was with a group of ladies. We did ceramic trays in the basement. We had to get up and search for the employee to get more tiles, glue and paper towels. We all spent $45 or $50 (I forget exactly) and we were sent home with un-finished trays. We were given powder to mix the grout at home. The instructions were pathetic. I ended up purchasing ready made grout from an art supply store to finish my project. I would NEVER recommend doing a big mosaic project here. It was not what I expected and I felt ripped off with my time and money. Two times in a row I left feeling frustrated. We love coming here but the place seems a bit neglected.

Unfortunately the flowers were delivered "late" as described on a phone call I received after the flowers were dropped off. This meant that the flowers I had ordered, on time, were left to sit out in 20 degree weather while my parents finished up dinner and could return home to move them indoors. By the morning, the flowers had browned. As evidenced by the photo. I understand that the shop may be busy this time of year however when calls and messages were left to rectify the situation, no return phone call was received on my end. If I could have been alerted to the late delivery earlier we could have postponed the delivery to the next day when a relative would be available to bring the flowers indoors. I would assume a florist of this caliber would know it is gravely inappropriate to leave flowers in frigid cold without confirming they can be taken inside. I have ordered flowers from this florist for years but this is by far the worst treatment or experience I have ever had.
