Overall the experience was great. I will say they were a little bit expensive. I had to pay $40 to get my son's haircut. Although it could have been due to the fact that his hair was pretty rough. Had a lot of knots in it otherwise, Trisha, I believe her name was was very nice. And it was no wait to get my son's hair cut. read more

I had my hair fixed here a few weeks ago after a salon down the road completely messed up. These gentlemen have a BEAUTIFUL setup! The whole business is pristine, modern, but holds an old school barber shop feel perfectly. The moment I walked in the door they took my backpack and jacket for me, had me sit down and reassured me that they could fix my hair. The entire cut I didn't even think about needing to look in the mirror, I could tell right away that they knew what they were doing. The creams used, the shave, the fade, and the cut were all SPOT ON. The customer service, skill, and atmosphere were all perfect, this -in my opinion- is the best place you could get a hair ANYTHING in Columbia. I'll be back again very soon! While we waited close to an hour for a set online appointment, it was a busy Saturday with walk ins welcome, and thankfully I had the time. My boys loved their cut, the professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding. Only issue was the high pressure air stylists used to blow hair away from each chair--it blows toward anyone waiting so perhaps move cushioned seats down? We just happened upon this shop on our walk through the downtown area called The Vista And my husband really needed a haircut. So, we walked in and we were glad we did...it was an absolutely marvelous experience! Timothy was very personable and professional! Great haircut and great service. I really needed a haircut, but I have a really busy schedule. Luckily, I was able to come in and start right away. My barber, Doc was very friendly and super professional. He did a great job and I can say that it's one of the best haircuts I've ever got. The most memorable part was the staff. Not sure if it was the owner/manager, but I'm assuming so, met with each customer and thanked them for coming. He also complimented my cut, which is something that made the whole experience the 5-star experience I look forward to returning in the future! read more

Worst experience ever. To start they messed with the thermostat , so it was 80° and i sweat the entire time. After getting home to shower I had long strands of hair everywhere. The hair just above my ears was missed and had long strands there. I was supposed to get a cut and bear trim, but just got my beard lined up and had to shave my neck completely when I got home cuz everything was missed. My wife even trimmed my hair afterwards to fix it so I could feel comfortable in public. All after paying $58 for this cut, and then I got charged twice. Will never use this place again. read more

I normally don't leave reviews for places, but I have to say, this place has impressed me quite a bit. About two weeks ago, the barber I normally would go to was giving me all kinds of issues, rescheduling with me and forgetting when we actually had set an appointment. I felt that I needed a change, and so I booked an appointment with James at No Grease. The first time I went in, the entire shop made me feel incredible, almost fighting over who wanted to cut my hair more. Now, my hair can be a little tough to work with (pretty thick, I have a few cowlicks, etc.), so I usually give my barbers the benefit of the doubt the first time I see them. James surprised me by doing a pretty solid job the first time through, and while I had a few things that I would've changed, it was a better experience than almost every other barber that I've gone to on the first try. I decided to go back for a second time, and with me saying little to nothing about the way I wanted my hair cut, James completely blew me away. He remembered everything we had talked about the first time, gave me one of the best and closest skin-tight fades I've gotten, and even finished ahead of schedule. I HIGHLY recommend this place, coming from someone who is SUPER PICKY about their hair. You will not regret it. read more

Great place to get a haircut! Had a horrible experience with my previous barber where there was literally horizontal lines going through my hair causing my hair to grow different angles because the barber went too deep. Although, Matt the Doc was able to use his wizardry to cut my hair and slowly get it back to its naturals state. State of the art of haircut and definitely will come back! read more
