Dr. Faheem is absolutely amazing, I've been seeing her for over a year and I've never had a bad experience. I actually drive about 45 minutes to come here despite having many Psychiatrist's in my area that are much closer. I actually tried to switch to one in my area to avoid the inconvenient drive, but I quickly switched back after realizing how top notch the experience at Crescent is. Dr. Faheem is very sweet, kind, and empathetic and makes sure you receive the best possible treatment every single time. The office staff are also amazing and go above and beyond every single time! I highly recommend scheduling an appointment. Also, I didn't have insurance up until last month, and the pricing here is affordable even if you are uninsured. I have left here very satisfied with my experience every visit, highly recommend.

The biggest issue I have amongst many with the Ennis location, is the fact that I initially went for 8 day detox only. During my stay, I had requested to continue the program to the full 30 days. Months after I left, I received a whopping bill for the denied time I was there - that's a huge bill. My insurance denied my request to continue care and nobody ever told me. They just let me stay and kept billing me without my knowledge or consent. Oh yeah- also, the facility is full of black mold.

While under their care, he suffered a seizure and was taken to the hospital. We were never notified, despite being listed as his parents and emergency contacts. After returning from the hospital, Discovery Point did not provide a discharge plan, medication guidance, seizure instructions, or parent communication. Instead, my son was dropped off at a gas station and effectively abandoned. We only learned what had happened after picking him up ourselves. A employee at the facility later acknowledged to us that what occurred was wrong and should not have happened. We were told the situation had been escalated internally to supervisors, and that a new administrator had recently taken over the Ennis location. We were further told that these unsafe discharge practices were tied to changes under this new administration and that similar incidents had occurred previously. We repeatedly contacted leadership at both the Ennis and Waxahachie locations seeking explanation or help. No one has taken responsibility. No one has followed up. Reading recent reviews, it is deeply disturbing to see nearly identical stories involving medical emergencies, lack of family notification, unsafe discharges, and abandonment. This appears to be a pattern, not an isolated incident. Due to the seriousness of what occurred, we are contacting the Texas Attorney General's Office, the Ellis County District Attorney's Office, the Better Business Bureau, our insurance provider, News channels and legal counsel. What happened here is not just unprofessional, it is dangerous. If this has happened to you or your loved one and you are reading this, please consider reporting it to the appropriate authorities so this does not continue happening to vulnerable people. They don't just write a prescription and send you on your way. They actually talk with you and try to find the best course of treatment. I could not hug her enough as we were leaving. This is the only program that my daughter has completed. This is the first time we've had real hope in many years.
