I normally don't leave reviews for places, but I have to say, this place has impressed me quite a bit. About two weeks ago, the barber I normally would go to was giving me all kinds of issues, rescheduling with me and forgetting when we actually had set an appointment. I felt that I needed a change, and so I booked an appointment with James at No Grease. The first time I went in, the entire shop made me feel incredible, almost fighting over who wanted to cut my hair more. Now, my hair can be a little tough to work with (pretty thick, I have a few cowlicks, etc.), so I usually give my barbers the benefit of the doubt the first time I see them. James surprised me by doing a pretty solid job the first time through, and while I had a few things that I would've changed, it was a better experience than almost every other barber that I've gone to on the first try. I decided to go back for a second time, and with me saying little to nothing about the way I wanted my hair cut, James completely blew me away. He remembered everything we had talked about the first time, gave me one of the best and closest skin-tight fades I've gotten, and even finished ahead of schedule. I HIGHLY recommend this place, coming from someone who is SUPER PICKY about their hair. You will not regret it. read more

Couldn't say enough about my experience, so apologies if my review is too wordy ..... New-property, not new to the business! As I have over 8 years in hotel hospitality, the likes of such that I had received from this barbershop, would be what was shown to my colleagues in our online training videos. Being greeted at my arrival by Stefon was most-easily comparable to what Bat Man must feel coming home to his butler Alfred. Took my coat at the door, informed me on all things relative to them being a new location, and so on. Red, the stylist who cut my hair, did as good a job as anyone, if not better, and shared with my fiance and I, great conversation. The great attitude of the staff here is not solely left to them, as I had the pleasure to meet the owner as well, who made it all make sense as to the thoroughness of everything.... Great environment, wonderful interior-design, awesome hair cut, and, never though I'd be compelled to make a reference to this ever, but easily the best playlist I've heard in any of my visits to any barber in any location. Awesome job ya'll, see ya'll real soon. read more

If your traveling through Columbia and need the cleanest fade/ haircut, dont stress. No Grease barbershop off Gervais, is the best choice. It has a classy yet chill vibe to relax, decompress, and feel confident that you will be getting one the best hair cuts ever. Kia was my barber and if I wasn't off to my next city this week. I would be a regular client of hers with out a doubt. My haircut is perfect. I asked for a bald high fade and it came out so blended, everything was seamless. Kia is a pro, she knows how to take care of her clients very well. She also made me feel welcomed and comfortable knowing I was in the right spot. Needless to say, book with her at No Grease asap! Thank You Kia, I look so good! Haa read more

How many rounds do you think you could go with Ali? You'll never know until you give this place a shot. This is an upscale, yet comfortable atmosphere with smartly dressed barbers who can hang with you as long as it takes to get you the look you want at a price that still suits your budget. They take "walk-in" but I'd make an appointment at www.NoGrease.com., or (803) 834-3674 and tell them the "Colonel" sent you! High-Fives! all around! Remember too, these are professionals so don't scrimp on the tip! read more

I think I've finally found my boys' a barbershop!!! This place is clean and the atmosphere is comfortable and kid-friendly. I was very comfortable having my young boys inside. My oldest doesn't usually like his haircut because he's very picky. However, he Loved Timothy and is still smiling and eagerly posing for the camera because he loves his haircut. He also wanted me to write this review because he wanted to share his great experience. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

This is not just a barbershop but an experience! The staff is very professional and courteous! My barber was James who was prompt and professional! I made an appointment online and when I arrived at the shop, I was met by the owner who directed me to James barber chair! Not only did he cut my hair but, educated me on ways to maintain the cut! I will definitely be back and will spread the word on how excellent the service was! read more

Great place to get a haircut! Had a horrible experience with my previous barber where there was literally horizontal lines going through my hair causing my hair to grow different angles because the barber went too deep. Although, Matt the Doc was able to use his wizardry to cut my hair and slowly get it back to its naturals state. State of the art of haircut and definitely will come back! read more

Made an appointment for 5 and walked in at 4:50 and sat right down. Chill staff with a relaxing atmosphere. James was quick and did a great job. Joked around a little with the guys in there and left relaxed and completely forgot about the stress of the day, got a great cut and left relaxed. My only regret is not asking what "no grease" means. read more

Ive been going here, just about since it has opened. The owner is almost always around, incredibly friendly, and seems to care about his staff and more importantly the community. All of the staff seem very passionate about cutting hair and take their time with each customer. I've never had a bad haircut or felt I was a rushed customer. read more
